Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Knock Knock The Third

(OOC: Allowing Junko to leave and Kyojin to enter)

There were a few things in life one didn't do or say around Tetsu. You don't insult their lives, you don't threaten their lives and you don't, and one cannot stress this enough, you don't just come out and say someone in the family was dead without the culprit being there as tribute. How stupid could someone be. The Isaki clan being as prideful that they were got that way due to their sense of family and not turning ones back on the family. Without the sense of family, there was no sense of pride. Tetsu didn't move as his eyes, hidden by darkened eye sockets widened in disbelief as to what was told. Luckily the armor showed no emotion from his obviously pissed off face. They killed the one he worshipped as a God. A man none the less that Tetsu knew to be dead at some point, but not yet, not when there was too much on the line. Not when he needed his skill and guidance.

Tetsu looked to the ground, calming himself before he blew up on the group of shinobi from cloud that had assembled. Like they would be enough to do anything... How pitiful and mistaken they were if they thought they were relevant. His ego was in check and back in place. He got rid of his sorrow due to that's not what Hoshikata would want him to do. One day they would all pay. All of them that breathed the same air as Hoshikata. Tetsu muttered to Osore the best he could in the Ancient tongue of their clan. "Vlos zhah ssrigg'luoth." He cursed himself for not knowing more and being able to actually hold a conversation with him in the Iskai language. As the fury and anger subsided in his head he forgot that Osore knew the Mizugo Language. He could speak that fluently and so could Osore, even with the pain it caused him. "Ni ne bezonos lukto nun. Sed se ni ne ricevas omaĝon Mi ne konceptas elturniĝon ĉi kie ni ne atingi kion ni devas. Ili mortigis lin finfine." He used the language with a perfect accent which would make it very easy for Osore to understand what he was saying. Why he was struggling to use a language he was sure he was butchering he didn't know. However this would be easier for now. He didn't want to talk openly about these things. If they somehow knew Mizugo.... well then he guessed the cat was out of the bag, but he doubted it.

Tetsu was calm and collected now as he analyzed things. He stood there with his metal armor covering from head to toe with his arms crossed. He spoke nothing to Nanami, though he appreciated the support she was giving them. He would make sure she was rewarded. He remembered she had a question, He would help her gain that answer if it was possible.

Mizugo Translation so there isn't a misinterperation: We do not need a fight right now. But if we do not receive tribute I don't foresee a way out of this where we do not get what we are due. They did kill him after all.

Naikishin listened and observed everything that had happened, though having learned that Hoshikata was dead, though he didn't completely know how to feel about it. He would look over to Shi for a second before looking over at Tetsu who had spoken in Mizugo. He would cross his arms as he waited to see how the villagers would react to having been told that they would be getting the one who killed Hoshikata as well.

It seemed like there was more people arriving to another scene. How much time had he spent at these gates? Who knew anymore, to be honest Yuuto was giving up hope of fixing his errors and was just now serving his time. In due time these things would come to pass but until such a time he would just exist. Simply like this moment.

Who knew maybe it was nostalgia, or maybe it was the pangs of wanting to help Cloud still. He saw people gathering to a location at the gates, it was clear something was brewing. If he wanted he could just tap into the radio but out of respect of his exile he chose not to.

Yuuto was going to be a stalwart guard until he was told he could not... Pfft he'd probably give them the finger and still go about his business until he was arrested or something ridiculous. He would just stride to them waving silently, and assuming a position with his hands behind his back. He was only here to observe and to guard. Simple... as... that.

The man tapped his glasses again, settling them as his eyes skimmed across his surroundings, the air was growing tense.
It seemed like everyone was expecting something to happen.
"Alright, we'll arrange for transportation, with a carriage if need be, and naturally clean him up." His eyes looked to the woman whom mentioned the coffin and cart.

He took a quick and deep breath.
>"Unfortunately the last request is a bit tricky, as the full circumstances of his death is still being researched.." He paused for a second, letting it sink in.
>"All I can say is that he was involved in an internal matter. Once we have it all cleared out, we will send a messenger to inform you of everything you might need to know."
>"I'm sorry that we cannot give you all that you seek. Please accept our apology and sincere remorse for your loss." He said as he settled his glasses again on the bridge of his nose as he held an apologetic and saddened look upon his face.

>"Is this arrangement acceptable to you?" He didn't seem too shaken as he posed the last question, he seemed more serious than before. Like he was hoping for a specific answer, but was ready for whatever might come if it didn't turn out as he was hoping, with everyone currently around them, he wasn't completely oblivious to the scene..

