Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Akkuma stood in a massive chamber he had turned into one of the clans many libraries. Having sent for young Chouko he had decided to go through some recent reports while he waited for the girl to arrive. One of his many duties as Head of the Clan was ensuring the youth were properly trained. He was slightly concerned about the progress the young kunoichi was making. It seemed that socially she seemed more inclined to stick to the clan. Which was not an issue at all but he didn't want her getting left behind the other members. Deciding to take a more hands on approach to her tutelage.

It was the Sages hope that under his guidance she would grow to be a fine representative of the clan. His hand ran over the cover of an old tome from his days in Mist. A research relic from his old days in the Great shinobi village. Light danced across the room as the flames of the torches that lit the room flickered as the chamber doors opened. Turning that diamond-like eye & it's crimson counterpart would hold the newcomer in his gaze. A warm smile upon his face as he greeted his kin. "Evening Chouko I was hoping to have a word with you don't mind." he would say with that welcoming look upon his face. Outside of the clan Akkuma was renowned for his monstrous acts. But those inside of the clan knew he would do whatever was required to protect his people.

"I was hoping we might be able to discuss the possibility of you becoming my apprentice. Your Instructors tell me you aren't an active participant of your classes. I thought you might better grow under my personal tutelage." he would say to the young kunoichi. Akkuma suspected she had great potential, in fact he was certain she may have even been limiting how much of herself she revealed to those around her. Under no circumstance would he allow one of his kin to feel like he did not care for them or worry about there future. He considered it his duty to aid each of them in achieving their dreams. That slicked back white hair of his shined in the light of the fires. The ends of runic glyphs could be seen tracing down his limbs & collarbone.

A legendary shinobi who's reputation spanned the great shinobi nations. For a shinobi of his age he had accomplished much. Unified a people under one house & led them across nations. He'd conquered beings from different realms & mastered the most forbidden of techniques.

It was the first time, the little girl had been called by Akkuma, though she didn't seem to be bothered by it. Chouko got ready and headed to the library where Akkuma was waiting, she reluctantly walked and bowed her head when she faced him, it wasn't something she would normally as her pride didn't allow her to. But Chouko knew a lot about Akkuma, sure maybe not a lot of details but her parents talked to her about him even before this encounter. When he started talking to her, she stood silently and listened like a good child, oddly enough even paying attention.

"I don't like the instructors and all the other kids are stupid.... Chouko doesn't like going there." Chouko had a weird habit to refer to herself in the third person sometimes, he parents though never said anything as they thought it was cute. She really didn't really like being around a lot of people and she actually thought that the kids her age were a bit to stupid to bother socializing with them, so acting childishly had become a habit. " I do appreciate the offer though if you don't consider it to be bothersome." She said and smiled before stepping closer to him " Ne ne~ what do I have to do as your apprentice ". She was looking quite excited as long as he kept her interested and doesn't make her do stuff that she considered to be boring she probably wouldn't complain.

Akkuma smiled at the child's discipline at least she understood who was important enough to respect. He listened to her words & chuckled "Perhaps they are..." he would say giving a warm smile. When she spoke her next words he sighed "Of course not I would prefer you excel rather then fail because you're disinterested." he would say once more taking a few steps towards a shelf & looking over it's contents. While he did this he pondered how best to answer her, after giving it some thought he turned & began to speak. Everything about his body language said one thing he was a king unto himself. This was not a man to wrong.

"You would be expected to train under me, travel with me & deal with any duties or tasks I delegate to you. Should you prove yourself competent I may decide to even place you upon the council. Your training subjects would include but not be restricted to; diplomacy, espionage, martial training, occult studies, forbidden arts & the shinobi arts. Just to list a few..." he would say with a chuckle. "Don't worry I'm sure you'll find your time with me vastly more interesting then that spent with those who considered themselves your peers." with those words he would remove a book from the shelf. Titled the effects of chakra & it's many workings within the body. Not the most interesting of resources but it contained an easily understandable explanation behind chakra. Everything from it's production, transformation & expenditure (well everything they possessed on the subject) one of the most extensive & sought after books of it's kind.

Walking up to Chouku he would hand her the book as he spoke his next words his eyes assessing her. "To your knowledge are there any special gifts that might be lying dormant within your genetics? If anyone within your family has possessed such skills it may prove beneficial to begin a series of stress tests in order to force their activation." he would say in a matter of fact tone walking back to a different shelf searching through the books. This time retrieving one consisting of the various shinobi roles & career paths within Sunagakure. Reaching further down & grabbing one that encompassed the possible employment perspectives from the clan. Wallking back to her he would hand the young kunoichi those books as well. "You must read the first book, it will provide you with an invaluable understanding of chakra. As for the other two to truly design the right educational plan for you I'll need to know what career path you wish to enter." he would say with a large smile upon his face even though he knew what he was asking her to do was not interesting.
