Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Appearance:
From an outside viewpoint nothing about his physical body can be detailed with the exception of his black hair and hazel skin. Like the members of his tribe, he wears bulky clothing as a first defense from the harsh cold of his homeland.

Personality:
Level headed. He is a former Anbu for the village of Yukigakure, meaning he has a more stern and focused mindset

History:
Born into one of the lesser prestigious tribes of Katai in Yomi, his tribe being one who are among the most mysterious due to their cultural lifestyle and physical imbalance when compared to other Katai tribes. Unlike their brethren his tribe's males do not grow usually past six feet and they weigh nearly half as the other tribes not out of malnutrition but due to the fact that the tribe holds a unique trait. The tribe made a pact long ago, before recorded history of the tribe itself which is now passed down through verbal stories and fables, with a species of Kikai that had adopted traits of the native Cucujus beetle. Their bodies are no longer their own as they share it with these insect hosts dividing the nutrients between them, uniquely giving members of his tribe large appetites despite their size. This pact is also the reason why among the Katai tribes, his own are known as long-term trackers recorded as being able to track and hunt in the frozen plains of Yomi for days on end without succumbing to the cold. The ability to do this is directly linked to their kikai's evolution and cross-breeding with the Cucujus Beetle in that they produce antifreeze proteins (AFP's) which keep both them and their host from freezing or feeling the effects of the cold.

His time as a Shinobi was spent among a close band of Anbu under the command of the Katai Captain, Hyouton Kyourin (Former PC). His specialty being one of infiltration and information gathering with help from his natural skills. After the unit was disbanded, he effectively along with the other Katai in the unit left Anbu all together and returned back to their respective tribes. He has remained in the general region of his people ever since then though his activities as a shinobi albeit no longer under the command of a government source still gives him adequate time on missions and other tasks.

BLOODLINE


Aburame

The Aburame are a rather unique and aberrant bloodline, their unique abilities are often perceived as grotesque by their fellow Shinobi. Emanating within the Village Hidden in the Leaves, members of this generally reticent clan are at birth offered the head of the Kikai; a species of rather deadly insects that possess the ability to eat chakra from all forms of life. By utilizing their host's Chakra as a form of energy, these kikai are able to be controlled by the Aburame through mental communication. This mutual symbiosis turns out beneficial for both the Kikai and the Aburame, allowing them both to have access to powers otherwise unheard of.

Kikkai Control - Activated Passive
The Aburame are born with strange insects within their body and have created a mutualistic relationship between themselves and the kikai within them. Their most natural ability, this allows the Aburame to manipulate and control the swarms of Venomous parasites that live within their body and use it as a hive.

Rank 1: Allows the user to control a swarm of Kikai to defend themselves, blocking up to 200 points of damage each round.
Rank 2: Allows the user to control a swarm of Kikai to defend themselves, blocking up to 500 points of damage each round.
Rank 3: Allows the user to control a swarm of Kikai to defend themselves, blocking up to 750 points of damage each round.

Notes:
- The swarm of Kikai may protect the user for no cost, but may only protect the user once per round as they must regenerate before a new swarm is ready. This may be done reflexively.

Adaption - Passive
The Kikai are a highly adaptable species of Parasite, living of the enviroment and it's creatures. Through generations, these insects have become highly adaptable to almost any situation whether it be a natural disaster such as a hurricane, or a spontaneously ensued battle between shinobi. Whichever the case, the kikai are highly adaptable and can shift the behavior throughout their swarms to counter almost any threat against themselves and the Aburame.

Rank 1: When a Kikai swarm blocks an attack, based on what type of attack it is, they give the user a +1 buff to the dodge of that type.
Rank 2: When a Kikai swarm blocks an attack, based on what type of attack it is, they give the user a +2 buff to the dodge of that type.
Rank3: When a Kikai swarm blocks an attack, based on what type of attack it is, they give the user a +3 buff to the dodge of that type.

Note:
- This may only take effect once per attack type.
- Attack types mean "Sword" Taijutsu or  "Fire" Ninjutsu, etc.

