Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Or so the legends describe; at immediate glance this particular weapon doesn't appear to be anything remarkable. Beyond it's light-tan color and black trimming, the only additional interesting portion is the chain that hooks from the bottom of the handle to the fan-end; held there with a carabiner clip.

Technical Pacifist
Drawn into the world of shinobi not due to lust for blood, progressing powers otherworldly, or becoming the most famous individual in existence; no. Karu joined to earn his way into a life of a very small degree of wealth, engrossing himself in a world of his own that didn't globe poverty, weakness, starving and sickness that couldn't so easily be staved off. Due to this, his perspective of the world tends to break free of other conventions. It was a strong understanding that often those that fight, fight for a reason that isn't known to their foe; to at least provide the opportunity of relief, re-evaluation and perhaps escaping the bindings that tied each fighter to their mentality of death. At least- It was the goal.

Teamwork
During his time in younger days, the child Karu was faced with many hurdles that he otherwise was not knowledgeable enough to contend with or even comprehend in most circumstances. It was during this time that a large majority of his development kicked into over-drive, while having an uncanny talent and recalling information and a general understanding of the world around him. His 'friends' in other terms were there to help guide his skills, forge them into a individual to be reckoned with, regardless of his age and frail form. Even after the days that he parted ways with their troupe of sorts, he remembered and held dearly the sense of camaraderie and knew how valuable it was to keep in-tune with.

Quick Reaction
It is inevitable to be caught in some form of trouble when you live in the slums, anywhere- That is increased multiple times when you live in the slums of Sunagakure no Sato. Whether you wish to heed to it's warnings or not, fact of the matter is if you take a wrong turn. Wrong alley, wrong district, you will find yourself in plenty trouble. If you aren't trained, or capable enough to defend yourself. You better be sure you can react back with uncanny strength and prowess to ensure that they regret the decision to strike out at yourself. Even as a kid, this was drilled into Karu's mind, encountered plenty of brawls, muggers and otherwise people drugged beyond any form of cognitive interaction. Due to this, he required to learn how to be quick, efficient and snap-accurate in returning the favor of his foes, larger or smaller than himself. It was a dog-eat-dog world where he lived, thus he had to bite harder.

Acrobatics
It's said acrobatics comes to those that train relentlessly, becoming pinnacles of physical prowess. What is rarely explored is the understanding that the body can and needs to adapt to certain situations that otherwise is considered a life necessity rather than a skill to show off to the world. Such is the case to the young individual named Karu, while he was born into a impoverished family and inevitably abandoned on the streets. He had quickly required to train his petite body to maneuver, weave and glide through obstacles, people and questionable structures in order to escape the contact of shady individuals, animals and otherwise malevolent forces to the young child.

Calm Mind
Founded more recently to Karu's entry to the world of being a full-fledged Genin. He had established the understanding that if he allowed a certain leg-room for his mind to collect its thoughts, actions and overall preparation amidst a battle it would create room for him to be even more a problematic individual to face. While it was never vastly different than his self otherwise; it came to him mostly as a realization than a revelation of new-found powers. While he was young still, the thought invested so grievously into combat had to be parsed into sections that allowed thorough reading into his opponent or opponents.
 
Karu's PL has reached PL: 347 and has unlocked his fourth CA Skill-Point. Bringing him to 2 Unused points. I would like to invest them in to the following CA upgrade:

Tactical Mind - Passive (2 points)
Every battle is a game of chess to a Quick Learner, a means with which to hone their minds and skills. Those opponents they choose to practice these skills on don't generally fare too well.
Effect: +1 accuracy with all Mastered jutsu. Additional +.5 accuracy to all attacks every round after the second. Cannot gain more than +4 accuracy on any attack.

Often while they're planning what to do in a battle, a Quick Learner will get hit in defensive stance. Well, that won't do--so they'll strike back. With full force, and, just to rub salt in the wound, the exact same way.
Effect: The last ranged Ninjutsu the user was hit with can be reflected back at the caster for full damage at -2 accuracy and at 50% the original cost. None of the user's buffs are carried over to the jutsu, only those that were applied to the original cast. Can only be used once per round. User still takes full damage from the jutsu. Costs the same amount of AP it took the opponent to cast the jutsu.

Sharp Insight - Passive (2 points)
An enemy's weaknesses are open for a Quick Learner to read, and to hit them with, that they can tell what their opponent is less skilled at and what they need to do to hit them.
Effect: If the targeted opponent's Ninjutsu is lower than their Taijutsu, the user's Ninjutsu damage is increased by 10%. If the opponent's Taijutsu is lower than their Ninjutsu, the user's Taijutsu damage is increased by 10%. If both stats are equal, both Ninjutsu and Taijutsu are raised by 5%.

In addition to his recent increase in power. He had unlocked 2 more ability slots & the ability to acquire Shinobi 101 - And a missed factor is his Earthern Minor Affinity rises to Major and his new Minor Affinity is allocated to Fire.

Every shinobi has a niche that they call their own, something that defines their style and how the fight plays in their favor. Karu’s is while something somewhat conventional, it provides a great deal of opportunity to negate the efforts of his foe while providing ample room for him to exploit their weakness. The defining reason, roots to his tiny form being incapable of creating its own natural forces, being physically weak and ill-capable of extraordinary spells of speed, he had to improvise with external components. This is done by combining a latent talent with a Gunbai & Chain, a weapon that helps suppress the advances of his foes through the use of the chain and a minor direction towards utilizing his wind chakra- and while unbeknownst to him, his soon-to-be kinesis talents.

Healing Factor
With the introduction of the retrovirus in his body, his factors of healing have grown at an alarming rate. When the affliction first occurred, he was impaled by many massive mutated carmot crystals. While leaving significant and clear damage on his body; the time it took his allies and ultimately himself to get to a medical facility capable and willing to mend his wounds- the large majority of them had already meshed over with a viscous goo, closing and weaving a lot of the wounds to a tender, but minor and functional state. While his rate of recovery has hastened, it was only a mere fraction and shadow to what was being born within’.

Young and full of potential. Karu had begun his endeavors into shinobi-hood with an eagerness for money, a wealth that could sustain him where his childhood was lived in poverty. A selfish but practical reason he always figured; however in the heat of combat and the short time he’s lived in the wake of being a shinobi he has encountered a number of hurdles to overcome with grace and skill- Some of which he lacked. These unfortunate situations begun driving the young man to improve himself with earnest. After-all his goal hadn’t changed, merely brought into the perspective that the young man had room to improve, but from where he stood his talents were beginning to present themselves.
