Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.
Yeah, Kureji was still messing around. He transformed into Tenno, just in hopes that he would get his Brother to accidentally smack his monkey friend. But it was all for naught as Yuuto had summoned his own puppet version and smacked him with it. He had a wide smile on his face, which turned to confusion as the fire punchy kid had an amazing fire aura that surrounded him, something that was so fierce that it clashed against his own chaotic energies.
"Wow. Now that's badass." The rock star would comment. He would focus on making some hand seals as the two puppet fusions would dance in the sky as they would try to home in on their respective targets. Once he finished his own hand seals and casted Ring of Fire around Ryuni, himself, and tried to get Yuuto and failed he looked at the boy. Well, he might as well try something that he has had an idea of. That is, until an... He doesn't know really what animal it is, he hasn't really studied wildlife before to be picky at what's what. Either way, it talked. TALKED. And had said something about if the fight goes on, the boy would die. Kureji would cock his head to the side and scratch it.
The hell it means the boy will die? This was just a spar, not a death match, last time he checked. While they all are going blow for blow, they weren't aiming to kill. His brother, seemed to be leagues above both him and fire punchy boy, but it has been obvious that he has been going easy on them both up to this point.
But he didn't have much time to think as the boy would charge at him and unleash a series of attacks that he managed to only dodge a few. But even with him now focused on the boy, Kureji felt another shot ring off and hit him in his shoulder, frost quickly spreading as he let his body move on its own to dodge another shot but left him vulnerable for another to his him.
The rocker would focus chakra into his music once more. But it would be a tad bit of a genjutsu that either Yuuto or Ryuni are used to. He would form the Rasen-shuriken and launch it at both of them. However, it would only be in their minds that the technique was launched. It would not do as much damage as an actual one, but it would wreck their chakra systems, not like it would matter much. A silver cloud of sharp metal bits would fly over to the rocker as he dodged and weaved to be hit by some of it but he was alright all things considered.
Once everything had calmed down, Kureji looked around and seen Fire punchy boy on the ground knocked out. Now he may not be a medical professional, but he thinks the kid may have overdone it. He would instantly cancel out all of his maintaining techniques and wipe some of the free flowing blood coming out of his body and press his bloodied hand on the ground. In a poof of smoke, Aya, his Kami summon appeared.
She was apparently lounging writing her own songs for the Kami realm. "Sup Kureji." She would say before looking over at the kid, "What happened here?"
He would scratch his head, "I don't entirely know. I just know that you're good with medical jutsu to help save his life."
She would roll her eyes and get to work on casting high end medical jutsus to try and help stabilize him. "There's only so much I can do." She would say as she scanned over the boy. "I can heal most of his injuries but the most concerning one is his heart. It is in a dangerous condition that will need more precise care than any medical jutsu can offer."
"So what, he needs true loves first kiss? If so, I'm out. I already have my happily ever after." Kureji would say. But even after he said it, he would think about Kohana. Last night... And he saw her today, in which she was so ready to fight his Brother only to disappear... He feels that she is now just avoiding him now... Well.... Now he can't do much with that right now...
Aya smacked him upside the head, "Baka." She would say, "He'll most likely need a new heart."
So whilst he is still bleeding out, he would sit down next to the boy and rummage through the boy's pockets until he found a headset. It was a little charred around the edges but still seemed to work. He would pause. No doubt that fingers would be pointed at both him and his brother. And it'll be a pain to deal with. But there will be more accusation thrown their way if they didn't try any which way to save the boy.
He took a deep breath, why can't things ever be simple. He tapped the headset. "Yo. This thing on? We're at the Toraono Dojo and were sparring. Some kid just randomly caught on fire and now his heart is broken. In a physical way, not figuratively... Well maybe figuratively, dunno nothing about his personal life. But if he does have a true love for a happily ever after, they can come too along with some super professional medical ninja. Cuz like... Bro needs a new heart I guess."
With that said, he would set the headset on the boy and leaned back. Damn.... Blood loss kinda sucks. He was fading in and out of consciousness when Aya would then focus on him and heal his injuries. "I'm sure you're going to get an earfull from whoever is coming."
"Well it's not as bad as the Crater City incident." He would laugh.
"You were reckless then. The Hokage was only so lenient to you since you saved the one kid that didn't evacuate the area." Aya would say as she tended to the unconscious boy.