He posed the question before he raised his hand to his earbud and dialing the small apparatus to the right channel, in preparation to call the right services to clean up and move the body of Hoshikata.
The little girl, his daughter had been looking up at her dad as he was talking, and now had her eyes rested on the armored front man, clearly leading the group.

[OOC Council NPC]

And another arrived, Osore's helmeted head rising to look at him for a moment waving at them before snapping back to the older gentleman. He spoke, but the words were not for those of Cloud. ”Tlu kr'athin, nindol xal inbau nempori ka nind ser inbauin lodias ulu jous phor 'whol nau sanrr.'” It was hopefully not going to happen but if it did he'd prefer they know about it. But now the older man was once more speaking, and it was not something pleasant.

An internal matter to Cloud cost him the life of his mentor, and the clan its true leader...and he thought a platitude would cover it. Osore stares at the man for some time, no words coming from him as he tries to control his anger. He looks down at the girl once more before back up to the man, growling.

”No, but luckily for you I have orders. Bring him. Offer no more empty words. I have lost more than blood today. Your village cost me a friend and you refuse to allow me justice. I shall take his body home, but until that body gets here you will remain as well.” Again the hiss as more fluid filled his mouth and he swallowed. He was speaking too much, his vocal cords aching from the scarring. And he could feel more cold seeping in from his cracked gauntlets.

His dad would be mad about the cost of repairing that, Tenken would be mad about Hoshikata being dead. Of the two, Tenken would be the most pleasant to deal with.

Chapter 9: Gates of HellAct 1: Stepping onto Megiddo

While one of her demands would be met, the second demand was met with a typical answer a politician would give. This didn't really amuse the Isaki sell-sword as typical answers are quite typical. And then the man 'expresses his remorse' for the loss of Isaki Hoshikata. Curling her lip upon hearing that, she rolled her eyes. She knew immediately that the man didn't give a crap about the person they are here to retrieve. Why would he? Isaki Hoshikata meant nothing to these people, but the fact that they seem to be hiding behind crocodile tears makes it even more insulting. Good thing Nanami wasn't part of this clan, otherwise things would have gone sour for the councilman and his child fast.

Turning to notice Osore speaking, she didn't understand the language spoken by the man at first. She heard him speak it the last time they were at the gates when Mr. Lipreader approached them at the gates while they were recovering Aimi. Demanding the person who killed Hoshikata was a reasonable request. But the councilor made excuses, excuses that he wouldn't divulge to the rest of the group. She walked over towards Osore and placed a hand upon his elbow, being that his shoulders were too high up to grasp onto. Walking around the man, she turned to look towards the councilor for a moment and then to his daughter for a moment. A smile came from her lips before turning her eyes upwards to the man.

"If someone killed your daughter, you would want justice for her death, would you not?" she asked. "You would do anything to take vengeance for the scum that killed her. So why wouldn't you offer the Isaki clan the same justice?" she asked after Osore spoke to the councilor. Not that she would go as far killing the councilor's child or inflicting bodily harm to the child, but the situation is still very similar. Regardless of if the person in question was a child or the leader of a clan. A loved one is still a loved one. "Unless, of course, you wouldn't mind procedure getting in the way of your justice," she asked, tilting her head back for a brief moment, allowing her hair to fall back over her back.

Removing her arms from Osore's elbow, using it as a post to swing around, she turned her eyes behind the group to see a man unknown to them following behind Golem-san. The new man piqued at her interest as she released Osore and walked by Tetsu, tapping him on the shoulder as if signalling him to come with her. Her eyes turned to Mr Golem and with a big smile and a big wave, she welcomed the man to their presence. This was, however, but a facade. Though, it was quite subtle and wasn't easy to detect that she was only using this as a ruse to get closer to the new person. "Took you long enough, Mr. Golem," she said as she jumped up into the man's arms to give him a nice tight hug. She whispered into his ear. "Go to Osore. No questions, do it now," she whispered into his ear.

After releasing Golem-san, she salutes the man for a moment before turning to look towards Yuuto for a moment and bowed to the man. This, too, was a ruse. "Welcome to the Cloud Gates!" she said before saluting the man. "Unfortunately, these people aren't letting anyone through the gates so you'll be stuck with us out here," she said with a pause. "In the cold."