Poison Knowledge - Passive
The symbiosis between the Aburame and the Kikai is not completely without harm between the two, at first many Aburame fall ill to the poisonous kikai a they make a hive out of their body, though over time their parasite's venom becomes diluted within their immune system, keeping their resistance to all forms of venom in top shape. furthermore, these Kikai themselves actually fight off toxins within the Aburame's body, and add their own poison to their host's techniques.

Kikai Bug Clone - Secret Clone Jutsu
One of the most basic techniques in the Aburame clan, this technique allows the user to create a perfect copy of themselves out of the very parasitic insects within them, manipulating them just as they can a normal swarm. However, these clones are composed of tiny insects, so they cannot take contact before dispersing into the air until further notice from the Aburame.

Rank 1: Allows the user to create a Bug Clone from up to a distance of 40 feet away. Each clone can be used to protect the Aburame up to 200 damage each.
Rank 2: Allows the user to create two bug clones from up to a diameter distance of 60 feet away. Each clone can be used to protect the Aburame up to 250 damage each.
Rank 3: Allows the user to create three bug clones from up to a diameter distance of 80 feet away. Â Each clone can be used to protect the Aburame up to 300 damage each.

Costs:
Ranks 1/2: 1 AP. 300 CP/Clone. 150 CP/rnd.
Rank 3: 1.5 AP, 300 CP/Clone. 150 CP/rnd.

Kikai Bug Shield - Parasitic Defensive Jutsu
The Kikai are a rapid-breeding Insect that grow almost at a constant rate within the Aburame. However, With no Host to use as a Hive, these parasites cannot thrive in the normal environments. Due to this, these insects have no problem sacrificing themselves for their Host's and the Hive's well being, and are able to create a wall of hundreds of insects to protect the Aburame from nearly all types of techniques.

Rank 1: Creates a wall of insects that protects the user from up to 710 damage.
Rank 2: Creates a wall of insects that protects the user from up to 1670 damage.
Rank 3: Creates a wall of insects that protects the user from up to 2670 damage.

Costs:
Rank 1: 1 AP, 230 Cp to initiate. 110 Cp/Rnd
Rank 2: 2 AP, 560 Cp to initiate. 270 Cp/Rnd
Rank 3: 2.5 AP, 750 Cp to initiate. 360 Cp/Rnd

Kikai Swarm Attack - Insect Assault Jutsu
A simple technique of the Aburame Clan. The kikai are able to be dispersed by the Aburame into a large cloud that swarm an opponent, covering them with many parasitic insects. These Parasites eat away not only at the targets Life, but also feast upon the victim's chakra ever chance they get. Â

Rank 1: Releases a cloud of insects that bite and sting the target, dealing 760 damage to Hp and 380 to CP.
Rank 2: Releases a cloud of insects that bite and sting the target, dealing 1240 damage to Hp and 620 to CP.
Rank 3: Releases a cloud of insects that bite and sting the target, dealing 1485 damage to Hp and 740 to CP.

Poison Disperse - Kikai Toxin Jutsu
The Kikai's ability does not simply stop at eating away at chakra. Infact, the Kikai are also a highly Toxic Parasite that store chakra-infused toxins within each and every individual insect. Upon the Aburame's command, they are able to release this toxic gas upon a target, disorienting their sense of perception and dispelling their body's ability to store chakra. As the Aburame's Strength grows, so too does the Kikai's ability to produce stronger, and more lethal poisons, to the point where they automatically toxify an area upon being destroyed.

Rank 1: Releases a poison gas that causes an opponent to lose 500 CP a round. Additionally, they lose -1 accuracy and -1 dodge. Lasts for three rounds and is treated as a Weak Poison.
Rank 2: Releases a poison gas that causes an opponent to lose 630 CP a round. Additionally, they lose -2 accuracy and -1 dodge. Lasts for three rounds and is treated as a Strong Poison.
Rank 3: Releases a poison gas that causes an opponent to lose 750 CP a round. Additionally, they lose -2 accuracy and -2 dodge. Lasts for three rounds and is treated as a Heavy Poison.