That was the condition, and yet, Kureji's opening move was to resort to a Transformation jutsu. In a way, it was a major letdown. Yuuto had held a quiet hope that there was more to this mere genin level trick, so he kept his gaze sharp, watching as the chaotic rocker attempted to scramble his senses. Kureji tried to blend into the ruckus, attempting to become a replacement for Tenno. Surprisingly, the transformation was effective enough that Yuuto could not distinguish the true simian from the fraud immediately. Luckily for him, the henge jutsu suffered a misstep, a stutter in the chakra flow that granted Yuuto the upper hand in awareness.
Between the lingering mental strain of the last Genjutsu summon and the frantic chaos on the field, he figured his opponents would be slightly dazed. He decided to take his time, summoning his own Puppet fusion to dominate the space. Yasakani, Kanabo, and Rai-Bachi shattered their seals and broke free. Puppet limbs split apart and reconfigured, clicking and locking into a massive new structure. It was a colossal frame of metal and reinforced wood, equipped with two giant arms that looked capable of crushing boulders. The creation swung a heavy, sweeping blow at Kureji, swiping away the transformation. Good, Kureji won't be able to hide forever... Yuuto thought to himself. Or so he believed, literally, until Kureji mirrored his own tactics and unleashed a Flock of Shadows.
Touché.
Yuuto could not find it in himself to be angry at such blatant self-preservation. He too was prepared to dodge a move if the situation called for it. However, his only true intention in this moment was to stop anything from restricting his movements. He wanted to savor this moment, this absolute peak of combat. He felt that surely, finally, he would be able to go the distance. He was just about to prepare his next strike when a sudden, suffocating weight of chakra splintered the air. Yuuto did not see the source immediately, as his focus was locked on Kureji. However, he smelled it. The singed, heavy scent of charred and burning flesh began to saturate the air, permeating his nostrils. He turned his gaze toward the boy.
Ryuni was being engulfed by his own flames. The heat was not merely surrounding him; it was burrowing into his very skin and bursting forth from his pores. It only took a matter of seconds, but to Yuuto, it felt like an eternity as he watched the boy’s body burn while he screamed in agony.
The moment stretched far longer than it should have. Internally, Yuuto felt a deep sense of disturbance for the child. In all his years, he had never seen a transformation this brutal in someone so young. The boy's body was burned to a crisp, looking entirely molten, as if the blood in his veins had been replaced by liquid magma. Yuuto could not help but feel a pang of sympathy for the child. This had clearly gone too far. Though no one had prompted this child to get involved in what they called "grown folk's business", this was the tragic folly of power in the Shinobi world. It was the result of children tampering with forbidden arts they had no true understanding of. Sunagakure was proving that while it was free, it was also a reckless place. It bred people like Ryuni who would go to such devastating lengths over mere provocation. Yet for some reason he respected him. In a way, others would call this foolishness, but Yuuto knew what this truly was. This was a warrior's pride.
His suspicions were confirmed as Ryuni took no time to blaze past Yuuto's vision. He was a streak of incinerating heat, appearing before him in a flash and raining his fist down toward the ground. Yuuto avoided the attack by the narrowest margin. He was forced to use three of his palms and a bundle of chakra threads just to throw off the trajectory of Ryuni's blow. It felt as if the boy was moved slightly without being touched, as if Yuuto were interacting with the very air displaced by the strike. Looking at the fresh crater in the ground, Yuuto realized that, to be frank, he had almost been clobbered.
That boy... He is a true fighter through and through.
Yuuto watched as all three fighters backed off from one another. Kureji had not made another move yet, and Ryuni seemed to be struggling with the recoil of his own terrible power. Yuuto then noticed the boy's rodent, Kobi, trying to do something. It tried to manifest a green palm of medical jutsu, a sight Yuuto was all too familiar with. Though he had been forced into the life of an Anbu Sennin, he was always a Medical Ninja first at heart. That was a fundamental part of him that would likely never change. Though he did not adopt the soft, weak-hearted approach of medics who had never seen the front lines of a war, he was likely one of Kumogakure's most talented combat medics in existence.
Unfortunately, the healing effort was cut off as Kureji summoned a ring of fire. The flames bled around them, creating a barrier. It was as if Kureji was copying Yuuto bar for bar at this point. He heard the summon's pleas; the boy was bound to die without immediate assistance. Although Yuuto was not familiar with the specifics of this forbidden technique, he knew it was lethal all the same. He waited for the flames to wrap around him, but they did not. They stopped right before his feet. Either this was a mistake, or it was entirely intentional. Yuuto figured Kureji was either trying to cut them off from their summons or he was trying to protect himself while attacking Yuuto from a position of safety.