What was this ridiculous farce? From what Kyojin understood, the group was stopped, likely told they were not allowed into village and that Hoshikata's body would be bought to them. But the worst thing was how the councilman softskin produced what sounded excuses, the honeyed words of a politician. The softskin reminded him of an ancient Kroc saying, a man of words and not of deeds is like a garden full of weeds. If the Cloud village was so lax as to allow a guest to die in part of their "internal matter", then they were not much of a village at all. Hoshikata would not have gone down quietly, Kyojin knew that much at least. The councilman softskin apologized as if the death was an unfortunate accident but recognizing the difference from a homicide and an accident surely cannot be all that difficult. The body would have to be seen first. 'Is this arrangement acceptable to you?' Ha. Of course it was not. Kyojin wouldn't trust their messenger. He would rather get Hoshikata's body and leave this disrespectful village. Something fishy was going on and he didn't like it... but that was just him.

Kyojin would have been just fine standing right there but Nanami came to him and hugged him, only to whisper words into his ear. She then walked up to the last person who showed up. Kyojin did nothing about that person because he saw no reason to. What threat was the stranger? None. Best let Nanami handle it.

Still, Kyojin slowly walked forward to stand at Osore's side and the seven foot tall giant looked at the councilman with indifference. To be told a member of your family is dead and the Cloud are still "investigating" his death... possibly months after it happened... was just wrong. If his memory served, Hoshikata "disappeared" for about a year. Very odd indeed. After this silly farce he shall never grace the entrance of Cloud ever again, unless a job required it.

Kyojin did not need words, his presence said enough.

Sitting in the office, reading the body language and lips of those speaking he shook his head.

Really... a group of people seemed to expect to have all their claims met. They had no fucking idea as to what had happened and yet they were throwing the words of the council back into their faces? Yes they had lost a family member and yes that would naturally create a level of anxiety, but to assume that words were empty, and then to state as much was just rude and obnoxious. He could understand it from maybe one of them, but it seemed that all of the reactions so far fit this category.

Perhaps they were simply a family of assholes.

The one who hadn't spoken previously was also now speaking. An interesting development.

One of the girls made mention that if someone killed the councillors daughter wouldn't they want justice... what they were asking for wasn't justice. What they were asking for was a lamb for the slaughter. Her words were just plain unreasonable. Yes, chances would be that the councilman would want that. But in the end the law of Kumogakure would be what would decide that murderer's fate, not his whim, not his personal will. Thus her words simply made her look like some kind of moron.

Yuuto and another had decided to come across to the conversation. The other seemed to look disapprovingly at the whole thing. Akira wondered what he was thinking, but for him to be effectively looking the way he was chances were his thoughts were on the same level as the others.

Ignorance. Surely someone amongst them knew just how glaringly ignorant they were being? Akira couldn't help but hope that there might be one amongst them who was capable of questioning, capable of reason and thought and that they weren't all simply lambs who would jump to the first and most immediate conclusion that was presented to them.

[Edit: OOC: Sorry for any confusion here. When I created Akira Hyuuga were able to use Byakugan as an X-Ray. I've been told that this may not be the case anymore? If this is so could someone let me know so that I can go about applying for a CRPJ to have this work the way I've been roleplaying it work for 8 years, and the way that Karubin has been roleplaying it for however long he's been on the site for. If this is misinformation then just ignore this note. Cheers. No trolling/metagaming is intended.]

(OOC: refer to picture on previous page for how tetsu looks or refer to avatar)

Unfortunately for Nanami, the cold was an issue for her. However, for Tetsu in his metal suit, he was quite cozy and toasty warm. He had small vents up near his shoulders to let out any air. Just small slits in the metal suit that if anyone looked at them, they would think it was part of the design of the suit for aesthetic purposes, not a working function of the suit. Nanami tapped Tetsu on the shoulder and saw her go and run up to someone, he personally, had never met before. Someone like Nanami he figured, another person hired by the Isaki clan for some purpose to another, but he was just speculating as whatever the leader of the clan decides is up to them. He had thought about it a few times, attempting to take over the clan himself or become an adviser. But that would limit Tetsu to his personal goals and limiting them wouldn't be any fun and would just bring the young Isaki a miserable life. Not that he minded politics, he was actually quite good at the game, but he'd rather just have things his way with no opposition. He followed Nanami to go talk to the other stranger, the second person she was talking to. He seemed like an interesting one himself and wondered who exactly he was. He wore no obvious mark making him a Kumogakure shinobi. Was he a Mist refugee seeking safe haven inside of Cloud? If so did he know that the Isaki clan had pretty much control over moon country, while keeping the political parties in charge. They didn't own the country but in Tetsu's mind, they should have, not that his thoughts on the topic changed anything.

