Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"Get up." A stern tone rung through the small room they occupied, the rather large individual that spoke up taking a few steps forward. He was more than just a little bit imposing - tanned overtly muscular body covered in a torn white gi, his goliath stature practically towering over the girl that lay limp on the ground. She let a weak cough give way, but found herself unable to suck in another much-needed breath. As unaware as she was to the feeling of pain, that made the notion of suffocation no less pleasant. "Get. Up." He would only repeat himself once before she'd begin to feel the consequences of disobeying a direct order, palm planting itself firmly onto the ground before forcing herself to her knees. She was never even given an opportunity to reach her feet before a particularly solid knee met her face, which led to yet another meeting between her head and the equally-solid ground. She could only sense the metallic taste filling her mouth, her dazed attention scarcely catching another firmly barked order that she failed to recognize. After so many of these meetings, though, she already had an idea of what that order was, her muscles straining to lift herself again.

Bull's Strength
Judging the girl by her slender stature alone has been the downfall of many. Another small gathering of students would amass for what would yet again become a competition between the brash tomboy and another student foolish enough to clash heads with her. The boy was shorter, sure, but he was stockier and thicker, and armed with the misguided notion that he was the strongest potential candidate to become a full-fledged ninja in Sunagakure. The small audience watched in anticipation as his fingers slid beneath a moderately-sized boulder, tilting it upward onto it's side and rolling it over with moderate effort applied. By the time Mao was given a shot, their surroundings grew quiet again. Her hands gripped beneath the edge of the rock, lifting it to a similar tilt before daring to support it with the entirety of her arms. Moving down to one knee, her longer limbs flexed to provide leverage for the impressive weight, lifting her shoulders until the stone finally separated from the ground. Another clear victory caused a cocky grin to stretch across her lips.

Poison Resistance
The gardens her family mainly operated in was thick with exotic plants from the diverse lands they've traveled throughout their lifetime. While some existed in modern society for their beautiful appearance, others existed for more malicious purposes. For Mao, this was always a fine line that she found difficult to discern, as the most dangerous of flora were also some of the most alluring. It wasn't often she found herself in the garden alone. This was likely due to her lack of skill that the rest of her family possessed, which led her to come into contact with rash-inducing milkweed or unknowingly scraping an exposed limb over a bundle of mala mujer. No matter the case, she never seems to learn, accepting the consequence for the occasional lovely view.

Thick Blood
These meetings with the unspoken mentor often consist of more than one-sided brawls. The main focus was conditioning. She was already largely unaware of what injury may befall her, her body only needed to learn to cease from faulting her. Sword in hand, the imposing figure stood facing the smaller girl. A glint of light shone across the sharpened edge of the blade, swinging it forward with even force to slash downward at his target. Mao, with no weapon of her own, was forced to do anything she could to keep herself from being sliced in half. Faced with the very real danger, she was forced to learn what was taught of her, keeping her even footing where she crouched. Her hands clasped over either side of the blade before it could reach full impact with her body, successfully pushing it away from reaching any of her vital organs. After several rounds of this, small rivulets of blood trailed from her palms, the sanguine ichor hardening before having a chance of dripping to her feet.

"It won't work." Mao spoke between labored breaths. Across the modest, featureless room stood a domineering muscular man. His bulky arms crossed in front of his broad chest, holding a firm glare of disappointment at the girl. "Then force it to." He made it sound as if the student just decided against the training, rather than lack any capacity to perform up to his expectations. Mao huffed another deep breath, looking back down at the floor in front of her. The unworked stone looked almost dented, a small surface crack formed from where she had been repeatedly slamming her fist. Her right hand looked somewhat scuffed, but amazingly uninjured by the abuse. "I told you already." She growled. She was tired of his lackluster advice. Tired of her failure. Her teeth clenched, balling her hand into a fist tight enough to squeeze the color out of her fingers. "I can't do it!" The fist was lifted and dropped, swinging along with the crescendo of her anger. Her knuckles impacted the cracked floor beneath her, and the earth gave way to the sudden force, her fist sinking down into the ground.

A small tremor shook the room, a deep rumble rolling outward from the point of impact toward the man opposite of her. A single moment later, the ground cracked and split, a large spire of unworked stone rising and twisting into what looked to be of similar shape to that of her balled fist. After it rose, it curved, immediately arching down to crush the imposing man. And it did, the massive stone knuckles slamming down onto his head. There was a second of resistance, and then the sound of rock crumbling as his body was chipped away and crushed into rubble along with the makeshift instrument of destruction. Mao slowly removed her hand from the small crater she'd created, a much calmer breath exhaled in silence. After taking a moment to calm down, the man's large hand placed itself upon the girl's head, who had revealed to have been standing behind her this entire time. "Better."