But...
There was something about this moment that caused his expression to darken. His visage became grave. Yuuto was, for lack of better words, pissed. He bit his lip forcefully until the copper taste of blood filled his mouth.
"How dare you!" he roared.
He was unable to hold back the outburst. While he normally tried to stay calm, cool, and collected, keeping his theatrics measured, this was a moment of pure disrespect. Yuuto was a warrior. Though a medic, he was also a bringer of death. He would just as easily heal you as he would kill you. He thrived on combat and adversity. This was supposed to be a free for all. One person could not even get past his flames, one person was taking him for a fool and mistaking his kindness for weakness, and the other was focusing on him and his monkey. He had been getting jumped from all angles, and though he did ask for a fight, this was not the quality he expected.
Beyond his pride, a boy's life was on the line. They needed to end this. Yuuto sent his puppet fusion through the fire to attack Kureji, but the Ring of Fire was too potent. The puppet could not penetrate the flames to deliver a strike. Kureji had truly saved himself in a smart ploy, but it was not the condition they had set for this encounter. Even to the end, he would have to deal with this psycho just doing whatever he pleased to his battlefield.
"Enough..." Yuuto grumbled to himself.
He had played long enough. "Tenno... Go ape shit."
Tenno smiled, smirking at finally being told to fight with every ounce of his strength. First, Yuuto opened both his palms, summoning Kagami and Kusanagi to his side. He channeled his chakra through them, powering up their attacks while cursed energy flowed through their frames. Both puppets combined their arms, acting as a catalyst as a solid needle of chakra took on the elemental properties of ice. The chakra needle frosted over as ice infected every inch of the structure. It became solid, chilling, and still cursed. He fired off both shots at his spiritual brother and the boy who had piqued his interest.
They were both struck magnificently. This gave Tenno the opening he needed to fire off a combustive shot. His power pole was wreathed in flames as the black pillar struck Ryuni and his rodent summon. The poor creature was not even trying to fight. Kureji was barely able to dodge the brunt of it. Tenno was more pissed off at the Ring of Fire than Yuuto was. As if embroiled in a primal rage, the monkey flung itself over the fire to fire off another shot with its pole. This time, instead of throwing it and using faux chakra threads to pull it back, he used the threads to force the pole to bend to his will. It expanded and grew larger, as if it were summoning more mass from within its own core. Tenno pushed forward and cracked Ryuni with the massive weight of the weapon.
The boy would surely have been suppressed right then and there, but Tenno did something that went beyond Yuuto's expectations. The pole was buried under Ryuni, but before the boy could even hit the ground, Tenno pulled him back up. Ryuni and the monkey seemed to acknowledge one another in that split second. As Ryuni began forming pressure and power, he released a destructive blow. It was something so magnificent that it caused Yuuto to blurt out:
"WHAT THE FU—"
Yuuto started to scream until his voice was cut short by the incoming Rasen Shuriken from Kureji. A mass of wind and chakra swirled, expanding on contact and catching Yuuto in the radius. He was barely able to avoid the full destruction, but the damage was done. Yuuto had been tricked. He had been hindered by things outside of his control. He had been made a fool of. Now, when the two sides of his nature were already raging against one another, he had been blindsided. He was boiling now. He was about to blow. He laid there on the ground for a moment, looking up at the sky with his head clear for the first time in a long time.
Without a single word, Yuuto picked himself up off the ground. He had no time for jokes, no time for someone else's insanity, and he had even less time for his pride. He needed to bring this battle to a close. Ryuni would clearly keep fighting in the flames until he smoldered out if no one stopped this.
The four-armed puppeteer ran forward, weaving handseals in a blur. He was positive that this was not going to be his greatest idea, but at the same time, if he did not do something, no one would. He stood just outside of the Ring of Fire and unleashed one of the strongest ninjutsu in his arsenal. A massive pressure of heat and chakra began to build up in his hands. The space around him became arid, as if he were sucking the moisture out of the very air itself. The ring of fire even provided additional heat, giving him a clear line of sight on both of his targets.
"Scorch Release: Amplifier jutsu!"
He released a massive wave of heat, blasting both Kureji and Ryuni. Dust billowed in response, obscuring the vision of all within the Kagutsutchi's Stage. Everyone within the purple ring of fire was hidden in the rising shroud of dust. As it finally settled, Kureji would see Yuuto approaching him. Yuuto's body was wreathed in the flames of the ring while heat rolled off his skin in shimmering waves. His gaze on Kureji was bleak, grave, and almost murderous. He looked as if he were poised to go for another strike. But instead, he simply spoke.