He stayed silent as he watched over Nanami, making sure the new comer didn't pull anything over on her (referring to Yuuto). He just wanted to fulfill the orders set by the clan and get out of here. He wasn't in the mood for their political bullshit today.

A raised eyebrow at his 'empty words' comment, was all the reaction that came from the older gentleman.
He sighed "I completely understand, Isaki-san. I will make the preperations, shouldn't take too long."

Clicking the button on his earpiece he called the on-staff doctors in the morgue to prepare and bring force the body of the deceased Isaki Hoshikata.
After finishing giving the order the young woman approached and pondered a question at him, and in some way also his daughter.

His daughter whimpered and hid behind his leg out of blatant fear from the woman's question and her staring.
Before replying he got down on one knee and whispered a few words to her, and proceeded to left her up, holding her close to his chest, she wasn't more than a few years old.
"Excuse me, madam, but you don't seem to understand how the laws of Kumogakure work. What you speak of is clear vengeance, not justice. While I understand you have clearly other customs, please respect the customs of other civilizations, yes, I would clearly be upset, angry, beyond grief. But the laws and customs that make us what we are must still be followed. Even though personal vendettas and anger paints a different picture. I would not back down from proper justification, but still accept what constrictions there are depending on the circumstances. And this is quite a unique circumstance." He wanted to continue preaching, he wanted to verbally explain everything he firmly believed in, what traditions he followed, the laws the village functioned under, his life's work. But he digressed. He didn't wish to insult unnecessarily even though he felt insulted by her words, even so much as scaring his daughter the way she did.
----

It took a few minutes for the carriage to arrive, pulled by two fairly short, but strong horses. (Read Icelandic Horses - Strong in winter and cold climates and perfect for walking in mountain landscapes)
A group of 3 Kumogakure Shinobi walked beside the carriage, one looked a little young with a slight darker complexion than the others, resembling more of a native Misty than one of Cloud.

The young Shinobi walked over the Councilman, and whispered a few words to him as he placed down his daughter who quickly tugged behind his pants and held onto his jacket again.
The Councilman turned over the young man to face the group, holding his hand on his shoulder, and with a proud look upon his face.
"This man has just volunteered as the messenger once we have more information on this whole ordeal. Don't worry, he should make us all proud, he only recently became a full fledged Kumo Shinobi and wants to help better the relationship between the refugees in Cloud and those finding themselves scattered across all four corners of the world."
Both of them looked proud at the minor announcement as the carriage and reins of the horses were handed to whoever grasped them from the two Shinobi standing.

As the reins were delivered the Shinobi stepped back and watched with care on the visitor's next actions.
The Young Shinobi took his placed next to his comrades as well.

"Now, was there anything else?" The Councillor asked, with a confident smile.
"If not, I would like to bid you goodnight and wish you safe travels down the mountain side. You will hear from us soon enough."

They waited, Nanami's words going largely waved away by the other. Osore was not a man of flowery words and legality. If someone killed this man's daughter he would not sit there while another organization decided if they would even punish one of their own based on the murder of a foreigner that could easily be used as a patsy. He would send all the forces of hell after the murderer if he had that capability. And he sat there asking them to wait, not because it was right but because it suited his village best. Osore was not an idiot, he knew how things worked, he just didn't like to play the games these people did.

As the body was pulled up, Osore lifts the edge of the coffin and looks in at the visage of his mentor, changed so drastically from what he remembered. But according to Tenken this is what Hoshikata looked like at their last meeting. Still, some things do not change. Osore lifts the corpse's wrists and moves to shield what he does next from the others. A simple bit of pressure here and a touch of power there and the tattoos on the corpse's wrist glow a deep blue very briefly. He puts the arms down and goes to an ear, checking the back of it for a certain scar he'd put there during a training bout.

A few more checks and he was convinced that they either had a thorough fake or the real thing. Osore puts the lid back on the coffin and turns to face the man who did the talking, the placating. The man who would prefer inaction to justice. ”Not about customs. All we know is he died here, you did not say how and refuse to let us kill the one who did it. You did not correct me that someone murdered him, and you did not say the murderer is already dead. Hoshikata was not simple, he does not fight and it be private. You knew of fight. You knew who. And they live! My family, my family dead but your fighter not! And you ask if anything else?” A loud hiss sounds as the fluid feeds into him again, numbing his throat to the extended damage he was putting it under.

