[col]Fate is often fickle and confusing. From getting his ass worked over underground to his cousin generally being annoying to the exceptionally odd occurrences in the desert, Matsu was beginning to try and come to grips with this new information. It was not very often that his world views were challenged in such a way. So now, after all was said and done and he was recovering far more slowly than usual, he would have himself once more posted up in his home. It was quite nice, set away from many things in the stacks that were the residential area. On this particular day he would be going out once more to have himself a bit of a drink. It kept his mind dulled so that the clarity he gained would at least be blurred for a while. So now, Matsu sat quietly on a stool at the edge of a bar, adding carmot melange to his drink which would basically make it into some kind of muddy liquid before he'd slam it down.
Lightly he would drum his right hand on the table as he reflected on the screaming that was inside of his head. That accursed blade would just not stop yelling at him to bleed. He did, often, there were no questions of this. But now they rattled in his mind and he simply wanted them to shut up. They never drove him to anything in particular, but his ancestors definitely did not care about his well being. Well, perhaps that was merely his perception of them. His right hand would tap the bar with his knuckles and the bartender would bring another drink around as he would again had his drug of choice, pound it down, and sigh heavily. His appearance would be offputting to most as per usual and in this set of circumstances, he was basically alone. There was one patron sitting in the corner of this bar trying to be ignored and not catch Matsu's gaze. This was simple as he really did not care. He would have to want something for that to even matter and right now all he wanted was for his tiny, little world to shut up for a while
