Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Re: Kossori's Dojo [WIP]

How about we get this started with something fairly simple... Kossori is going to need some blades before he can do much of anything:

[spoilername="Weapon Request"]Razor of Retaliation
Slashing type damage applied
+ 5% damage, -1 accuracy

This blade is as sharp as it is fearsome, but it's main attribute is that it hungers for vengeance. No one would dare harm the wielder of this weapon simply because any attacks made on the wielder have a fortifying effect. Damage will go throw the roof and for every extra drop of blood spilled, the blade will return that much power to its owner.

Augments: Vengeance, Vampiric, Chakra Drain[/spoilername]

Now, how about those ten abilities I have been promised?

[spoilername="First Ability"]Shadow Tactics:

There should be no need for an RP, correct?[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Second Ability"]Quickdraw:

Kossori was always meant to be a master of bladed weaponry. After all, it was somewhat difficult to lose countless generations' worth of sword training. As a Nanjirou, the boy was meant to slice through anything that might approach. The only downside was that you could not have your weapon in hand at all times. That was why the young gypsy spent most of his childhood training... not like normal swordsmen, who needed all the help they could get, but instead like a man whose main goal was simply to draw his weapon faster than all others. Eventually, he became the quickest drawer of blades around.

[spoilername="Third Ability"]Bull's Strength:

What happens when you force your muscles to adapt to high speed scenarios? Well, for Kossori, it meant steadier control of the muscles in question. It also meant that his muscles had grown more flexible in terms of dealing with strain. While these two traits might seem rather standard for a battle-hardened warrior, the fact was that the boy came about these abilities at an early age. That meant one thing, really... he could then go on to weight training with remarkable success. Heaven forbid some fool try to mess with this young man; he was already too tough at fifteen to ever go down lightly.

[spoilername="Fourth Ability"]Human Anatomy:

When you're trained to be quick and you're trained to be strong, the next logical step is to also become trained in how to make an attack count. It doesn't matter if you can use bulky weapons efficiently if all you're doing is chopping off hair with your swings. That was why Kossori snuck into hospitals and morgues every chance he could get. The more he could learn about basic human anatomy, the more he could apply said knowledge to his fighting style. Pressure points were simple to learn, for instance. Even the placement of major arteries and veins didn't post too much of a problem. Eventually, all things anatomical opened his eyes to the world of hurt he would soon dish out.

[spoilername="Fifth Ability"]Nimble Hands:

How does a kid Kossori's age get in and out of locked rooms like hospital morgues? Well, that was part of a whole different training regiment. You see, as a scout for a band of gypsies, part of your job description was to gather intel. Gathering intel in turn leads to the mastering of lock picking. Of course, this training gives you more than access to previously unreachable areas; it also develops your dexterity. What one person might be able to accomplish with their hands free, Kossori could do with hands too occupied to bother. It all relied on independent control of the various tendons within the fingers. If you could think to operate every aspect of your body independently from one another, there was no stopping what you could do.

[spoilername="Sixth Ability"]Jutsu Mastery:

Eventually, a body reaches perfection. At this point, a shinobi must learn to master their spirit. As a member of the longstanding Nanjirou clan, this was a little harder for Kossori. While he was used to dealing with the spirit world on a day-to-day basis, he was not as easily trusting of his own spirit. That was why he trained night and day with his chakra control. If he was going to fend off the advances of his ancestors, he had to know how to maximize his energy flow. Eventually, he even managed to succeed through a clever use of chakra pulses. While it might seem like he had a never-ending supply of chakra, truly he just had better timing and control of his life force. Never again would he have to worry that the demons would come knocking on this spiritual doorway... not unless he wanted them to.

[spoilername="Seventh Ability"]Initiative:

Now Kossori had a grip on both his body and his mind. While it might seem like his training should have ended there, though, he still had a long way to go before he considered himself done. The first step was to speed up his actions. It didn't matter if he drew quicker than his opponent if the opponent still got first hit. So, combining the training he did with his chakra levels with the strength/ speed training he had subjected his body to, Kossori worked on becoming fast. Eventually, he got so fast that it seemed like he was performing actions instantaneously. Now, he was well on his way.

[spoilername="Eighth Ability"]Poison Mastery:

When one becomes quick, does one stop there? Kossori never bothered to ask himself that because he knew that it didn't matter how fast you became if the other guy was still faster. That was why he started experimenting with poisons. It might seem underhanded, but if one could cripple their opponents with blood-boiling pain, eventually even the slowest person could overtake them. Now, Kossori was still fairly young and usually lacked parental supervision, so this training almost cost him his life more than once, but eventually poisons became his bitch. All it took was for Kossori to learn respect for the deadly liquids he worked with. After that, it was a simple matter of applying them.

Word Count: 117[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Ninth Ability"]Deflection:

As training often does, working with poisons led Kossori to understand the need to learn the art of deflection. If an opponent could be crippled with the boy's poisons, after all, did the same not apply to Kossori himself? Granted, deflection was something of a combination of all his prior trainings. The speed of his draw, the strength of his body, and the ability to act quickly all helped the young Anbu with the ability to REACT just as quick. Eventually, there was not a blade swung that the boy couldn't deflect if he concentrated hard enough. Of course, this assumed he never got in over his head, but hey, it never hurt to dodge at least a few attacks.

Word Count: 120[/spoilername]
[spoilername="Tenth Ability"]Jutsu Creator:

What would happen, though, should he become overwhelmed? This train of thought became Kossori's central focus now that his abilities were coming to fruition. Maybe he could somehow manage to layer jutsu atop jutsu? It seemed like an understandable concept; if one rasengan could tear apart a small crowd, could two combined not kill off a far larger one? It took some real strategizing to figure out how he was going to hold a sword and perform two separate sets of hand seals, but now that he had mastered his other combat abilities, this one followed suit. It wouldn't be the prettiest thing in the world and it definitely wouldn't be as strong as performing the jutsu separately, but in a pinch, Kossori believed this justu creation ability would come to save his life.

Man, that was a chore... finally, though, I come to the end:

[spoilername="Affinities"]Free D-Rank Minor Affinity: Earth
Upgrade that at C-Rank and replace it with Non-Elemental

New Affinities: Earth (Free Major), Non-Elemental (Free Minor)[/spoilername]

Did I do good, oh miscellaneous council member? Please tell me I did good! ;)

Why not... I'll go ahead and set up my second weapon while I'm at it. I need something to suit my Anbu persona.

[spoilername="Second Weapon Request"]The Redeemer
Salshing type damage applied
+5% damage, -1 accuracy

The Redeemer takes its name from a goddess worshipped in the foreign lands where the scimitar was forged. It was said that this goddess would often be quick to outrage and would dance upon the dead that lay at her feet. Once, however, she discovered that she danced upon the body of her husband Shiva. Her rage was quieted in that moment and, ever since, this blade has become a symbol of the need for speed over greed.

Augments: Quick Strike, Blitz, Toxify
Coated with Iron Vein[/spoilername]