”Yes, there is something else.” He speaks again after a moment for his throat to stop hurting so bad that he reverted once more to gorilla speak. ”You. Come and tell our new leader how my cousin died. Unlike your village, the Isaki clan do not murder their guests and sweep the mess under a carpet.”

(OOC: You were told correctly. You cannot use it for X ray vision. And a crpj for such would likely be voided or denied. Also, you're probab;y not able to read Osore's lips considering: Wall, snow, darkness, helmet and a tube in his mouth blocking most of it.)

He looked as the man in armor checked his cousin in the casket. "You'll understand we did our own autopsy to decipher the circumstances of his demise, but our Medical Staff is highly talented in cleaning up after themselves, except for certain divisions." (OOC: Referring to how the Harvesters operate; letting the ANBU do the cleaning..)

Hearing him out after the check-up he listened closely, with a slightly raised eyebrow at his manner of speech, hearing the difference from how he spoke before with simple sentences, and now sounding completely different.

"I understand your frustrations, I truly do, Isaki-san. But as we are not entirely certain on the full circumstances of what occurred on his death we need time to investigate and fully understand the full situation. There is more at stake here than your family lineage I'm afraid. Many angles to consider in the whole situation. We lost people just as much you did, fathers and daughters." He didn't wish to divulge the last bit of information, but he felt it was appropriate to stem the anger and thickness in the air.

After considering his demand for a second, he responded with a firm look upon his face, ready to face a bull on a rampage.
"Fine, I will come, myself." He nodded in agreement, fully understanding his reasoning for wanting that. Maybe they wanted someone to blame, and to kill if they didn't like the result. But if that was the clan's decision, so be it. He wasn't one to dive out of harms way if it were politics. War was a different matter for him entirely, better to avoid it all in the first place.
"You have my word, Isaki-san." He reached his hand forward in preparation for a handshake.

[OOC Council NPC]

Osore wasn't worried about the autopsy, he was aware that the body was probably messed with in some manner. And he was confident in his own medical abilities to handle that, but he had been wrong before on that count. Instead he waited as the man spoke of frustrations, angles and whatnot. None of that mattered to the armor clad giant, this village did not rank important to his clan any further than the corpse sitting in a box behind him. It was a selfish attitude perhaps, but Osore was a machine of the clan in his own mind. He couldn't consider viewpoints besides the clan's own.

He reaches out and shakes the hand of the man before him, nodding. A measure of respect was just gained, and it would show in a slight shift in his bearing towards this man. ”Very well. Once you are ready, let's go.” The Isaki would wait patiently for the other to handle his affairs before leading the group, cloud council member included, back home.

"Excuse me?" After releasing his grip in the handshake he looked at the armored man with a curious glare.
"I was referring to me coming once we know all the details. Who did what, but fine. If that's the way you want to do this. Time will tell."

He reached for his earpiece and dialed another number. And called it.
"It seems the Isaki clan requires a full on explanation within limits I have volunteered to travel with them, with my escort and inform them of it all.
Tell my wife, I said 'hello.' Oh and feed my bird for me."
The message was sent to the ANBU com center to be delivered to the other Council members and their associates.
The village would be momentarily lacking one of their Council members and three Shinobi.
Two of which were ANBU, wearing masks.

He turned his gaze up to Kioku and nodded with an understanding gesture between the Council members.
His duty called.

"Kioku, I'll leave my daughter with you, please take her to her mother."
He then took a knee and looked dead straight at his daughter, whom at this point was crying her eyes out.
Wiping he tears he had a private moment with her, ending with a tight hug and a warm smile.

After which, he made his way with Osore, and the 3 Shinobi accompanying him on the journey.

Chapter 9: Gates of HellAct 1: Stepping onto Megiddo
"And I am Javert
Do not forget my name
Do not forget me
2-4-6-0-1
"

The woman curled one side of her lip downward, not amused by the answer of the terrible father before her. It was obvious that the man would give a politician-like answer in response to her query. A typical answer from a typical man. Not considering human-urges nor considering rage from a child, his child's, metaphoric death. Figures the man would let an institution get between true justice. Since when did people, shinobi, consider organized justice over revenge anyway? This man was obviously not a shinobi. Shinobi should be ruled by shinobi and not bourgeois elitists like this man. Shinobi should lead shinobi, not people who do not understand how shinobi lead their lives. Rolling her eyes at the man, her eyes fixated upon a cabin in the distance.