"This battle is finished... unless you want to keep going toe to toe with me right here."
Normally, he would have waited for a brother's response. However, in this moment, the answer did not matter. He began walking away shortly after, as there was another person who needed his help more. If Kureji wanted to see how far Yuuto would go, he had the perfect chance, as Yuuto's back was wide open and his guard was completely down. It would probably be the last chance in this encounter for Kureji to get a hit off. Otherwise, this would be tantamount to surrender. Although Yuuto did not take Kureji as being overly prideful, he knew the man was just a little off his rocker. No pun intended.
The Anbu Sennin visage began to fade as Yuuto started performing more handseals. The battle had just finished, and yet he was not done here. Not even close. It would seem Kureji knew what the deal was at this point, since he summoned something to act as a faux Medical shinobi. The creature or whatever it was, just made a rash assessment saying Ryuni would need a new heart. Without even trying how could this thing be sure?
"Move aside or be torn asunder you stain." Yuuto said to Kureji's summon. There was no kindness in his words. No game. This was the most serious they would see Yuuto as he could not care for some thing getting in his way. He had enough of these fake gods and their reapers. He was not about to be particularly kind to another one.
Another 10 seconds. No, 20 or 30. I have to make this count, for all its worth.
He stopped in front of Kobi the rodent. "Hey, your master's chakra hasn't run out yet. That is why you're still here. If you care about this boy in any way, you will help me here."
Yuuto slammed his palm into the ground and summoned a Medical Assistant. A featureless clone appeared. It was purely white and solid. He did not have time to care about the aesthetic features; he just needed a body on the field. Yuuto then looked at Tenno. "Hey, this boy? He satisfied you more than anyone besides me. Forget who you think you are and focus on who you once were. If you can do that, I expect to see you by my side."
Though Tenno would not remember this, back when he was simply a pet named Kento, he was Yuuto's on-demand medical staff. He was the tool that helped Yuuto perform medical assistance on the battlefield. He was banking on the monkey remembering their training. It was not too often that a student and their pet learned directly from the Medical Sennin.
Yuuto held his hands out. "Prep."
The Medical Assistant began sanitizing his hands with medical chakra. He would need to make sure that Ryuni's body was safe from any contamination. Saving his life would be the trickiest part of this entire endeavor. He knelt down next to Ryuni and began observing the boy's body. The flames had stopped, but the damage was catastrophic. Third-degree burns, sprained legs, profuse bleeding, and worst of all, Yuuto placed two fingers on his chest. Ryuni's heart barely had a pulse. In fact, it was losing its pulse quickly. His heart was dying, becoming useless. Tenno stood by, kneeling on the ground and being patient for the first time since his revival, watching his master work while he processed the scene.
"What the hell did you do to yourself, boy?"
Yuuto could only lament out loud. He started treating the boy immediately; he had no time to waste. First, he used Anesthetic Infusion to put the boy under. Ryuni was likely unconscious due to shock, but he still required care, and Yuuto did not want him waking up in the middle of a surgery. Yuuto looked at the boy's legs. They were sprained, but the frost had melted off of them from the heat. Was it a good thing that the boy had literally set himself on fire in that regard? He shook his head. The boy had caused himself so much damage just to prove a point.
Yuuto then had his medical servant use Coagulation and Skeletal Fortification on Ryuni. It attempted to fortify the bones in his legs, mending them back into shape though they had not settled yet. The leaking blood began to slow and congeal, as if the wounds were being clogged to prevent any further seepage. Simultaneously, Yuuto took on the responsibility of the larger medical jutsu, using Regeneration on Ryuni first. The skin on his body slowly started to repair. It was a slow, arduous process in relation to the actual speed at which he was healing him. Despite it working within seconds, to Yuuto, this was far too slow and too weak. His cursed nature was getting in the way, as the chakra from his curses clashed with the medical chakra's inherent yang energies.
He was beginning to become frustrated. Not with Kureji, not with Ryuni, and not even with Tenno, but with himself. He was angry at his own weakness, feeling diluted by his quest for power. Finally, he was able to finish the regeneration jutsu. It had taken him nearly 3 seconds, far too long for his liking.
