Karasu was finally out of class and was walking in the hallway. She was lost in thought as usual. She learned a lot today but there was one question that kept dawning on her. It was something that the Sensei asked the class. What was their nindo their ninja way. Karasu thought long and hard but she couldn't figure out how to know what this really meant. She wasn’t sure who she was yet. She was new to this village and so far things are turning out good but she was still wary of what may happen. Every village she was in before turned on her and became violent making her and her father leave. How was she going to find out what her ninja way is. “Maybe it’s just to survive” she said out loud to no one in particular. She didn’t know if anyone heard her. She was quiet all the time and really didn’t speak to anyone.
She continued walking slowly, not really going anywhere in particular. Students were going out of their classes and into the hallways heading to various places. Karasu thought that she must be behind everyone in her classes. She had low expectations only because of her personal experience with people. She really hasn’t yet developed any relationship with any of the students. On top of that she needed to stay atop of her studies. She owed it to her mother and her father to do her best. A slight determination came over her as she once again spoke out loud. “Right! I must find my own way.” She was looking at the ground as she walked not watching where she was going. It was like her feet were leading her without her being conscious of it.
