Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Creator City could be considered the rougher area of the Land of Fire, with business dealings that didn't want to be under the eyes of Shinobi, people sleeping rough, and bars that had guards on the door no matter the time of day, this would be considered the messier and less regulated part of the Land of Fire, people tried not to get the attention of each other, and no-one really questions the purpose that someone was here for, however, those being loud, or not careful would be able to have attention brought to them, even with the hustle and bustle of those around them.

The sky was empty today of any form of clouds, and it seemed that the visage of a relaxing day with the sun rising high would be how this journey would start, the question as always with a day like today what would it bring for those coming in and out of creater city.

Kino kept a close eye on his surroundings without making too many obvious glances, as he made his way to the pick up location. Once he was out of this part of the job it was going to be smooth sailing back to the villages inner city. Once at the location he looked to the owner, "Here to pick up the grain" a code phrase that had been given to him to avoid any prolonged attention from passers by. He would then slip the package into his messenger bag, tightening the straps to tuck it under his arm more securely. He would thank the man and begin to make his way out.

He remember how poorly the last mission had gone for him, even if it was a success, and the mission he had heard about Sota being ambushed over the paintings not too far from this location. Those thoughts made him hyper aware of his surroundings, his nerves not shown on his face or body language but ever present in his mind. He was looking to avoid any conflict as he didn't need another trip to that damned hospital, no that's not why. He was trying to prevent himself from losing control again, he actively feared himself which made this mission all that much more serious. He needed to stay focused and level headed, it was just a few more minutes of stress then he was free to make himself move fast again and get the job done.

As the young Shinobi walked through the streets, trying to be hyper-cautious about his surroundings it became clear that he may have gotten into his own mind a little bit too far, it seemed that with the distraction around him, and his focus being elsewhere in those moments he and a very bulky man decided to collide together while walking while the man really didn't budge it was enough to throw the student off his trail slightly and make him stumble backward before he would need to regain his surrounding, a voice aimed at him may have broken that up.

However as a hand clenched around the front of the boy's clothes and lifted him into the air to dangle there, the man brought them u to face height with himself in that moment, eye contact between the two of them. He looked angry and annoyed at the situation he was finding himself in, though with people turning their intention to the interaction it seemed that he had to at least let his voice be heard around so everyone knew it wasn't his fault.

"What were you going kid! What makes you think you can just walk into people and not even apologize!"

His voice echoed down the streets turning the attention onto the commotion and more importantly onto Kino in the blink of an eye.

"Sorry, wasn't my intention, please let me go and I can leave you be." Kino's words were soft and spoken in a manner that implied he was speaking through his teeth. He was pissed that this man had just scooped him up like this, not because the man was mad but for the fact now all the attention was on him. He looked around and then back to the man, "I am going to seriously suggest you put me the fuck down, other wise I am going to ask a question that I can guarantee you don't have an answer for yet." His anger was bubbling up, it didn't even feel like it was him speaking but just the fire in his stomach having found its own way of speech.

"Just put me down you stupid bastard before someone gets hurt, alright?" He groaned out through his teeth once more. His brain was already calculating the moves and what was happening next. The constant one, two, three of it all repeating over and over in his mind for each possible scenario. He knew that the likelihood he was let go without a fight in this district was almost none, so the question was now how he'd contain his anger enough to not kill this guy. He wasn't sure this was something he wanted, but honestly he had been so frustrated these past few weeks that maybe it would be good to blow off some steam. Besides, this guy started this mess he was just going to finish it quickly and move on.

A cold tone entered Kino's voice as he finished his earlier threat, "give up now, conceed, and go home with a bruised ego. Because if you don't put me down.. What do you want me to tell your family?" His eyes pinned on the man's, void and expressionless as her spoke. He meant what he said, he was going to kill him.

"Is that right, Let's see what you have when we turn you upside down and smack the items from you, shall we? Afterall seems a big bag for such a small kid"

Those words echoed, pointing out to those that were light on money or needed cash that the kid may actually be loaded, in that split second, changed the dynamic of this street situation, as people began to stand up and look at the kid, reaching behind them and pulling out small knives, or just preparing themselves with their bare hands, it seemed the situation had completely escalated int hat split second. The man threw the boy against the wall, letting the crowd do its work and begin to move in, like animals cornering a prayer they all looked towards Kino with none of them giving a hint of emotion.