The bleeding stopped. The legs were fine for now. The burns were slowly fading. But the biggest issue remained. Now that Ryuni's body was no longer a smoldering mess, Yuuto could actually put his ear close to the boy’s chest. He used his Sound Ninjutsu to listen deep within the boy's body.
However, he heard nothing.
There was complete silence in Ryuni's body, or the murmur was so low that Yuuto could not catch it. Something was wrong with the heart. Despite the medical jutsu healing the exterior, the heart still had not thumped again.
"Shit... Tenno, hold him down."
Yuuto summoned a Chakra Scalpel, forming a small blade made of highly condensed, vibrating chakra. He used it to gently but forcefully slice into the boy's chest. Yuuto did not need to cut through the bone, so he cut around it, opening Ryuni's chest in the process. "Heal the areas away from where I am cutting. Do not lose the trace."
Whatever cellular material had not yet begun to degrade would be used to fortify the open wound. Now, with no interference, Yuuto was able to press his ear closer to Ryuni's actual heart. Even being this close, he heard nothing again. He placed his hand directly into the wound, and then he summoned every ounce of power he could to cast the Angelic Blessing ninjutsu, one of the strongest medical jutsus in recorded history.
However, there was nothing. No reaction from the heart. Though the innards and the flesh around the chest became vibrant with life, the heart would not thump. Not even once. Panic set in, followed by a deep worry, for the boy was clinically dead. Yuuto's eyes darkened. His expression became more grave than when he was fighting. For the first time in a long time, he had no immediate answer.
Boy... he going... cold... sleep? Will... wake?
The words in his mind were not his own. The simian with all six eyes looked at Yuuto, pleading. These were Tenno's thoughts, the first time he had uttered anything telepathically with his master. Yuuto looked at Tenno, and the concern for Ryuni between them seemed to amplify. Yuuto grasped the bridge of his nose and held his hands out again to be sanitized by the medical assistant.
"No... no he is not going to die. Not here, not now. That much I promise you." He would turn his attention to the medical surgery staff, if Kobi had stayed and followed Yuuto's orders.
"Keep using Mystical Hand and Mystical Force on his heart. Alternate between eachother. Do not stop once."
He spoke to the medical servant and Kobi. He needed his instructions to be clear while he organized his thoughts. Yuuto looked at the boy one more time. What he had brewing in his mind would not be pretty, but it had a shot. It was more of a shot than reviving Tenno had been, and if Yuuto could do that, he could bring this boy back from the brink.
Without wasting any more time, he used a handseal for summoning. His puppet fusion stopped moving entirely. It opened its chest and shot an encased summoning scroll into the ground. This was one of Yuuto's special inventories. This was where he kept the creatures of his slain battles, preserved in fluids that kept them from degrading. It was a method he had been using since the Bear Marsh War. Yuuto weaved a sign and unlocked the case, allowing the summoning scroll to fall to the ground. He snatched it open and began unraveling the roll, making it stretch long enough to show over 30 different summoning seals. They were marked by different symbols, though the one he stopped on bore the symbol of four jewels, as if it were rating something of royal ancestry.
"Kuchiyose no jutsu!"
He roared and placed his hand on the seal, summoning forth the golden reptilian leg of a creature holding a blue orb in its talons. The orb radiated with divine energy, as if it had stored some kind of blessed chakra for a very long time. The scales on the leg sparkled and glittered, embroiled in gold plating with pearlescent skin underneath that seemed to radiate despite being cut off. Orange, slime-like fluid rolled off of it as Yuuto summoned it directly from its vat. It had been minutes, and the duo were still working desperately to keep Ryuni alive.
Yuuto looked down at his stomach. "We don't have time to waste."
He used the chakra scalpel and summoned Kusanagi by his side to assist with slicing the scaled leg apart, saving only the blue jewel. Yuuto took the mounds of glittering flesh with all four of his hands. He included the jewel that held that strange but benevolent energy, something that seemed to rival his own cursed energy completely. His mouth greedily gorged on the mounds of flesh, crunching through the glittered scales while his normal mouth took on smaller bits of the pure meat. He engorged himself on the creature's leg. However, as if a natural stigma, it burned his insides as he took it in. It felt like molten lava, excruciatingly painful as he consumed each bite while activating the genetic instability of the Chimera Technique to unravel the very DNA of this creature. He crushed the jewel with all four of his hands and poured the glittering dust into the torso-mouth of his Chimera technique.
