Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The "Throne of Bone" stood as a titan of engineering and tradition. The massive structure, carved from the gargantuan remains of a desert sand worm, gleamed with a polished, sand-toned luster. Banners of the Toraono clan snapped in the dry wind, hanging just below the proud symbols of Sunagakure. It was a place of high discipline and military precision, a stronghold meant to forge the next generation of desert elite.

The heavy doors groaned as they were pushed aside, admitting a duo that looked like they had been spat out of a nightmare. Yuuto stepped onto the glossy floors, his four arms folded in pairs. His presence was heavy, a suffocating aura of biological mastery and hidden intent. Every step he took resonated against the hollow, bone-like foundations of the hall. He didn't look like a student. He looked like a creature walking into a sanctuary, not that it was anything new to these people.

Close at his heel, Tennō followed with a predatory, low-slung gait. The silver-furred simian scanned the rafters with all six of its eyes, its breath a rhythmic, wet huff. The armored pants Yuuto had fitted onto the beast clanked softly with every movement, the metal plates providing a strange, modern contrast to the ancient feel of the bone dojo. They reached the center of the primary training floor, a wide expanse of polished wood surrounded by weapon racks and training dummies.

A few students and instructors paused their routines, their eyes wide as they took in the four-armed puppeteer and his chimera. The air in the room grew cold, the usual sounds of wooden swords and heavy breathing dying away into a sharp silence.

Yuuto didn't say a word.

He reached into the folds of his cloak with a lower right hand and pulled out a simple wooden sign. With a deliberate, forceful motion, he drove the base of the sign into a small crevice in the flooring, letting it stand upright and unyielding.

The ink on the wood was thick and black. The message was unmistakable.

OPEN CHALLENGE

Yuuto stood behind the sign, his four arms crossed as he settled into a broad, relaxed stance. He didn't look for a master or demand an audience. He simply waited, his eyes fixed on the entrance to the inner sanctum where the Toraono elders resided. Beside him, Tennō sat back on his haunches. The beast let out a low, vibrating growl that rattled the nearby weapon racks. Its six eyes settled on the nearest group of shinobi, tracking their movements with a terrifying, singular focus.

Yuuto smirked, his teeth bared in a silent invitation.

"I heard this was the place to find the best the village has to offer," Yuuto’s voice carried through the hollow hall, echoing off the bone walls. "I’m here to see if the rumors are true."

The gauntlet had been thrown. Now, he only had to wait and see who was brave enough to pick it up

I wasn't looking for trouble when I walked into the Throne of Bone.

Well, that's a lie. I'm always looking for trouble. But I wasn't specifically seeking it out this time—I was just passing through, still riding the high from the guitar lesson with Kureji the night before, my fingers still sore from practicing chords until they bled.

But then I saw the crowd gathering, heard the whispers, felt that familiar electric tension in the air that meant someone was about to get their ass kicked.

And there, standing in the middle of the training floor like he owned the place, was some four-armed freak with a sign that read "OPEN CHALLENGE."

"Oh, you've got to be fucking kidding me," I muttered, pushing through the gathered students and instructors who were all standing around gawking like idiots.

The guy had a chimera with him—six eyes, silver fur, armored pants that looked ridiculous and "terrifying" at the same time. The beast was growling, tracking everyone's movements with predatory focus that made my skin prickle with recognition.

I knew that look. I used to be that look.

I walked right up to the center of the floor, my boots clicking against the polished wood with deliberate, measured steps. I stopped a few meters away from the sign, close enough to be confrontational, far enough to have room to move if this went sideways.

"So let me get this straight," I said, my voice cutting through the tense silence like a knife. "You walk into the Toraono Dojo—a place literally built from the corpse of a desert titan—plant a sign in the floor like you're claiming territory, and expect what exactly? That everyone's gonna line up to kiss your ass and tell you how scary you are?"

I crossed my arms over my chest, my gaze moving from the four-armed puppeteer to his chimera and back again.

"Because from where I'm standing, you look like some bitch who's trying way too hard to be intimidating. Four arms? Really? What, two wasn't enough for you? Had to go full tarantula to feel special?"

I could feel the stares from the gathered crowd, the sharp intake of breath from some of the students who probably thought I was insane for talking to this guy like this.

They weren't wrong.

"And your pet there," I gestured at Tennō with a dismissive wave, "cute pants. Really ties the whole 'I'm a terrifying monster' aesthetic together. Did you dress him yourself, or does he have a stylist?"

My smile was all teeth, nothing friendly about it.

