Just posting this for now. I will be activating my stuff (CA, affinities, abilities, ect) soon enough
Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.
This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Students at the academy hated to see his name on the board. It was usually paired with exhaustion, some blood loss, and maybe a broken bone. Still, the students learned. As they grew, they respected Kenshin even if they hated his teaching methods. Some teaching methods included throwing students into a hole and making them climb out using only their arms, putting them up against his clone who fought back, and possibly making them run around stone until they collapsed. All for a good cause of course. This was borderline torture, but compared to what they will face later it is child's play.

1 Bloody Mess
2Healing factorSometimes, Kenshin really hated his opponents. Gods know that he loved beating them up but there was something about a bloody nose that really fueled his drive to kill the enemy. Feeling that nose crack under his fist filled him with a sense of accomplishment and extra determination. All it took was a quick jab and life essence would spill. It was also usual in imparting his illusions. Still , seeing an enemy bleeding while being confused by his tricks. Well there was nothing better to get his own blood flowing. That sticky sweet sap that brings and takes away a life.

3 SuperchargeKenshin hated medical ninja. After they failed to save his beloved, he avoided the hospital at all costs. Sometimes it would bring him close to death but he would rather die than place his life in the hands of such incompetent swine. It is from this hardheadedness that Kenshin learned to heal on his own. He himself only knew the basics of one medical jutsu and that was enough for him. So his body seemed to adapt, as if it was used to taking that much damage and adjusted on its own. And he kept his body pushed to make sure it never reverted back. Some shinobi worried that he was over doing it but it worked, somehow, for him.

4 Weapon MasteryKenshin could take a hit. He had to if he wanted to survive. Being a Jounin is difficult work. However, Kenshin took it a step further. Being a melee fighter, the enemy always thought that if they stayed back and hit him with ninjutsu, it would stop him. It used to. But as he trained he focused on that ninjutsu attacks and how he could stop them. He could not stop them, per se, but he could turn that energy into something else. So with a lot of training and being hit with a lot of jutsu, he could maintain enough concentration to absorb some of that chakra and release it back at the enemy.
115
5 Combat InstinctKenshin was trained in many different forms of combat. Notably, he was trained in many forms of hand to hand martial arts. Easily he go to weapon is his steel knuckles that have been passed down through the generations. He had fallen asleep with those weapons on. Waking up with your face plastered against the side of metal is not very pleasant. He got better about that with age but he still almost exclusively used those weapons. sometimes he didn't even use the knuckles just his fists. That hurt more and sometimes he needed that pain. But his weapon of choice was his knuckles and with them he could win anything.
111
Chaos on the battlefield is to be expected but you don't really realize it until you live it. Kenshin has survived many of those fights. Shinobi rarely fought in large scale battles but his family came from a family of military folk. Sometimes he was asked to help in a battle and sure enough Kenshin would find himself in the middle of a giant battlefield. Relying on his training he would get knocked around on the battlefield until he realized that these fights needed something different. He needed a new strategy and to be a different kind of aware. That training lead to Kenshin to have a gut reaction when in dangerous situations. He learned to trust it. 118
6 Shattered Reality
7 Mind CrushSometimes the fists were not enough. Sometimes the best way to defeat an enemy is to shatter their resolve. Illusions were easily Kenshin's greatest assets outside of his physical attacks. The fact he could channel them into his fists made his attacks that much more deadly. Genjutsu allowed him to turn the enemies mind against them. A subtle art, normally, Kenshin preferred to be direct with the enemy. If he could ring their heads both internally and externally, he was going to do both at the same time. If the situation was really bad he could shatter the illusion he had placed to make it even more painful.
108
8 Elemental Illusion FireSometimes the best weapon for a fight is one that is custom made. His knuckles were like that. However, his genjutsu required more finesse than that. So he trained, on willing people, how to make a genjutsu different that others. He found that the subtle differences sometimes made the jutsu that much more deadly. Making it last longer or making it more intense could sway how well, or hopefully poorly, his victims are doing. It was not something he used often because most opponents were not worth the extra trouble. However for those that caused him trouble, Kenshin would make them rue the day they chose to go against him and his country.
113
9 Conservative MotionKenshin was usually stone faced and serious to a fault. However, behind that face was a man with fiery passion. It also did not help that he used fire jutsu like it was going out of style. So much fire was in his system that sometimes it would transfer to his genjutsu. His opponents would often time scream that they were on fire despite him using a technique that was not fire related. Sure he would still burn them but the fact his jutsu burned was a very nice touch. It seemed to affect those who really made Kenshin mad, like traitors.
102
10 DeflectionThere was a mission one time in which Kenshin had to keep an eye on an enemy for a long time. Why they chose him and not an ANBU to do it, he didn't know but he followed orders all the same. The opponent was another fighter type and when it came down to the actual kill, Kenshin was surprised to see that this guy could keep up with him. More troubling was that with any extra movement, he would be punished with a swift kick or punch. Kenshin had to switch his fighting style so that he owould only move when needed. The fight ended in victory but Kenshin was nursing bruises for weeks. Since then , he had learned that sometimes the least amount of movement is best.
130
11 Jutsu MasteryKenshin hated ranged attacks. He just wanted to get close and smash his opponents so he could just win. Some enemies thought that if they stayed away they could win. It was a good tactic. One he had to train to counter. Dodging was great but it meant he could not get closer So maybe being able to hold your own? But hat would require taking a hit. Well maybe. Maybe one could deflect such attacks? If one could deflect it, they could get closer. Yes that would have to work. Kenshin took many kunai to unpleasant places practicing with his idea but it paid off in the end. Deflecting kunai was like second nature to him.
117
12 IllusionistKenshin loved to use jutsu. He loved being a shinobi even though it has cost him so much. Kenshin practiced tirelessly with his techniques until they were second nature to him. Ninjtsu, taijutsu, genjutsu. He used them all and he was good at them all. He would make the enemies of Stone pay. He used his techniques so much that it seemed like his techniques cost less of the chakra in his body and he could do more with what he had. Maybe this was the case. All he knew was that if the enmy wanted to take down stone, they would be met with his fists, explosions, and illusions.
110
Once Kenshin started his practice with genjutsu, he would not stop until they were perfected. The enemies of Stone would learn to fear the one known as Kenshin because his illusions were so great, you could never escape them.Even those who had trained against genjutsu would find them selves in an altered state of mind. Or they would until they were killed by a brutal fist while lost in a trance. Kenshin knew his illusions were a great strength and with his fists, he defends Stone until the end of days and shinobi are no longer needed or wanted. Until then, his trickery would be used to save those he cared about.

