Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

uh.... the major affinities, or the advanced ones? Cause I only have 2 major, but 3 advanced. So while we get that figured out, weapontiem.

Kensei has taken a strange liking to card tricks, which led him to coming up with this one. By infusing them with a little bit of chakra, he can take these seemingly useless cards and turn them into weapons. Though paper cuts aren't really much of a thread, he can't sharpen the edges, only making them more powerful upon impact. The cards also change color, depending on the taijutsu being used.

Abilities:

0. Combat Medic

1. Elementalist
As a skilled user of all things water jutsu, Kensei bends it to his will without any effort on his part. With the training he's gone through in his free time, as he has a lot due to not fighting regularly, he's learned that he can can do many things with his jutsu. He's seen others do what he can do at some extent, adding different flavors to their jutsu, but not many of them have the skill he has. At this point, he can add multiple additions to his jutsu, catch his opponents off-guard with many of them and overpower them.

2. Duelist
One thing that Kensei was never really good at is fighting in groups, he likes to overpower one opponent with many jutsu rather than have to worry about splitting his focus. With this in mind, even if it'd put him at a disadvantage against multiple opponents, Kensei trained to fight against one specific opponent. With this, he's learned that ways to dish out more damage per attack and hit them a lot easier. He wouldn't call himself a master at it, he still isn't the best at fighting, but at this point he recognizes he's a lot better one on one than he is fighting against groups.

3. Healing Factor
Being a medical ninja, around many other medical ninja and medical equipment, Kensei has retained many of its teachings over the years. Something natural to those of his species and what he's come to understand about medical jutsu, Kensei has learned that he heals quicker than many others, and by much, I mean nigh instantaneous. This doesn't mean he heals any and all damage done to him, he can just heal some of it while still fighting. He's realized that the slight heal means little at the moment, but over time it will accumulate and show a big difference. It is a long term investment.

4. Clumsiness
Kensei is a closet clutz, he usually carries himself with the highest amount of poise possible, but sometimes he has a slip up. These tend to come and not so critical moments, only when he isn't focusing on a single aspect of something, so when he is in surgery, his clumsiness doesn't come into play, but when he's cooking sometimes he'll burn himself or cut himself. During fights he may trip himself or miss some really good attacks because he's just that much of a clutz. Sometimes it gets really annoying for him and other around him, but it isn't something that he can help.

5. Strategist
One thing that comes with being a talented surgeon is the ability to think quickly and think well. This feature, that many other medical ninja have, can be transferred onto the battlefield. A genius by no means, however, Kensei begins any and all confrontations ready to fight, plans multiple minutes ahead of time. His plans aren't guaranteed to succeed, but they are still pretty well thought out and can play out well if they work. He mostly utilizes this for his deck of cards, he doesn't use them often and so he can plan ahead when he wants to use them without having to devote much thought during the fight when it would be best to utilize them.

6. Water Style
Even when Kensei believes he knew everything about fighting with water jutsu, there is always more he can learn. Seeking the help of another, he's accomplished just that. With the help of another water jutsu specialist, he taught Kensei a special style that only other water jutsu specialists can learn and master, he called this style Mizugeki. Combining this with everything else he learned, Kensei wouldn't call himself a master of water jutsu, but he should be able to fight better with it than most people. He also learned that there are many different styles within this one style that he may exploit whenever it is needed, even if they don't fit his fighting style

7. Clarity
With his natural born eye, that already has an above average level of perception, and his byakugan that isn't his, Kensei has learned that he has a much easier time seeing through Genjutsu. This doesn't mean he's good at countering it, it just means he's good at spotting them. When he learns how to get out of genjutsu, then this will be a priceless gift, but for now, it works well against low level genjutsu meant to trick him, mostly genjutsu that he can see. In the long run, this skill may save his life, but for now, it doesn't help him in battle much, as he hasn't faced a genjutsu user before. This is also why he never training to counter them, when he does face them, it'll either be a learning experience, or his execution.
