Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The Minamoto Clan, in it's past and even present life, had always shared the religious belief that those who held power and might under their fist controlled and ruled the lands. It was true, to a point, to a fault even, for with power under them there had been several battles won, several ties forged and strengthened through such means. The Minamoto clan had been known for many things in their past. Taijutsu being the main success that flourished throughout the clans history. The skills they possessed seemed to go unsurpassed and could be said to even rival that of the famed Jyuuken style of the Hyuuga clan. It was not always as such, for of course like many great things in history, the Minamoto clan had to make their stake and claim in history. Fighting for their right to be remembered and recognized for such feats.

It was said, that long ago, at the start of possibly even time, there was a creature. One of the lone nature, one that could not be bothered with the whimsy and faceless ideals of the others of its kind. It was a creature all itself and unique of its own right. Its name was Sadawoo. Sadowoo was one of a kind, in the sense that his thoughts and words were not of the others birthed along side him. For you see, Sadowoo had one thing that the others had. Ambition. He had no need for petty mortals to bow down to him, nor did he care for offerings from their cattle and sacrifices. No. He was out with a purpose.

Earthed alone and left to his solitude by the other selfish gods Sadowoo hide himself amongst the very creatures created by his kind, the mortals. He did not seek their admiration, nor did he want their words of praise and worship. He merely wanted to lay in what he thought was the ultimate goal of life. Oh, his ambition, you ask? Well you see. Sadowoo was one who sought after a feeling that most could never actually claim they had. The other gods couldn't, at least. Yes. He sought after happiness. That permanent happiness. And while the other gods, who constantly bickered amongst one another and argued, flinging powers which way and another, punishing their own creations by shifting them through trials and such via the repercussions of said arguments, Sadowoo was astounded, baffled even, to find that one thing he'd been searching for in the very people who suffered.

How can someone be...happy? In the state that they were in? It was down right ludicrous, right? There was no way it was true, for they were forced day in and day out to bring forth the offerings, forced to endure when they did not deserve, forced to accept and hold thy tongue when opposed. How could -they- the simplest of creatures, able to die from a mere flesh wound, have the ability to find happiness, content-ness, absolute peace?

The word was simple and plain, out in the open. Companionship. They had each other, always, being loyal, you would never lose what you had, for they were always together. They derived their strength from one another, held on when things were of the utmost unbearable. And together, they made it through. Sadowoo saw this, saw that fact. Surprising as it was, and made to lay with a woman and give birth to a clan made out of those very ideals. Can you guess the clan?

Pfft, None other than the Senj-... I mean, the Minamoto of course. Sadowoo would find that this select group of clansmen in the harsh Country side would find the warmth and sincere happiness. Through time he would see that their happiness was derived from their sincere and unwavering want to help one another to reach the pinnacle of their growth. As such due to the harsh conditions they had grown accustomed to their bodies would naturally grow toughened and thick, making their physical forms naturally toned and muscular (like Samoans.)

Over time Sadowoo would watch them, and bless them for the happiness they would give to one another with no ask of return or anything of that sort. Normally hearing the phrase 'pay it forward' amongst them would remind him of what he left behind. Absolutely nothing. The bickering ad arguing back where he was from would lead him to a large amount of despair, but these people had shown him the compassion and kindness as well as having a sense of pride in what they did and who they were as a people. And Thus, from what they had shown them he would find it within himself to bless them... with the eyes that rivaled himself. Power that would set them apart from others in the land... but as they were mortals, he could only give to them what was already in existence. The Sharingan, Byakugan, and the Sanryoukyougan.

The first man to experience this blessing, Minamoto Yoshimoto the first head of the family. As he was wavered at first accepting anything from an outsider for simple kindness had not crossed his mind. But after a bit of time he would take the gift if only to better help his family and protect the next generation. As time would begin to associate itself the clan would live in solace with Sadowoo, the holy being would fall into the realms of the family, as he would be sealed into the Scroll of the Minamoto. Held by the Head of the Family.