Explosion-
Kenshin was not the best as ninjutsu. He preferred to get close to his enemy and pummel them with his fists and illusions. Or confuse them first then punish them with fists o plenty. But his family motto "Growing Strong" was inlaid on his own steel knuckles. He had to push himself. Goodness knows that he pushes his students. If he did not push himself, he would never grow and he would be a hypocrite. So he started to train. Going overboard, as he was likely to do, he picked fire jutsu to start with. He grabbed every scroll he could get his hands on and read them from day until night. Many scrolls returned a little wrinkly because he fell asleep on them. Kenshin then decided to try using the fire jutsu and everyday, the training area would be about 50 degree hotter because Kenshin would be using fire jutsu non stop until he collapsed. He definitely liked the fire, but there was something missing. It lacked an impact. When he hit his opponents, he FELT something. That sudden impact of fist on flesh. That sudden rattle at the contact made him feel alive. That is where his passion was. So maybe a jutsu that left more of an impact. Well earth jutsu looked ok.
After a brief time with earth jutsu, he noticed that he loved the way it felt to move the very earth. It was satisfying to watch as his fists slammed into the earth for it to change. That jarring moment seemed to awaken him. Still, it was not enough. He felt like he was missing something. Maybe a combination would work. He would start off with a combo attack ending in kicks so he could start weaving signs to use a fire jutsu. Trying to do both at the same time was not the wisest and he would end up with a nice bruise from where he had fallen. One time he had to get his hand healed at the hospital because he landed on his fingers. He hated going there because of what happened to... never mind.
It came with a surprise when he accidentally blew up a tree. Really, it had been a mistake. He had had a long day and was near his wits end. As he started off his combo he forgot what jutsu he was going to cast and somehow mixed up the signs for earth and fire jutsu, resulting in a little of both. He expected the jutsu to fail but was surprised when he felt some of his chakra flow forward and... well the tree was soon an ex-tree. Staring dumbfounded at his own hands, Kenshin figured it had to be a fluke and desperately tried to remember the combination of handsigns he used. It took a few tries but then he found he could meld the signs and the chaka to make somethings happen. Or should he said make explosions happen.
He smiled a toothy smile that no one could see in the darkness. Oh he was going to have fun with his next class.