He felt the foreign energy attack his body. The genetic instability began showing itself on him as well. Yuuto's body was genetically dying as it conflicted with the cursed genetic material he had taken in, clashing against what was clearly something divine. He fought to keep the process in balance. He could not lose consciousness, at least not here and not now. Yuuto grasped Kusanagi. "I apologize in advance, my treasure..."
As if to ease some of the pain, Yuuto began an energy transfer, sending all of the cursed chakra he could into the puppet. Its ability to retain chakra and convert it via Yuuto's engineering meant it could store this chakra, but Yuuto was pouring everything in. Kusanagi began to crack. Cursed chakra began seeping through its frame, pouring out of every crack until the puppet could no longer contain it and blew up. Shards of puppet pieces went flying. Tenno instinctively jumped in front of Ryuni and covered him, making sure nothing hit the boy.
"Good monkey..." Yuuto said haggardly.
He was barely able to muster the words. He began to drag himself up off the ground. His body had not stabilized, and if anyone saw him now, they would truly think he was a monster. His arms, skin, eyes, and features were all metamorphosing in front of everyone. What they would see was honestly up to their own brains and how they chose to process the sensory overload of Yuuto's true chimeric form. He did not care, though. At this point, there was only one thing that mattered to him. Yuuto brought his mutated husk of a body to Ryuni and looked at the boy. He smiled genuinely for the first time in a long while and spoke with a soft, warm tone.
"Yamashiro Ryuni...I am Masaru Yuuto, and I will never forget your name."
He did not know exactly what he was doing. He did not have a plan. He just knew that the divine properties of that creature were probably the only thing that could save Ryuni now. So without thinking, he summoned almost all the chakra he had left and unleashed what he thought would be another Angelic Blessing. Yet, what he did not know was how much more blessed this healing jutsu would truly become. Golden waves of chakra washed over Ryuni's body, flowing directly into his heart as the flesh around the open surgical incision began to heal and close. Yuuto was pouring everything he had, everything he was, into this technique.
In this moment, it was not about kindness. It was not about his pride as a medical shinobi.
It was not even about incurring the wrath of Sunagakure.
No, the only thing that mattered to Yuuto was saving a life.
Saving his life.
Thank you all for your time! Thread's not over but the fight is. GG gentleman it was a good bout.
However the obvious thing is Ryuni is technically dying Yuuto is about to make a huge sacrifice and change in orde to save his life. Apologies if I did way too much for this Kureji and didn't give you much room to get in. I left the end of Yuuto's attempt up to you and Ryuni on how you want to react to his attempt but I figured neither of you would mind and Ryuni told me to bring the heat.

Phylactery Genesis - A-Rank Medical Ninjutsu (1 point, 1 to rank up) Restriction- A-Rank and Up
In stories of old, there tells the tale of a man so terrified of death he embraced it in order to live on. Liches, they are called, beings of undead immortality that continue living in an unkillable body so long as their phylactery remains intact. It is unknown if the Celestial who first used this technique was a fan of the classics or if it was just an innate reaction of desperation. Using their immense holy tuned chakra, they can remove a bit of a person's soul away from their body for a moment. Should a deadly blow attempt to fell a Celestial's chosen while they hold onto that soul, it won't instead. Capable of keeping shinobi alive for far longer than they should be, some seek out these rare humans in order to learn this technique; but to date not a single one has been able to how they can preform this miracle.
Further Thoughts: Really want to say something, even though this started as a Bmod call and a chance for me to spar and punch people with puppets, I have gained so much from this RP! Due to the IC narrative, the results of combat, the things along the way, I am going to use my Chimera to change a BL to Celestial Heritage. Thank you Ryuni I haven't gotten to RP as a medical shinobi in almost 9 years. This was way more fun than I could have anticipated. Build be damned, this is so much fun. To anyone reading, always go with the IC and let it mold you. Trust, you can always figure out the build again.