Corrosive Touch - Nano-parasitic Insect Jutsu
A powerful ability of the Aburame clan, unlike the majority of their techniques which  allow them to stay at a range while their insects do their work, this ability requires the Aburame to move in for an up close confrontation. Within their insect infested bodies lie an even creepier secret; they are also hives for minuscule swarms of Nano-insects even smaller than their normal kikai. Normally hidden within their body, these special nano insects can be transferred through direct skin contact with the Aburame and "Infect" other organisms. Capable of even posing through clothing and armor, once touched, the victim experiences excruciating pain while these nano insects enter the point of infection, releasing their toxins directly into the body of the victim. The infected area appears darkened, and quickly spreads throughout the body.

Rank 1: The Aburame touches a limb of the target and injects them with Nano Kikai. Each round, this limb has a 30% chance to have it's called shot level increased for the remainder of the battle. Lasts two Rounds.
Rank 2: The Aburame touches a limb of the target and injects them with Nano Kikai. Each round, this limb has a 40% chance to have it's called shot level increased for the remainder of the battle.
Rank 3: The Aburame touches a limb of the target and injects them with Nano Kikai. Each round, this limb has a 50% chance to have it's called shot level increased for the remainder of the battle.

Costs: 2.5 Ap, 900 Cp

Notes:
- Lasts two rounds.
- This may only be used once per limb.
- This jutsu uses Melee Accuracy, and suffers normal Called shot penalties depending on the targeted limb.
- The user may apply any Injury-type poison with this technique.

Kikai Infiltration - Chakra Parasite Jutsu
The kikai, being bugs that are able to feed off their hosts chakra, Naturally have the ability to do the same to their opponents. However, in battle when the Aburame requires their chakra to fight off the opponents, the kikai are less inclined to feed of their hosts, but rather, feed of their threats and and transfer the chakra of their victims to the Aburame much like bees do with flowers.

Rank 1: Steals 700 cp per round for 3 round.
Rank 2: Steals 880 cp per round for 3 rounds.
Rank 3: Steals 1060 cp per round for 3 rounds.

Cost: 3 AP to initiate, 0 chakra.

Notes:
- Does not Stack upon a single target.
- Requires a Ninjutsu check each round.
- User gains Cp equal to Half the damage done by this jutsu.

Ultimate Kikai Vortex - Parasitic Insect Tornado Ninjutsu
The ultimate technique known only to the most skilled and powerful in the Aburame Clan. This technique is performed by the Aburame using a large amount of kikai, allowing the Aburame to create a chakra vacuum that is able to suck the air out of a person. This tornado-like vacuum creates a disturbance that not only throws the opponent off, but also heavily destroys the chakra system of all those caught within, removing their chakra in mere moments.

Rank 1: Creates a 20x20 tornado of kikai insects, Reducing the Dodge and poison Resistance of all within by -1. All within get stung by kikai, and lose 1800 Cp Each Round at +2 Accuracy.
Rank 2: Creates a 23x23 tornado of kikai insects, Reducing the Dodge and poison Resistance of all within by -2. All within get stung by kikai, and lose 2020 Cp Each Round at +2.5 Accuracy.
Rank 3: Creates a 26x26 tornado of kikai insects, Reducing the Dodge and poison Resistance of all within by -3. All within get stung by kikai, and lose 2240 Cp Each Round at +3 Accuracy.

Note:
- Does not stack, Lasts up to two rounds.
- Leaving requires a Ninjutsu check against the user.
- This Jutsu may target up to two Targets Automatically.

- The users binds have a -5% chance of being escaped from.
- The user may attack the target of their own bind -without- breaking the bind upon attacking; though it will still break once damage is dealt. This may only be done once per round, twice per battle.