Crystal
After his experience with Explosion jutsu, Kenshin decided to try other combinations. However, this seemed to evade him. He tried fire with all types of other jutsu and nothing came back. Well nothing great. There was this one time he made a really hot flame that lasted 2 seconds. Could never replicate it.
Sighing heavily, Kenshin returned home and flopped into his bed. It was annoying. He looked over and saw his small memorial to his departed and smiled. They had come from Mist before it was a frozen tundra. Those beautiful blue eyes always teared up when Mist was mentioned after the fact. They had visited the icy cold tundra once and Kenshin shuddered remembering the place. It was ridiculous how a village could be destroyed like that. It made him realize how much he wanted to protect Stone and them. But he could not do it. Those damn medical ninja. Empty promises.
Kenshin didn't really sleep that night. He just laid there thinking about their blue eyes, like small crystals they shone. A light in the darkness of shinobi. As the sun rose, he went back to training but was lost in thought. Those blue eyes starting at him. Glaring. Accusing. "Why did you let me die" The chakra flew form his finger tips. Water poured like a small geyser and he had to restrain his emotions. The small training area he was using filed with water and he swore to no one. Not feeling like dealing with it. he used wind jutsu to move the water to a safe space. As he moved the water, which was sill heavily infused with his emotional chakra. As the water was moved he not9ced that something was left behind. Small pebble sized somethings. He picked one up. It was a small blue crystal.
Gobsmacked, tears in eyes, he started to weave signs, mixing the water and wind jutsu he knew and in the center of his hand a crystal grew. He stopped the flow of chakra and tried not to cry. It was their color.
That night, a new item was put on the shrine. And that night Kenshin's vigor to protect Stone grew.

Kenshin trained in many different hand to hand combat styles. However, he never considered himself a master in it. He was always improving. However, recently, he started to get better with his movements. With his opening on chakra gates his movements became more fluid. It was just enough movement that he could add in a few more punches every second until his arms were a blur. It was then that he decided he was a master as his punches became so strong that the air from them hurt his foes and for everyone one punch others could throw, he could throw 4 times that much.

Kenshin had been a shinobi for many years. The fact that shinobi used poison was long known. In fact, before he started at the academy his great aunt would teach him about poisons. She grew many types of herbs in her gardens so it was important for anyone who worked in them to know what was safe to pick and what wasn’t. That garden was passed down among that family tree for generations so that people of the family would learn their herbs for medicinal properties and if needed “toxicology” for lack of a better term.
Since coming to Leaf, Kenshin had a new problem to deal with. His pupils would occasionally find something growing what it should not. This would mean rushing kids to the hospital or the school nurse. Kesnhin hated doing it in part of his disdain for medical shinobi. He wanted to do it his way. And so Kenshin knew that sometimes if more than 2 jutsu were fuse together, a new jutsu was formed. His explosion and crystal jutsu were evidence of that. Could poison be like this? Would that even count?
Kenshin began the long practice of training with ninjutsu. He tried different combinations and nothing seemed to work. He was, however, inspired, when a student accidently used wind jutsu near a bottle of window cleaner. Kenshin had accidently inhaled and he felt the solution hit his nose and enter his mouth. He began coughing and sputtering, getting his students out of the classroom in a hurry. He made sure they were ok and sent a few of the more serious cases to the school nurse. As the air cleared, he still felt his throat, nose, and eyes burning… yes burning.
That night, Kenshin stayed up late practicing. First, he tried using fire jutsu with a little wind. He almost set his eyebrows on fire. No no. That wasn’t it. It was a more subtle burning. And it was in the air so. He focused on wind with a little fire. He got a flamethrower type effect that would have set someone else’s eyebrows on fire if he was training with someone else. Less fire. More the burning feel of it.
It was well into the night before Kenshin produced a single droplet of a thick black substance that hissed as it hit the air and evaporated. Kenshin made the mistake of inhaling some it and promptly threw up.
The good news was that he found a new style of juts. The bad news was that he got no sleep that night.

5 Elemental Illusion FireKenshin's body was used to fighting and reacting on a moment's notice. Since he was not even a student, he had to endure "surprise attacks" form his great aunt who liked to test his reflexes. The spindly old lady would appear in the most random of places almost as if she showed up instantly and scare Kenshin. Then again, she had been a professional spy in her day. Not a shinobi because she used no chakra but Kenshin swore that he saw her use hand signs one time. Since then, Kenshin had always been on alert. It served him well during taijutsu training and it make him just fast enough to react a little quicker. In missions, it had saved his life. So even though he had the occasional nightmare about his great aunt to this day, she did teach him a good lesson. Swiftness wins. WC 146