Today was an ordinary shift at the Hospital yet again. After the past few days with the Clan Council meeting, helping the Kazekage teach a class and being promoted to the Medical Chief of the village again, I needed some normalcy in my life as I adapted back to society and being in the public eye after quite some time out of it. While being needed and recognized by my colleagues, students, and my old student was appreciated, I needed some time to myself as well to become accustomed to everything in the village again as the landscape, leadership and overall energy of the village had shifted since I last was truly involved in anything - it was years ago after the World Martial Arts Tournament in Tea Country and life had moved on as it always did. Yes, some normalcy would be appre---
Apparently, a normal day would not continue for me as my headset was going off as someone mentioned that a spar had occurred at the Toraono Dojo and someone had been severely injured from the description given of being set aflame and a heart broken. This seemed very dire as I threw off my medical garbs and changed back into the Byakko Clan standard of armor. People were used to seeing my clan wearing this as we were a part of the Toraono Clan - the protectors of the village - and I was not sure of what exactly I would be walking into as there was no indication of anything happening on the injured nor if anyone was in danger. Being at home did not feel well either as any sparring typically was not catastrophic as what was described to me. I was dashing through the village to get back home and likely shoving people out of the way by accident as I was focused on one thing - the call and taking care of whomever was injured.
It would take but a few minutes before I arrived to where the war had happened as I saw various parts of what seemed like a puppet scattered all over the place. Various summons were there as someone was attending to a body on the ground while another figure was a little bit away from the action. Immediately, I walked over to the body and knelt down beside the one administrating a strong medical technique along with his summons doing the routine Medical Hand or Mystical Force. Yes, I noticed the man's appearance and it was concerning how he looked, but duty came before judgments as we had a body laying here that needed attended to. Questioning could wait until later after the patient was stabilized with the unique looking individual and Kureji, the oddball that I met in the Hospital the other day and had to escort from the quiet room to a conference room where we engaged in a civilized, calm conversation with some bonding on handling the devil that was under both of our skins: Akkuma. It was nice to see him - would have been better if the circumstances were not dire.
When I eventually looked down at the unconscious boy, I sighed as I knew that face all too well - it was Yamashiro Ryuni, a Genin assigned to me in a squad with two other Genin. I would have a long talk with him after this about what happened and likely need to guide him down a better path than the one that he chose today if the communication from who I assumed was Kureji was anything to go by. I doubted he would fib about something serious like that. Fortunately, this stranger seemed to have been able to heal the majority of Ryuni's injuries as the body was slowly starting to breath again on its own. I would put my ear to his chest and I could feel a faint thump from his heart again which was a sigh of relief for me - I didn't need to lose another fellow shinobi especially one that had barely even lived his life yet.
"Thank you for attending to him" I would say to the stranger as I would through some handseals quickly placing a seal [Medical Warding Mastered] on Ryuni's chest as a safe measure since he would need time to recover and it was a safety precaution. I would go through a few more handseals and a large dome of restorative light [Pristine Aura Mastered] would cover everyone in the vicinity, slowly healing any wounds that they had and helping the attendees to my kouhai. "He is my responsibility as his sensei. Byakko Kyuji, that is my name."
I would then go through some more handseals to summon my own Medical Assistant that would begin to administer Mystical Hand on him while I maintained the barrier around everyone, knelt beside this stranger and Kureji in the distance likely watching and formulate something in that cranium of his.
His aim... was to be the coolest. The coolest in the-... Kami had no sympathy to forgive his cool young history as... wind wafted over the body silent quiet body as those would work around him trying to bring him back to a point to where he would just OPEN... HIS... EYES... but. He couldnt. His soul was so weak. Tired. But he wanted to be the coolest. The best. The one who was the hungriest. The most locked in. The one who could be relied upon to always give everything he had. Every ounce of his soul poured into every action he took. To bring the clans together. That was his dream. To be the Kazekage, a leader that people wanted to follow. Rooted in his convictions and the one person that would always own up to his decisions. Right or Wrong. Good or indifferent. He wanted to be the coolest in the...
Yet, Kami had no sympathy...
Externally. As they would work on him... Ryuni would descend. Gradually... his body was fixed. Yet how could a being that relied on such a vital organ to live with a useless one. It was impossible was it not? He wasnt a demi-god. He wasnt of the earth. He wasnt celestial. He didnt have some hidden secret to his abilities. He was a boy born with a brilliant light. A simple boy trying to navigate this life the best way with the powers he was granted. Human. Flesh. He could die, and was not immortal. Born in a world of beings that could fly. Sprouting wings, born with special eyes, and so many other things. Yet, he still wanted to strive to be a leader amongst those overwhelming odds.
He would dare to reach for the realm of the Gods. Dare to sit at the table and be treated as an equal. He wanted to be the coolest in the...
But and still, Kami had no sympathy...