"You want to see if the rumors are true? You want to find out if this place has the best the village has to offer?"

I took a step closer, my hands dropping to my sides, loose and ready.

"Then you picked the right day, four-arms. Because I'm Chikamatsu Kohana—former rage demon, current pain in everyone's ass, and the only person in this entire fucking dojo who's apparently got the balls to tell you that your dramatic entrance was about as subtle as a sandstorm in a teacup."

I rolled my shoulders, feeling that familiar anticipation building in my chest—the kind that used to make Shin lock me down with seals and prayers.

"So here's how this is gonna go. You can stand there looking all ominous and mysterious, or you can actually do something worth the space you're taking up. Because right now? You're just another little punk ass with a pet and an attitude problem."

I cracked my knuckles, the sound echoing through the hollow hall.

"And I eat punk ass bitches like you for breakfast."

'The Sun's Fist'
He didnt know how long it has been but he was certain that he and Kobi would be able to track the being. Kobi, a pangolin by species, was Ryuni's new companion. Someone that he was training with and learning about the extent of his new powers. Something that he would have to find out through Yamashiro Texts... and maybe something to do about talking things out with Lord Takeru. At any pace, Ryuni had been tracking down the man that was found in the Red light district upon this moving plane he'd called Sunagakure. Someone had made a mess of the place, and he would surely have to send off for the Kazekage to let him know the extent of the damage. And the Renmei would help fix it becase they had helped in the destruction... or so Ryuni would state. Certainly the man with four arms would have to take the majority of the pay... and what else o the cyborg... android... that was there staring. Hell, the guitarist too! There was so many things he would have to find answers for...

But first...

His search would lead him to the Dojo. The Toraono Dojo. This place was a beacon of battle. The Toraono Clan, a major beast in the wheels that turned Suna... a clan that looked down on his own. 'Hm... Damn Demon Felines.' though he paused catching himself in thought. His sensei and team leader was Kyuji... winner of the world tournament. Someone that Ryuni wanted to respect, but she seemed to have an obsession of sweets. Maybe that was her secret. The thoughtlessness of it all, being able to relax in the fleeting time they all had. The ability to indulge in gluttony, or was it his own jealous nature that made him look at the world around him as he did? Who would ever be able to answer that aside from Ryuni, a boy that wasnt looking for answers within but to find out how he could fit his piece in this elaborate puzzle of life.

But here...

He would stand at the threshold of the Dojo, a wide arena, awaiting hopeful and future warriors. Those of great prowess, and even those who were meek and showed their mental ferver. '...Where is-...' it didnt take much scanning for him to find him... but yet he was not alone. Ryuni would find himself watching the woman from behind as she berated the man. 'Open... challenge?' he would think. 'Oi... guess I made it on time.' a shake of his head and a crossing of his arms the boy would find himself into the clearing. His body, short, but taller than he'd been. Now standing at about 5'0" tall, still quite short for his age but there was something going on in is body, and the heat would be expanding his limbs making himself even more flexible than he'd been previously.

"...Is it breakfast already?" Ryuni would blurt out, "Here I thought... is was dinner time... Or maybe that was just daddy ringing the dinner bell~" he'd hiss out, his words causing smoke to spew from his mouth as he spoke. Wearing his red and black gi, his attire was kept, even with his poor social stature. Moving into the clearing further Ryuni would continue, "So... You come into the village and destroy a huge chunk of the red light district, and that damn monkey muntant, nearly snuffed me out. I want... My get back." a frown forming from his downwardly curling lips, "So... whomever you are." looking at Kohana, "Get in the back of the line... cause I've bucko here has some 'splaining to do..." a swirl of flame would form as he woudl step forward towards Yuuto. The Yamashiro Step. Something that was subtle, but it was the initiation of battle. It was time for the Flames of Suna to emerge.

[OOC: Hey hey This will be fun no?]

Kureji would walk around. He had already fought Machoman but even then he still wanted more. Is he a battle junkie? Maybe. But he found himself walking in and seeing three familiar people. Kohana, Kureji's face would turn red as he walked up and smiled at her. Brother, whom he gave a bro hug along with his monkey friend, whom he patted on the head. And fire punchy boy who he waved to.

"We having a party? I'm down to clown." He would merely say, chaotic energies already forming around him.

Yuuto didn’t respond to Kohana’s rant right away. Instead, he slowly raised one of his upper hands to his mouth and let out a long, theatrical yawn. He looked her up and down with a gaze that suggested she was more of a persistent, noisy fly than a "rage demon."