Strategist
- Effect:
Rank 1 (50 Stat Average): - Allows up to 3 slots in the user's inventory to be Prepared

Rank 2 (75 Stat Average. ): - Allows up to 4 slots in the user's inventory to be Prepared

Rank 3 (100 Stat Average. ): - Allows up to 5 slots in the user's inventory to be Prepared

Note:
- This does not give extra Inventory slots, it modifies existing ones.
- Can prepare Exploding Notes and Microchakra Bombs prior to battle. (Applies to only one item)
- Can use Jutsu Sealing to scribe Jutsu into Sealing Scrolls prior to battle. (Applies to only one scroll)
- Can prepare a weapon, First attack done with the weapon is a free action and considered a Sneak Attack. This may apply to projectiles. (Applies only once)
- Can poison a Puppet, this poisons all their physical Traps. Only one poison may be applied to a puppet using Prepared Slots. They cannot stack on the same puppet.
- You may Pre-poison any Weapon with any Injury type poison prior to battle. This applies to the entire Item Stack, and only one poison may be applied to a weapon using Prepared Slots. They cannot stack on the same weapon.

Quick Reaction
-Effect:
- If the user dodges an attack, the user may immediately counterattack the attacker with a Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Basic attack at +2 Accuracy; the user pays all costs normally.
- This action is modded immediately after the attack they dodged, can only target the attacker, and cannot be a bind.

Notes:
- This can only occur twice per round and may not be used in conjunction with the Teamwork ability.
- An Ally can not set off the effects of quick reaction.
- The user can not quick react and target multiple people, but may still use an AoE technique on a single target. Willpower
-Effect:
- The Cancel Jutsu may now apply to Genjutsu of any level as long as the user is aware of it effecting them.
- Cancel may automatically dispel Genjutsu up to level 5, and no longer has a penalty against higher level Genjutsu.
- Cancel no longer requires handseals, and may be used as a free action once per round, twice per battle.

- Effect:
Rank 1 (3 Mastered Genjutsu, 125 Genjutsu.): +1 Gen DC.

Rank 2 (5 Mastered Genjutsu, 200 Genjutsu.): +2 Genjutsu DC

Combat Instinct
- Effect:
- The user gains +2 dodge during any round they are being attacked by more than one opponent
- During a round that the above applies to, attacks have a 5% chance of missing the user and instead hitting a different opponent.

Note: Clones are considered to be an extension of their user in concerns to this ability, and will not activate the above effect.

Release Restraint
-Effect:
- All Bind-escape chances are increased by +5%. Additionally, escape attempts cost -.5 Ap than usual.
- Once per round, the users first escape attempt costs no Ap.

Sixth Sense
- Effect:
- When making an awareness check, the user has a 25% chance to auto-detect the target. This applies to targets in Stealth, hidden by clones, and under transformations.
- Sneak Attacks to the user have a 25% chance of being detected and losing their Sneak bonus.

Kotesu's shinobi skills derive not from the bloodline of his clan but from his own drive and ability to do something of his own free will. He became reputable for his ability to learn and utilize his instincts from past missions/battles and operate with it at optimum proficiency. His extension of natural talent goes further than just it's use in battle, he is able to catch on to jutsu quickly to the point where in learning something new his ability to master it in a relative short period of time has become a trademark feature.

It is due to these very reasons that Kotesu has followed his father's occupational path within the shinobi community. He became an Anbu based upon his merit and skills which has made him quite confident as these abilities were those he developed on his own. He has put his talents to use outside of the Anbu division however serving as a teacher within the academy recently, finding it to be the perfect place to oversee their development as well as look for talented potentials.

Currently he successfully leads a double life one being that of Konchuu Kotesu the jounin teacher for the academy and the other being the Amethyst Wolf, a anbu under his father's squad.

Despite being born into a branch of the Aburame Clan, Kotesu vowed early in life to make his own way into shinobi-hood and openly opposes the traits/techniques of the clan. He has instead went about his life/career on his own terms and abilities.

For the most part Kotesu wears the standard uniform of a leaf shinobi of jonin ranking, although his flack vest does have his clan's symbol placed along both sides of the collar protector. When he is not wearing this, he is usually wearing an all black examiner uniform although this is usually only when he is teaching a class or proctoring an examination. The bandage that runs across his face, around the middle of his nose is there to hide a scar he sustained as a child when the middle of his face was gashed by a projectile jutsu he was working on perfecting. Covering his forehead is the leaf's headband, something he wears proudly at all times.