Wtihin his mind, Ryuni would finally land on the floors of his mind, looking and gazing up to the light above. Dimming. He would reach up but something snapped his hands down. A hand? No. Tendrils of thick black goo. Drawing him into the ground below. Gripping him on his shoulders, pulling him into the black substance that was the consistency of quicksand, the more he would struggle and cry out, the more his body would be pulled down and his voice drowned out by the wails of the other woeful souls that were down in this abyss... Even with no words, his golden eyes would plead to the heavens. Why hadnt he had the sympathy of the ones above to reach out for everything that was expected in this life only to be thrust into an impossible situation. To dare think he would have a chance to be spoken in the same breath of the ones that had come before him? To dare be the coolest in the...
Would... Kami have sympathy?
It was simple. To become that he would have to survive this... right? How? The ones above working on him? Not them alone. Ryuni needed to push. He needed to believe. He had to truly want to become the things he said. Could he? Despite everything that would stand before him? Ryuni was a soldier. A pawn. Just another cog in the wheel of Sunagakure. Someone that would be moved and placed where he was needed. A face in the back of the grand display. However, did Ryuni believe that? Or did he dream for better... could he infact become everything he believed and stated he would become. Rika be damned, that he would become the Kage before her. The stand alone at the highest point!
Kami... PLEASE have sympathy!
Ryuni didnt need sympathy. . . He needed to believe. . .
Ryuni struggled still against everything that weighed him down. The flames of his useless heart beginning to burst forward. The thick goo that held him would move away from the heat! And with a daring cry out into the veil, he would push out! Moving himself upwards through the sunken place within his mind that dared take away everything he would work to have. Everything he would work to believe and to build. A new world. A new order that could not deny people like him. Those who would cast aside anyone who thought they were not worth it. Fuck the Gods if they felt they were better. And anyone who agreed with them would be treated the same. He knew he could rely on his strength. The strength of his friends. Family. His team. He had to push for them! Because in his absence... who would protect them?
Who would look after the poor and empoverished. The low and downtrotten.
He would reach with a flaming ambition to become... More than his station. He may be born low... but he would prove that anyone could come back from the darkness. And if you believed, and had those believing around you you could accomplish the works that could not and would not be denied. To the naysayers, and everyone that would try to place a foot upon the throat of the meek and the weak.... Eff them.
He would reach, building strength for one last push forward... until...
Kureji had generally no idea what was going on. He made no move to attack Yuuto, not out of fear, but out of respect. That, and he had no reason to keep going as he knows that the man before him was stronger than both him and the boy. The rock star was only good with genjutsu and ninjutsu. But otherwise, his brother had shown him that he was massively outclassed and any further fighting would involve him being knocked out as well.
He bit the bottom of his lip as Yuuto had insulted his summon. But he figured all of that could wait until the boy was out of the death zone. He didn't really know what to do other than play his guitar to a soft tune, audio medic, he summoned his teddy bear to also play some tunes, both not as good as what his brother was doing but should help to some degree. He focused the healing properties to wash over both Ryuni and Yuuto but kept Aya a distance away from Yuuto in case he decided to thrash out at her.
There is one thing that Kureji had caught from what Yuuto has said that he actually understood. 'What the hell did you do to yourself, boy." He looked over at the boy.... No.... It would be wrong to keep calling him that. What was his name....? Didn't he yell out his name during the fight? That's right... He did... Yamashiro Ryuni huh...? "Looks like you were successful in making me remember your name." He muttered to himself.
Looking at Yuuto transform before his very eyes, Kureji was impressed. Not much people could do such a thing without an immense sort of power, and he figured if anyone could do it, it would be his brother. But even though Kureji is no sensor ninja, he could tell that the man was pouring all of his chakra into healing Ryuni and that the aura around him even seemed to change. While Kureji wants to help his brother out, he knows that it would probably be in vain. His own chakra is cursed along with the chaotic energies that flow through him, there is no telling what would happen if he were to transfer his chakra into Yuuto
Then a familiar face appeared. Kyuji. The only person here that actually knows him. Albeit, it was because she was low key interrogating him, she had let him go. He half expected a sword in his face upon her coming and seeing Ryuni but it was the opposite. She would see to Ryuni first before going to heal both Yuuto and him. But even so, Kureji was focused on Ryuni. He didn't know that such latent powers were within a person let alone a young boy.
Finally, the boy would let out a gasp and Kureji would let out a deep breath. He didn't really know that he was holding his breath up until now. Now that he was supposedly out of the doors of death, Kureji wondered about how this even happened.
"So..." Kureji started, "I may be stupid.... But I am generally confused even though I was in the fight. I never seen what Ryuni had shown to do ever in my travels."
