Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kiri felt a little embarrassed at being reprimanded by the wolf. The beast inside him only laughed at the scolding he got. Of course, Kiri had the tendency to look as if he was initiating a fight, but that was only because he was so easily agitated due to his own cursed beast inside him. He’ll have to remember in the future that he’ll have to be careful. Especially since he felt bad having to be on bad terms with this girl. Unlike the others, whom he may not have necessarily been social with, Komora was quite the curious type and he found her interesting. The last thing he wanted was to chase her away. So much for wanting to start anew.

“Yes, I’ll keep that in mind,” he said to Akio.

Soon enough, Komora went off on her own, entering a shop and seemingly causing a ruckus already. Akio and Shin were both of the mind to stay outside, something about it not being their responsibility. But when did it become his responsibility? He wasn’t even in to fashion but he supposed he knew what was acceptable and what was not.

Looking at Shin, he sighed, “You sure know how to escape from this.” Without waiting for a reply, Kiri would quickly enter the shop and apologize to the sales clerk, explaining how any food or clothes chosen would be paid for by her clan, or something to that line.

Glancing around, Kiri would then go towards Komora and put a hand on her head to get her attention. “Hey, why don’t we try getting you something to wear first, okay? After that I can entertain you,” he said before looking to the side and spotting something that seemed far better than those two-piece strappy things around the store, a nightgown with a frilly edge (though he would have no idea it's called that or what it's for) and then grabbed it before nudging Komora towards the nearest dressing area and prodded her with it, “Try this on, Komora. Think of it as a game. We can this if you can find at least three pieces of clothes. And then you’ll win over Akio, I suppose. Let me see you on this, okay?”

Komora grabbed the night gown from kiri and pulled it over her clothes that she was already wearing. The woman behind the counter blinked. “Oh honey you are certainly some work.” She leaned over the counter. “Chiko, can you help these two?” Another woman seemingly popped her out from behind several pairs of lingerie. “Huh, oh! Customers! Certainly.” Chiko was a beautiful who had legs for miles and a heavy chest. She was dressed in stylish clothing that opened at the chest and hinted at the fact that she wore the products of the store. She stepped over and looked at Kiri and Komora. “Hmm...” She looked them over with an appraising eye. “Helping your girlfriend buy lingerie I see?” She asked Kiri. She laughed at Komora. “Come on dear, you don’t need to be shy. Why don’t you try something that fits you?” She pulled the nightgown off of her. She gave Komora an appraising eye and pulled out a measuring tape from her apron. “Arms up.”

She lifted up Komora’s arms and measured around her chest, waist and hips. “Maybe something petite would fit? Sorry dear, you’ll have to go for cute instead of racey - come back when your figure fills out.” She dragged both Kiri and Komora to another portion of the store. Most of the stuff here seemed more like Komora’s size. The woman took Komora’s arm and gauged the color of her skin against several garments. “Okay why don’t we try some of these on?” She stuffed an armful of women’s underwear onto Kiri. She then pulled a lacey top and a bottom and handed it over to Komora.

“Why don’t you try it on dear?” When Komora just looked back and forth between Kiri and Chiko, the woman’s smile widened. “If you’re shy you don’t have to show your boyfriend… yet.” She guided Komora over to a changing room. “Just go in here, put it on and see if you like them.” She led Komora into the room and shut the door behind her. Chiko just smiled at Kiri. “You both are pretty bold coming into a Lingerie store at your age. Your girlfriend seems really shy, so I have to commend you. Not even men are brave enough to set foot into our store.”

Meanwhile, outside of the store. Akio awkwardly scratched his ear with his hind leg. "So...why don't you tell me about how you know Komora in a little more detail?"

Shin briefly smirked at the boy comment, watching as he began to mediate the situation. He continued leaning on the wall as he listened to the different forces speak. It seemed as though some of the workers had noticed the two and were proceeding to help them. Though, oddly enough it sounded like thought of them to be a couple? I suppose their ages must have seemed close enough for that confusion.