Her eyes fixated on that point for a brief moment, just completely and utterly staring at the 'office' where a man was peeking through, able to see through the armor of 2 of her compatriots and through heavy clothing, in a snowstorm, at midnight. If Saito was able to see her through the building and through the blanched white snow-storm and the darkness of night, he would see her completely staring deep into his eyes. Did she know someone was in there? Nope. But she did feel a presence gawking at the group. Perhaps it was just her imagination or perhaps she might be on to something. Either way, she did this without knowing the full details of what's going on.

Suddenly, a carriage was brought forward only for Osore to quickly inspect the body. "You may wish to do a blood test on the body. They could have switched the body with a double," she said in a haughty tone. She wasn't very convinced that these people were telling the full truth and that a cover-up was the most-likely scenario. However, that didn't necessarily bother her as she wasn't getting paid to fight their battles; but it is mainly her own conviction and her own subtle distrust of this village (which compound further and further with every visit) that caused her to think this. This shouldn't be confused with paranoia; considering the two walk a fine line at times, this wasn't one of them.

Either way, her lack of interaction with Yuuto was a bummer. Having sat there waiting for him to respond, Nanami tapped Tetsu on the shoulder once more and moved towards the carriage. Hopping onto the thing, she took the reins and slapped the horses with the reins, forcing them to move forward. Her eyes remained on Yuuto for a moment, not trusting the man. "Hop on, everyone," she said to everyone besides the vegetable just taking up space (Yuuto). Once everyone gets on, she rides off.

Naikishin listened and watched everything that had happened throughout the entire time they had spent at the gates of Kumogakure for the third time. He would look over at Shi and noticed that he stood up, which he would sit on Shi's back as the two followed everyone else who was on a horse.

[Topic Left]

Well.

That was quite the delicate situation. Surely Isaki outrage was understandable, but it mattered not. What is done is done and the winds of fate says it was time to leave. Kyojin had kept his word to Isaki Shokia and accompanied Osore. The coldness of this country reminded him of his frozen Kirigakure thus of Namazu Kyojin, but he was Kyojin of the Kroc no more. He was now Araya Akaya. The Lone Wanderer. The Vagabond. Companion of the Isaki.

Throughout the whole thing, Kyojin's face remained in indifference as the councilman softskin spoke of law and as Osore turned to leave, the giant followed. The councilman's words rang truth mayhap but he too should consider the viewpoint of the Isaki. The best thing to do now was take the hand, leave this country and give Hoshikata a proper burial. Hoshikata was... different, but a king or beggar, he deserved a proper burial all the same.

And now Akaya followed his companions, putting behind this miserable cold that he could not feel.

[Topic left]

They didn't get what they had come for completely. Yes they came here for Hoshikata, which they got, dead. They came here to retrieve anyone that might have killed him. Failed... but got a hostage instead for now... in a sense. Osore was right when he spoke. He wouldn't come to harm for being a guest within the Isaki clan. He would answer the questions brought up by the leader (Tenken) and then be sent on his way back to cloud. Tetsu nodded to Nanami as she patted him on the shoulder as she was ready to go. She was an interesting girl. Definitely not his type, but he liked having her around. He would definitely consider her a friend... which said a lot sense Tetsu hated the human kind. Most of them, besides Isaki's, were pitiful people and had no pride in their status. Though one could guess as much from how he conducts himself as if he was sitting on a high golden thrown looking down on everyone. Only thing to make it more comical would be if he was only five foot tall.

[topic left w/ group]

(OOC: just getting back from a small vacation. Don't mind the short post)

Kioku remained silent, his eyes going from each arrogant member of the Isaki clan to another. He wouldn't judge them on their words and actions right after one of their own was revealed to be dead to them. However, their troubling words did stick in his mind.

But such was the life they lived in. An age where violence was paramount and the people of the earth suffered for it. Here and now Kioku was now in charge of taking a young girl home, because people held mistrust in their heart.

Man was a wicked being, and Kioku prayed often that men across the world would see the light of peace. But until that day, he would stand as her arbiter and protect the innocent of the earth.

[Topic left with His daughter]

The councilors and the other group were dispersing. It was good that no violence had occurred, they didn't need more of that at this time. It seemed that the councilor was willing to travel with the group to inform the Isaki family of what had happened, or at least what was known to have happened at this time. The investigation had only really just begun, questioning of those involved all that had really happened and some preliminary decisions made.

Akira was aware of the procedures taking place, but at this time knew nothing of what was being said or done.

It would be something he would stick his nose into sooner rather than later however.
