Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Human Anatomy
She looked down at the cover of her text book, it displayed a human in different layers: muscle, bones, organs, skin. It was a class she had decided to take upon acceptance into the ANBU corps and one that was bitter sweet. While the subject itself was very informative and interesting, the instructor was not. He would drone on and on till the end of the class and Itsuki was having trouble focusing. After all you could only look at the pictures in the book so long before getting bored. So she took the initiative and gathered some of the other students for a study group. If the teaching wasn't going to teach them, they would need to teach themselves.

Bloody Mess
It wasn't enough. Itsuki looked across the room to her enemy were appeared to be having trouble acting with several of his chakra points closed, but simple inaction didn't mean that she was going to be the victor in this fight. The Jyuuken Stance was known for causing internal bleeding, but it wasn't guaranteed. No, Itsuki was going to make sure they were bleeding, internally or not. With a quick step, she closed to gap towards her opponent; another of the Kyokuju clan. With her knowledge of the human anatomy, she knew exactly where to place her blows for maximum effectiveness in the ripping of veins and skin. It didn't take long for the man's robe to be tainted with his own life force and to be taken away. Another victory for the heir to the Kyokuju.

Bull's Strength
"Come on you weakling, work harder!" she cheered at her partner who was lagging behind. They were currently doing laps around one of the few tracks in Kumogakure. "But Itsuki, we've already done so much, can't we take a break!" he called. The Kyokuju woman smiled and just shook her head, her mind thinking back to the events of the day. "You can't tell me your giving up after just push-ups, crunches, and planking, right?" she joked knowing that it was hard to keep up with herself some times. "Perhaps I have overdone it." she thought, slowing to a stop. Turning around she looked at the exhausted man with a smile. "If you beat me in an arm wrestle, we're done for the day." she said, a sparkle of hope flashed in his eyes. Moving to a bench, they sat down and prepared... and he lost in less than three seconds. "Come on, just one more mile!" she encouraged before setting off once again.

Release Restraint
Itsuki watched him carefully as he took his starting sense. The calm before the storm for both sides, and then he acted. Handseals and suddenly a tree thrust itself from the ground behind Itsuki, wrapping bark covered arms around her body to trap her. The man smiled and this made Itsuki only more determined to escape. She tried to force her way out, but it didn't feel like anything was changing, no creaks in the wood at all. "Genjutsu." she thought to herself, and then quickly calm her mind to clear herself of the jutsu. In moments her feet were on the ground. With a smile she called out to him: "Again!" You see, Itsuki and this man were sparring, and he was using his binds on her so she could practice countering them and avoiding them.

Concentrated Focus
There was a new ANBU jutsu she had learned, Body Bind. It was specifically potent in her case because it was cast through the eyes instead of with hand seals, which was potent due to her near three hundred and sixty degree vision. She could paralyze any man or woman within a pretty hefty radius which proved to be quite useful in apprehending subjects. This was found out one night when one of Kumo's own shinobi had commited murder against a rival clan and the ANBU were called in. Unfortunate for the man, he believed he could outrun them, but it was Itsuki who located and kept him under constant paralysis while the rest of her squad caught up to him.

Sixth Sense
It was dark, and a thick fog covered the field. Itsuki was standing in grass that was up to her chest. She was putting herself through training where she purposefully avoided using her Byakugan. In the field were people and targets she needed to locate through reasoning and her other sensory organs. She calmed her mind and closed her eyes, not like they were helping in the fog anyways. Slipping down into the moisture covered plans, she began to move through vegetation unseen so the others wouldn't be able to spot her approaching. With what seemed like dumb luck, she found two of her targets while they were in transit, but was it luck? Or a new sense to replace her missing eyes...

Insight
"Heart rate elevated, chakra seems erratic and out of control." she said to herself as she hid behind a corner, her vision locked on her target. This person didn't seem like the regular criminal, but rather someone who had made a mistake and made a snap judgement to run. Perhaps she didn't need to kill them; her orders were to capture dead or alive, so it was up to her. Itsuki stepped our from the corner with hands at her side, there were no weapons to sheath because her hands were her weapons. "Hey we don't need to fight." she began. "I know you didn't mean to, and my bosses will understand. Let's just get you somewhere safe so you can explain what happened. I'll keep you safe." she promised, her words somewhat muffled by the mask she was wearing. It was thanks to her insight that kept this person from dying.

Willpower
Itsuki grunted as she felt the mental toll on her body, one of her eyes squinted in pain. With clenched teeth she focused on the jutsu Cancel, which previously had needed handseals. But using handseals was a weakness she couldn't afford in battle. So there she was practicing against one of the veteran genjutsu artists of the ANBU branch. "Clear your mind, it's about clarity of mind and spirit." she reminded herself of the words the very man who was doing this to her had spoken. With a long inhale her expression changed and the man before her smiled. "Well done Itsuki, but we need to practice it until you can master it." he warned and then began another mental assault on her mind. This would keep up for weeks until she was an expert at the cancel jutsu.

Quick Reaction
"Dodge, strike!" thought Itsuki as her partner missed a punch. I swift poke to one of their tenketsu points in their arm was all she could manage in such a short burst of time. "You need to utilize their imbalance..." said the woman to herself as her opponent dashed in once again for the offensive. Once again she dodged one of his kicks and this time went into her sixteen hit combo technique. Because the man was put off balance by her dodge it was much easier to connect her strikes against his body. Several of them hit more vital areas and incapacitated him and he had to surrender. While normally Itsuki would be proud of this, it was just proof she had more work to do.

Jutsu Creator
Efficiency was key in Taijutsu, and that's what Itsuki was working on today. If she could get in more blows to the opponent in less time, then it was a successful day of training. One particular combination was proving to be quite difficult. She was trying to bring the idea of her Chakra Circulatory Assault into another set of unarmed jutsu. But with practice, and great chakra expenditure, Itsuki had succesfully got all strikes off onto a dummy. But a mannequin wasn't a true person. Because people were unpredictable. She would need to sure up her accuracy location of her strikes if she wanted to make them count.

Combat Instinct
Keeping a cool head in a fight was very important. Temper and emotion could compromise the mission or your very well being. This was something Itsuki understand all to often and she would purposefully pit herself against multiple fighters to practice remaining calm and collected. While she often took a beating because of this, it was teaching her how to harness her emotions and use them against specific opponents. After all, people who focused on one thing at a time did that one thing very well instead of focusing on too many things and doing them all half-assed. A lesson she learned from daily. Every time she would spar, she would last a little longer until she eventually won.

Poison Resistance
If there was one thing every shinobi should do in their lifetime, it is to build up a resistance to poison. Upon the advice of one of the ANBU instructors, Itsuki took it upon herself to start building up tolerances for poisons. First starting with the weaker poisons and then moving onto the strong. She would take very little at a time, consciously knowing of the pain and torment to come, and then slowly increased the doses to those similar of what a hostile target might try to administer to her. Even she was able to ignore most weak poisons available to the general public through the black marker, and only had trouble with poisons that were almost specifically used by other shinobi.