Glancing down, he found himself being address by the wolf, wanting to know his relation to Komora. He scratched his chin once more, before speaking, his mind already working to edit out the details that the wolf wasn’t classified to know.

“It was mostly by luck really; I was requested by the main office to help a group location a missing child. Between an apathetic chuunin and frighten children, I didn’t think I would get anywhere.”

Pausing slightly, he began recalling extra details before speaking again, a small frown on his face as his tale continued.

“I have found some tracks leading to a trail through the forest, and Komora had jumped out of a tree to greet me. The rest, well I remember a cave we found and then now sure what happened afterwards. We found the child, but I can’t recall anything else.”

Well that wasn’t necessarily true, yet the event had been several weeks ago and the more define details needed to remain secret for obvious reasons. Shin cough slightly before speaking once more.

“What of you? It not often you see a talking wolf wandering around with a child.”

Kiri looked at the clerk who went out of her way to help them. Or perhaps that was to be expected since they really did seem like they didn’t know a thing about what they were doing. After all, he was a guy who was entering a lingerie shop, so of course he would have no clue at all. Did he even know what shop it was they went into?

In any case, he nodded at the woman who seemed well-mannered enough to help them though he had to think about her words after she gave Komora something to try out and nudged her into the changing room. At that point, Kiri would look at the clerk and speak, “Girlfriend? Well, we hardly know each other yet, so I don’t think friend is appropriate. But she is a girl.”

“What kind of reasoning is that?” he could hear his inner beast laughing inside of him. “You really need to learn. I can’t believe it. I will fail as your brother if I don’t remedy. Listen here, we’ll be taking a crash course into relationships before this day is over, do you hear me?”

Perplexed, Kiri could only nod before he looked to the side, wondering why it was so much of a big deal. And so, he let his eyes fall onto the images of Shin and Akio outside, wondering if they both knew this was what would happen.

Akio nodded at the explanation. He got the feeling that there was a lot missing. Fortunately for Shin the secrets of what happened at the conclusion of the mission would ever be a secret as Komora wasn’t the kind who would be easily convinced to divulge her experience of it. That was assuming that he was able to make her understand what he wanted from her. The doggo sighed and scratched an ear with his hind leg. “I guess that sounds about right..” He grumbled about the lad’s story. Then it seemed like it was Akio’s turn to explain himself. “Ah, well, My master was a main branch who was KIA. I retired after his death, but I found myself bored out of my wits so I came out of retirement and picked up a job as a forest ranger.”

And did he have stories. He rumaged through his memories as he considered all of the trouble he went through in discovering the problem that was plaguing the forest. “Heh, did you know that bears were attacking the outskirts of the forest?” He asked the lad. “Maybe not, because I would round them up and get them back into the forest - but part of my job was finding out what was messing up the ecosystem for the apex predator of the woods.” He chuckled. The Doggo got to his feet and stretched. “Would you imagine that it was a little lost academy student? I found Komora covered head to toe in blood. She had been eating the bears raw in the forest. Honestly, the girl is more like an Inuzuka pup than she realizes.”

“Still… for the good of the forest I have had to do my very best with shepherding back to the land of humans.” He looked back into the store with a curious look.

Meanwhile inside of the store, the woman chuckled the way only a woman who could see through fallacies of a child’s logic could. “Uh-huh.” the skepticism was dripping off her words. “I’m sure you do daring things like holding hands hmm? Don’t be shy cutie.” She pinched at Kiri’s side as she teased him. Just then there came a loud crash from the dressing room. Chiko raised an eyebrow. She walked over to the door and knocked. “Is everything alright in there dear?” There was no answer.

The woman frowned as she tested the lock on the door. “Humph. Wait just right there.” She told Kiri. She walked to the front counter and back again, this time carrying a set of keys. When she unlocked the door, her jaw dropped. Missing was the cute little girl who had come here with her boyfriend. The only thing in this room was a hole in the backwall, with Komora no where to be seen.