Centuries would pass, And the formation of the Kirigakure would occur. And The Clansmen of Minamoto would begin to help form the beginnings of the city that was Mist. Fighting off intruders that looked to hurt the people within. Along with the Shoukyou and the Isaki clans they would form the structure from which it would be forged. After two hundred and fifty years of the clans fending off outsiders wanting the world as they knew to end and to take their rich lands away from the people that would take the interest of the richer clans.

As time carried on and the years passed by, it would come that the greatest minds that this country had ever seen would begin to be born, giving birth to the strongest minded and willed that had ever been known since the beginning of the clan's history. Sadowoo had again blessed them, however with a bit of a catch this time...

The prideful eyes that the clan had grown to be known for had not been bestowed on the eldest of this generation, Taro. Him along side his cousins and siblings had been deemed the smartest of their time.... And as time would go on they would bring the nation closer together alongside the clans of the region.

This is Taro's story...

------------

The crackling sounds of cartilage against bone the agony of bone rubbing against bone, yet he forced himself to fight on. In the darkness of the night shrouding his body and beginning to cloud his mind, the Valored samurai, Minamoto Taro would be fighting for his life in the wilderness of Raven country. It was a scary thought to know that there might be an ending to his life here, without his family without his friends, without realizing his true potential...

And without a moment's hesitation he would slip, his mind flickering for a moment as blade melded with flesh and causing a gasp to appear from his lungs. The crimson liquid of life faling from his lips glazed upon his tongue... it would appear to be his final moments, how he longed to see her face once more so that he might die happy...
---
From a young age Minamoto Taro was a boy driven by the goals of his family to move the village forward. Being brought up from the early age of three to begin training his muscles to memorize movements and reactions to situations he would be presented with, never doing any attacking until later ages. Working solely on defensive techniques and being made sure that he was proficient with defending himself first and foremost. Being brought up to defend honor and th pride of the family and letting nothing get in his way of his destiny, the greatest strength of Taro was his ability to adapt to any situation. His defense was his overwhelming offense in the end.

Then there came school... from the time he entered he wanted to be the best, wanting to stand out from the rest and make his father proud, as well as be shown enough favor on by Sadowoo. It took a long time, but as Taro had grown, took classes and learned he would be known as one of the top students of that generation.

As time stumbled about, Taro would find himself venturing through the caverns, discouraged from the facts of his shortcomings, not being able to activate his sharingan not being given that ability within his blood. Many in his family had felt, that his blessing of knowledge would be shortlived without the full blessings of Sadowoo... but Taro never gave up. He kept showing over and over that he could adapt and change the outlook of his life, time and time again.

Within the inner sanctums of the cavern systems Taro would continue deep into the regions within the volcano. He would come across a small pond of water, crystal in its glow and shimmering... though an eeriness filled the air, and all at once Taro would find himself in the depths of a trap no way out and no way to escape... the caverns began to shake and rumble as all seemed to be lost.... Then with a cool decisive breath the young boy would lift his hands into the air and out of complete instinct and with his ability to adapt to the surroundings of a situation he would be able seemingly stop time itself... and reverse it about thirty seconds before he was got into that region of the caverns.

De'javu settled in his spirit, as he would find himself startled as this event had never happened to him before. However, something was different this time there was a small reptile sitting with its arms crossed on his shoulder, nodding his head. "Tsk tsk. Took you a whole three seconds that time Taro-san... You are so young to be so spongy. Your mind just collects everything it hears. This is why you were the best choice for this training.", nodding Taro would smile as he would drop the void around them as he was simulating an attack upon him as Denrei would release the mirage.

That moment would be apart of his regular life for years. As he would join ANBU and rise to be the Sennin when the village was completely ran by the three branches of government without a singular leader. He would conitnue rising the ranks and finding favor even with the village. Having the Majority of the Village on his side they would... all see the leadership and the caring of the village on the outside of him.