"That’s a lot of noise for such a small flower," Yuuto said, his smirk sharpening until his serrated teeth caught the light. "Are you here to fight, or just to audition for a play?"

He turned his attention slightly as Ryuni stepped forward, the air around the boy shimmering with heat. Yuuto let out a dry, patronizing chuckle.

"Look at that, Tennō. You’ve even got a fan club now. I’m surprised the brat can even stand after the last time."

Beside him, Tennō erupted. The simian chimera let out a hacking, rhythmic sound that was unmistakably a laugh. The beast pointed a clawed finger directly at Ryuni, then pointed at the polished floorboards before making a theatrical, slow falling motion with its hand. It was a wordless mockery of the boy’s previous defeat.

The tense atmosphere broke for a moment as Kureji wandered in, radiating his usual chaotic energy.

"Brother!" Yuuto’s cold mask slipped, replaced by a brief, genuine grin.

As the rocker drew close, Yuuto used three of his arms to pull Kureji into a massive, bone-crushing "bro-hug," lifting the man slightly off the floor. He noticed the way Kureji’s face reddened at the sight of Kohana, but he didn't offer a tease. He simply gave his friend a firm, grounding pat on the back.

However, even as three of his arms embraced Kureji, his fourth arm, the lower left, snaked out to the side. He extended his middle finger directly toward Kohana’s face, holding it perfectly still while he finished his greeting. Once Kureji stepped back, the warmth evaporated. Yuuto’s eyes went cold as he focused on the two challengers.

"Too many words," Yuuto said, his voice dropping into a dangerous rumble. "Not enough squabbles."

He squared his feet, his weight shifting as he dropped into a complex, practiced stance. One hand rose to his face, palm out. A second remained poised above his head like a coiled cobra. His third arm extended a closed fist low to the ground, the knuckles white as chakra threads connected to Tenrai. His fourth hand reached out toward the pair, his palm turning upward in a slow, insulting beckon.

Beside him, Tennō mirrored the aggression. The beast dropped into a low, predatory crouch, the armored plates on its legs clanking against the wood as its claws dug in. Black static energy began to spark through its silver fur.

Yuuto’s smirk returned, cold and unforgiving.

"Let's go, brats. Show me what you've got."

Kureji would feel the hug as he would hug Yuuto back and once he was set down, he would pat Tennō on the head before a thought hit him. "Ah shit, hey." He would look at Kohana, "Kohana, this is Brother, Brother this is.... ermmm.... Kohana...." He would smile and blush as he would introduce Kohana.

And then he would gesture to Ryuni. "Oh, and this is fire punchy kid."

It would seem that his brother would be readying for a fight. Kureji would smile, chuckling to himself as more chaotic energies would swirl around him.

Flames emerged from around the Yamashiro, as he would hear the being speak. It would seem there were going to be two enemies for this bout but there were tactics that he would have to consider. It would behoove the young man to watch Kureji, the guitarist that was also seen at the Red light District that day. 'So... I will be having to watch him too... Maybe the girl will be able to serve as a help. Hopefully she can back up her words.' he'd think before feeling the heat continue to rise around him.

"So it seems there is a disadvantage for myself, Im just the 'fire punchy kid', well lets see how the punches land." Ryuni would snarkly spit out with his golden hues glaring about. Looking then back to Yuuto and his Monkey companion. "So... First its that damn Monkey. Then I'll focus on you two... Got it?" he'd growl out. His voice wasnt angry, he was just focused. Laser focused. He had pride in his home and he had pride within himself, and the preparations would have to be made to ensure that he and his village would be respected. He was merely a Genin but he woud fight with the pride of the highest ranking shinobi of the village and that went without question. His heart burned as bright as the Sunan Sun. And his fists were blazing hot with the fiery passion of the Yamashiro clan. He was poised...

but... still a reckless kid.

Or maybe he would fight like a seasoned veteran.

Who knew....

fuck you yuuto. <3

Didn't read Divinity's Edge, Yuuto's Actions were detailing the passives he was getting, not denoting entering a style. This slight change made quite a few different things go off.

This made Voltaic Shot to actually go off like intended; though it didn't pop the suppression. And allowed Yuuto to finish the rest of what he wanted.

Also added an additonal AP to Ryuni. Gate of Wonder affect base AP, which allows Ryuni to get to 12 AP.