"Get the little brat"

It was then, in a few seconds that Kino would catch the glint of a dagger being stabbed in his direction, this had escalated beyond what would be assumed normal, all with the prospect of getting some money, even if it was just for the aim of having some better food to eat, or having a bed for the night. They didn't care about the boy's age.

Kino would smile lightly to himself. Everything around him fell to a low humming as it all seemed to slow. He loved this, the calm before the violence. It was what he was craving, why he even accepted this mission. It was the exactly thing that deep down inside, he was praying for.

In a quick moment his legs shot up, scooping the man holding him directly into the incoming blade. Once the grip loosened from the shock he kicked the man's back, sending Kino into the air and the man deeper onto the blade. As he landed he took a look at his surroundings and stood straight. The beginnings of his explosive rage, the chakra that had covered him before, escaping from his fingertips and beginning to envelope his arms.

Accompanying this, a crackle of lightning began to dance around his hands as he made some hand signs. Thunder fist and a little unwinding was what he needed, seems like he was about to get it. He rushed in and slammed his fist into the man who had originally held the blade in a n attempt to rupture something.

Kino was no longer here, just rage.

What was a simple fray, turned into panic, the sight of blood erupting from this man's now open kidney as the knife slipped in, his yell of pain that echoed out across the street in that instance the silence changed, some shouting to help the man, others simple people desperate now in horror screamed and ran, pushing each other and barging into each other at the eruption of violence that had just happened. All in that instance, Kino was already moving the man that stabbed his friend staggered backward the knife falling, as he looked at the wound, shock in his eyes as he looked up seeing a fist colliding his face, the electricity numbed his body, spasmed every muscle in him, as his jaw simply shattered, leaving him in a crumpled mess.

"You bastard"

The words echoed into Kino ear, as he felt a stabbing pain unknown to him at the time, enter his back, erupting his nerves in a second, as a fourth and fifth man pushed through the now running crowds to get to them, it seemed out of the five three were still up to the fight, the rest of the beggars had no want to die here and were scampering into doorways or finding any excuse to move out of this situation.

"fun." Kino looked over his shoulder and smiled. He turned to face the three, and uncomfortable calm about him. "Last chance.. not everyone has to die.." his face and body now engulfed in the same static energy, this dark and sinister energy.

"Okay times up." He rushed one man attempting to just kick out his knee with a low sweep. The momentum he would then use to push off, slamming both hands down on another man's head. He would turn back to the man with the broken knee and just stare for a second.

He looked at the final man, "him or you? Who goes home?"

Before Kino could even let the last words come from his mouth it seemed that the group had already decided that the best option for them in this situation was to just call their losses just that, a loss, and move from the situation, scattering in what was left of the group leaving the dead, dying and wounding to try and survive themselves, that was fine in the eyes of the survivors after all most of them had to fight to survive for their lives and this was no exception.

Without words or anyone talking, they vanished as well from the situation, making sure that no one gave a reply or even bothered to look back at the huge mess that had been caused in this situation. leaving the Shinobi to his own devises it seemed that with the mess and confusion it had given Kino a way to slip out if he wanted.

Kino let out a sigh, taking a deep breath and assessing the damage. Less gruesome, more controlled, more acceptable, these were his assessments of the situation. While it wasn't ideal this had happened, it certainly was an excellent time to push the limits of his control. For the first time, it felt like it worked.

He adjusted his straps and began to make his way out of the village. He would use a few things packed to make himself more presentable for the drop off. Was this.. was this what he wanted? He felt good in this moment, like he'd been refreshed, but also like he'd lost a bit of something. He was going to need to leave that letter for the ant man sooner than he thought.

It was either time to tame it or seal it, that much he knew. But as these thoughts came rushing in, he was already almost home. He'd have to drop this at the location, along with stopping in to write up his report. All of which sounded like a miserable way to spend his evening.

Conveniently, after dropping the package, two nurses caught him and started a conversation. They informed him that he must have done the discharge incorrectly and was needed back at the hospital to fix that error. He saw no reason to argue, hell what would the point have even been. So instead he simply said, "what a drag."