Thus becoming the first Official leader of the village.

Shodaime Mizukage.... The first Water Shadow... always looking out for the best for the village.

--------------

After only mere weeks of him being the Mizukage, he wanted to take the position soundly and first he had to take his demons head on. Something that he had been doing for a long while before his body gave out on him. Though this is the story, true and true. In the dead of the night, the pride of the Minamoto riveting and cascading through him like a soothing stream leading into a vast luxurious river. The mind of the man, Minamoto Taro, Prideful of his family and of his own life had set out on a mission. . . the mission was something that he needed to overcome. Something that he needed to seek out. . . to tame this beast locked within him with a seal that was located over his heart and chest. Something had to give. . . something had to bite. . . so he would embark on a final mission with his father. . .

During this time, he was finally able to come to peace with the things that had happened. His father was a powerful man, powerful, headstrong and true. He always wanted his sons to be the best and the daughters to be even better. To work hard to give the years that they had all placed into the village with an iron clad boot forward and a stern steel toed boot in the ass of anyone that stepped on their pride. Taro, had been through so much during this. . . taking out a band of thieves and finding a ring leader past the outskirts of Kirigakure. Though, as hard a fight it would seem. . . Taro and his father took the man out with relative ease. It wasnt until they secured the perimeter. . . that the man's body would no longer be found. . . this was Taro's first encounter with. . . a man that carried multiple bodies. But not a Rikudo Sennin. . . this man used the hearts of his victims to allow himself to live on a disgusting display but without the knowledge that Taro found out at the end it would ultimately lead to a detrimental wound to his father but giving him an opening that Taro needed and with that he was able to take out the beast. . . not without releasing his own of course. . .

Blanking. Everything seemed to go into a puddle of decayed black festered light. With no end. No beginning. No past or future. There was nothingness as Taro stared down at a gate. Within his mind and it had been ripped to shreds. What happened? What was formerly behind this gate? No one knew. . . not even Taro but he had an idea. The demon that had been locked in deep. With the poisonous nature that destroyed Taro'd body which led him to work so hard. To drive and striver for more. He didnt know what it would be but it was surely something that had taken him hostage. . .

But hours past. . .

And his eyes would open naturally His father laying next to him. His chest cavity opened. . . his breathing stopped. . . and Taro would look up with scars all over his body and all over. . . how long had he been gone? It was so long that the dust of the earth seemed to even wash over him. Had no one found him. . .

Derp~ Of course not Taro, ya dult~

Lifting himself. . . slowly the ache in every bone as Taro would sit up and lift his hands up. Quickly forming the handsigns to seal his father's body up. From there. . . He'd lug the body over his shoulder. . . Though it was odd. . . He should have long since died of starvation. Though his body seemed to be almost perfectly intact. . . as if it had fed off of something. Though he didnt want to think too deeply on the matter. With the body and his mind lost in whack he would limp his feeble body over to the caverns. . .

This would definitely be interesting.

[fontsize="20"]Taro's Relationship guide![/fontsize]

Minamoto Takumi - Annoying little brother that I have to worry about. The hell is going on in his damned 'three ring circus' head. What did father see in him? Why is he blessed and not me? Is he yet more deserving than I?

Kazamatsuri Sho - My road dog, I have his back and he has mine. One of the only family members, I dont have to cater to that I feel honestly close to. Thank you Sho, you have always had my life's best interest in mind. I promise, I will help you anyway I can.

The Minamoto Family - I love you all unconditionally. As your leader, I promise to attempt to give my best hand in leading the family forward and holding us together. Trust me.

Kasumi Masa - Have you ever had that one teacher that you knew if you were older things would be different. Or had that one woman, that you wish could see you in a different light other than being some youngster that didnt know better? Well, this was the case, but only really in my mind. And while she seemed to like me I never seemed to be able to get over the fact that she was older than I was... though this is my preference. She is just different from other females... she's more special...