Forgot Kureji's Cursed Alignment damage

The training ground transformed in a heartbeat, surrendered to the manifesting will of Masaru Yuuto. He moved with a practiced, terrifying fluidity, his four hands weaving an intricate sequence of seals before slamming his palms into the stone. A summoning array flared beneath him, and from the jagged ink of the seal erupted the massive, ethereal head of a shadow-wrought bull. From its nostrils, a torrential surge of purple flames billowed outward, forming a towering, circular arena that cut the world in two.

This was Kagutsuchi’s Stage, a cursed variant of the Ring of Fire born from Yuuto’s own lingering beliefs. The violet walls did not burn with heat, but with a metaphysical weight; a boundary that acted as a bridge between the physical and the psychological. It was an arena that demanded intent. To pass through the flickering purple curtain required a conscious decision to engage, effectively isolating the combatants while keeping the young Kohana safely beyond the threshold of the carnage to come.

[Creating CRPJ, Cursed Jutsu - Kagutsuchi's Stage: A variant of Ring of Fire with that was built upon the lingering cursed belief of Masaru Yuuto, symbolized by its Purple Flames. This ring has been stripped of the ability to deal damage and restrain people by force. It allows free entry/exitt to those who make the decision to go through the flames. However it will keep out those separated from what's inside unless they make the choice to enter the field] - Giving IC reason for why Kohana is not in this fight.]

As the violet light bathed the dojo, only Kureji and Ryuni stood within the circle. Yuuto did not waste time with pleasantries. With a flick of his wrists, he summoned the dual anchors of his collection: Kusanagi and the Yata-Kagami.

The spear and the shield hovered in his service, extensions of his own formidable chakra. A visage of shimmering heat began to rise from Yuuto’s skin, his genetic manipulation kicking into high gear as he circulated his cursed energy. The air around him blurred, casting him as a shifting, predatory ghost of a man. The silence broke when Kureji lunged. Yuuto felt the sharp, sudden sting of a foreign toxin entering his system, a bold opening move that earned a dark, appreciative smirk from the Masaru.

"Paying the favor in kind, then?" Yuuto mused, his voice humming with a dangerous vibration.

Kusanagi lashed out with a vicious kick to drive Kureji back, creating the necessary distance for the next movement. The puppet’s arm snapped up, its blade glowing with a chilling, magenta-colored chakra that felt fundamentally wrong. It was cold, cursed, and heavy. Electricity began to arc across the gauntlet, and with a series of precise slashes, Kusanagi unleashed a Voltaic Shot. The projectiles tore through the air like jagged lightning, aimed directly at the musician who had dared to poison him.

The resulting explosion sent a shockwave rattling through the dojo, but the boy was fast. Kureji vanished in a blur of a Body Switch, reappearing near Tennō to unleash a blistering combination of spear-hand strikes and heavy blows. The simian took the brunt of the assault, reeling under the unexpected ferocity. Yuuto watched the display with a raised brow, the excitement in his golden eyes sharpening.

"You are pretty good, kid!" he called out, his voice cracking with a rare, genuine thrill. But the battlefield was far from stable. Kureji was weaving more auditory tricks, and Yuuto could feel a subtle, obscure power sinking into the room. His own mind felt the phantom weight of the abyss as he summoned a dark, ethereal stallion to the field. The creature lagged, a slight delay in the master’s commands signaling that his brother’s interference was taking root.

Yuuto commanded Kusanagi to elevate its blade, sending a hail of poisoned chakra needles toward the legs of his opponents. The elemental converter in the puppet's gauntlet hissed as it transformed toxin canisters into lethal projectiles. He could see the poison beginning to take hold, but the coordination of his team was fraying. Tennō became frustrated by the illusions and the constant pressure, he began to snarl in a blind, unguided rage, slamming his fists into the ground.

The betrayal came in a cloud of silver dust. Tennō, caught in the grip of a manipulation he couldn't comprehend, turned his aggression toward his own master. Yuuto felt the presence of several projectiles coming at him from all directions. He effortlessly dodged most of them, wiping his chest off from the one that actually did hit him. His simian friend look

"Betrayal, eh, Brother?" Yuuto called out to Kureji and laughed, though the sound was tight. He couldn't prove it, but the tactic smelled of his own brand of psychological warfare. "How did he hit both of us? All he was doing was... Oh, right. Music." For a fleeting second, the old chimera’s greed flared; he missed the absolute control over sound he once possessed. But he suppressed the urge to covet, focusing instead on the reality of the fight. He leaped backward, dropping into a defensive stance while holding his artifact Tenrai, the weapon connected to his arms by fine chakra threads. It was a variation of his puppetry designed for a near-impenetrable guard.