“What the-?” Chiko snapped back to her senses. “Did she just knock down a brick wall? Wow. I’m not even mad.” she pinched Kiri’s butt. “You know how to pick’em studd.”

Hmm, rather interesting.

Shin listened intently to the wolf’s story, a piece of him appreciating the wolf’s drive in protecting the forest, even if it was out of boredom. When question about the bears, he should his head, frowning as he explained more in detail. He had known that Komora was... a feral person from their encounter, but to hear that a student was killing and eating bears by herself was caused his eyes to shine slightly. Imagine if she were able to remain less feral and how more formal training, what an impressive shinobi the child would be. However, he doubted her clan would like to know that one of the members was consuming raw meat on a day to day basic. Probably should make sure this she sees a doctor if her wolf guardian hasn’t already.

Notice the dogs odd stare, he glanced at the store was well, analyzing what he could see from his gaze.

“That was a rather, unexpected story. Something happened with the two in the store?”

He had stopped leaning, his muscle cracking slightly as he continued began to walk inside, moving only enough so that he could see the boy, and be close enough that he could speak.

“Everything okay?”

The loud crashing sounds was definitely not good. Kiri quickly followed the clerk as they investigated the sound and soon found the large hole in the wall. Almost instantly, Kiri felt like he had aged ten years too early. He had just lost the person he was supposed to be keeping an eye on. To make matters worse, the clerk was seemingly perplexed, to whom he quickly said, “The clan will handle repairs.”

Just as he was about to turn and report this incident, Shin decided to come and ask about it. “I don’t know exactly what happened but Komora is gone. She just blew a hole into the wall and left.” said Kiri as he ran past Shin to find Akio.

Outside, he would find the large wolf and quickly relays the message. Sighing, he glanced around them before he realising he was more than tired already and this was just making him all the more tired. Such unwarranted stress was likely to kill him. But he wasn’t one to simply abandon a friend, well, a newly made friend that is. So he turned to the wolf and said, “Well, should we split up and look for her? Wait, you might know where she is up to.”

“Hum. And what clan would that be?” Chiko inquired further of Kiri. Shin poked his head into the store and Kiri came out to meet them and explain what had happened. The dog rolled his one good eye. “Why would you let her blow a hole in the wall? You just stood there?” The doggo face pawed. “Very observant of you.” He continued by addressing Kiri. “I am an Inuzuka dog, although the nose isn’t what it used to be.” He hoped through the store to the dressing room where Komora was last. Chiko put her hands on her hips angrily. “Hey! You can’t bring a dog into the - ”

“Sorry lady, we’re in a hurry. Send the bill to the Mochizuki clan.” Akio was a mastiff and easily brushed the woman aside as he began to examine the hole wherein Komora had escaped. He took one wiff and already he had a good scent - although her scent was now that of soap and perfume ever since they had made the trip to the bath house. “I can find her on my own… you two...” He sighed. “I’m going to have to buy that girl a leash...” he grumbled underneath his breath. “You two just stay out of trouble you hear?”

Of course Komora was too much for one boy to handle. He didn’t know what it was that had let him think that it was a good idea to have this boy help her try on underwear. He should have known he was supposed to go into the dressing room with her and help her try on garments. Whatever! He would just leave them behind and find Komora on his own - with his nose it would be easier to find her this way.

With his nose to the ground he began to sniff out Komora’s path.

Shin narrowed his eyes at the wolf's passing comment, it wasn't as though he had been out shopping and looking to pick a fight with them. He remained silent as he observed the animal sniffing for the scent of his ward, himself and. Kiri forgotten. Well at least he was able to get a better assessment of the feral child as well as the newcomer.

Giving the place the once over, he briefly noted of the incident, making sure to turn include enough information for the head office incase the damage became an issue. The wolf said that the clan would pay, but it didn't hurt to be prepared. Closing his notebook, he placed the item back into his jacket before nodding at the boy

"She turn up again soon. I'll let her clan know about the wolf. Well have to meet again on less tense situation. "

With his words done, he allowed his cameo to activate as he blended away from sight.