"Now, now, Suna! This is what I am talking about!" He pointed a finger toward Ryuni, who was still wreathed in his own brilliant flames. "I like you, Flame Boy! Good spirit!" Yuuto gave a swift thumbs-up before resetting into a readied stance, his third eye scanning the field as Tennō struggled to regain his senses beside him. The stage was set, and the heat was only rising.

Kureji would summon his guitar into his hand with a simple thought. Reality bent around his hands until the guitar appeared. In less than even a split second, he would press a button on the side of his guitar that shot tendrils out at Yuuto. It would hit, leaving a spectacular explosion. Kureji would let out a laugh. That is, until a very comically timed event happened. As soon as the puppet tendrils came back, he seen that there were some explosive notes on it. Almost as if to say return to Sender, even though it isn't even his. Another explosion happened right after and as he got back up, he would realize that he has ninja wire restraining the movement of his arms.

Kureji would see what looks to be lightning shoot across the arena and hit him square in the chest. He would laugh hysterically as he struggled to keep standing on his two feet. "I've got to see what you can do Brother! Your power is amazing!"

Poison needles would shoot out at his legs and while he was still good standing, he could definitely feel that his legs have several fractured bones. Any normal person would probably cry out in pain. Kureji? He gave an award winning smile as he would chuckle to himself through the pain. Don't get him wrong. He surely feels the pain and it hurts like hell. But he also doesn't really care due to how messed up his own mind really is.

He felt the familiar sting of poison from that attack, something that no doubt attacks his body that he doesn't really understand. But he'll play along. His fingers would fly through the chords on his guitar as he would weave his chakra into the music, causing genjutsu to take hold of whoever of his choosing. The boy seemed to only care for the monkey as of right now. Kureji on the other hand. Wanted to see how his Brother would react to just a small bit of chaos that he has going on.

His Brother would take note of one of the genjutsus that was used on him. Kureji would smile, smart guy. But how would he deal with many more things that will be to come that Kureji has in mind, he wonders. Pulling out three scrolls and tossing them up into the air, chakra threads would extend out and three simultaneous poofs and a Teddy bear, drum set, and a whole freaking Grand Piano appeared on the battlefield. The Teddy Bear was situated in between both instruments as it would impressively play both the drums and piano at the same time.

The seal on Ryuni's forehead would pulse from behind his headband, but Ryuni didn't know why. As he would flex his chakra, he could feel a prick from under the surface. A pulse. Something just under his skin. Something there that he hadn't really noticed before, but now... now that he felt his chakra coursing through his core and around his body, he would sense it. Growing. Connected to his very soul. '...What... that's the seal my father put on me...' he would keep it covered, and hadn't even been to the hospital, mostly because he had Kobi to heal his wounds without the need of the hospital's resources. He wondered though, for a long time what would become of it. He would definitely have to tell his teammates when he would get sent out to Tsumugu's place... Maybe he would raid the kitchen a good bit.

Now, he stood here looking to the Monkey and then feeling the electricity of the guitar Kureji would begin to play. HIs heart pounded with anticipation and as he would begin to focus himself, he felt his eyes begin to pulse and they would glow a bright amber. Smoke... began to seep from his nostrils and mouth. The boy would clench his teeth shut and the ash would continue to creep out. "CHAAAA!" he'd suddenly yell as he'd crash forward into Tenno drawing his hand back and spearing it forward as it would slam into the monkey. His combination attack though ended up missing. His movements were frantic; his body was moving too fast for his mind to keep up with. Entirely faster than anything he'd been able to accomplish prior to this day.

'Shit! Slow down Ryu... Slow... Down...' and as his attack would finish, Yuuto would go into action, and needles would begin to spray about. 'Shoot!' and they would all land home.... something felt off but he didnt know what. This would definitely have to be something he would watch out for. He couldnt quite put his finger on it. The gears in Ryuni's head would begin to turn but he was too unfocused to gather his thoughts.

'...I need Kobi...'

Ryuni felt himself spiraling a bit, and even more chakra would begin to pour from the seal pulsing from his forehead. He could see everything. Like his vision was wide and the chakra being drawn around him focusing within a single point around him. The fire that surrounded them would make the boy feel like he was causing it but... Ryuni knew this wasn't his chakra. It was Yuuto's.

"Tch! MY NAME IS YAMASHIRO RYUNI! AND YOU WILL REMEMBER MY NAME!"
