Yuii wasn't one to take on students easily. She'd had her brief time as an academy teacher, even taken on a couple students as a sensei, but teaching wasn't her calling. Sure she could get some delight from running the bratty kids through obstacle courses until they threw up, or make the spirited 'genki' kids punch rocks until either their knuckles or their spirits broke; but inevitably got bored, got negligent and someone got hurt. It just wasn't worth the lectures from the medical branch.

And so, in her last few years of running the Main Branch of Kumogakure, Yuii had taken a total of two 'official' students, and only then at the behest of the aging Academy Headmistress. For the first student she had scoffed and grumbled, certain the old woman was punishing her the only way she could, but by the second she understood that Hatako, Emi had a gift for matching student to teacher. The girls, her girls, had not been boring, they had needed her particular branch of cheery, no nonsense instructions and apathetic coaching and eventually they had moved on. They had liked to be told things once and left to make their mistakes or die trying, Yuii had appreciated that.

And yet, while Yuii was willing to admit Emi had been right twice, she still found herself cringing at the request set in from of her one Sunday morning meeting while their tea was still hot.

"This one is interesting. Panahime, Eimin" Emi had said, knowing exactly what Yuii was thinking as always as she glanced over the dossier filled with details, "we've had trouble assigning her because we're worried about her being around other students." The description had made her frown. Immediately Yuii's mind had flown to one of the common, passive shrinking violets that sometimes reached Genin through skill but couldn't deal with the course, competitive nature among their fellows. Those were not her kind of student, they were better suited for the softness of the medical branch, so what was Emi even thinking?

Yuii had opened her mouth to say no, however Emi had cut her off, "We're worried about the other students. There's been no incident but the therapy is troubling. Read her file, you might remember the incident." That was a better hook. Suddenly Yuii had found the paperwork in front of her far more interesting, even worth the read, which said something. Yuii hated to read.

It had taken the Sennin only a few minutes of skimming to pick up exactly what Emi was thinking. Once again, Emi was right. "Fine, I'll do it. I'll send you a time and place for her." Yuii had grumbled, not wanting to seem eager, "If she sucks, I'll knock your retirement back another decade."

-----------

And so a time and place was set. Yuii wasn't an incredibly patient person, so 'sending a time' had become 'the next day' before their meeting had been done. That left Panahime very little notice in regards to their first meeting, but Yuii wouldn't have it any other way. Genin needed to be prepared for a mission or call at any time, anyhow. As for the place; only the seedy underbelly of Kumogakure would do. Her notice would specify a small bakery in the middle of town; not exactly the usual spot for a lesson

Yuii would arrive early, as she always did. The blue haired woman would be easy to spot among the peoples of the cronopolis. Her pink, garish sweater with frayed daisy patches on the cuffs and elbows paired with blue and yellow polka dotted leggings made her impossible to miss. Her sky blue hair, brighter than any patch of sky that could be spotted so low in village, was its usual moppish mess. Her eye held a distinct twinkle as she watched people pass over a mouthful of donut. The crowd circled wide around her save a few brave children that played near by, making it obvious even the people here had some indication of white, if not who, she was.

Once(if) approached she would offer up a donut from the box in her lap and simply give a tired sigh, "Oh, look. You found me."

No. No. Transversely, rotation of a ball allowed the drifting ebony to stain upon parchment, the formation of x marks granted creation from the puppeteering of a pen held within fingers—The X marked the listing questions answered with disinterest; a quiz of their wish within shinobi advancement. Some desired the medical field, some the defensive field, some with ninjutsu with special elemental requests, everyone in a rush to mark their desires upon the request forum in the form of a quiz… Everyone, but Panahime, formally addressed as Eimin, the girl flared with brilliance and wonder, behind those blue hues was an abyss—Hollow shell of a girl that merely danced between class work and private session, including her therapy.

Glossing over her options, even in freedom, did she feel everso caged. Their pure hearts held to something to prove... Everyone held their dreams to serving their village, attempting to be the next Raikage or supposedly akin close to another Sennin—Desiring the best training under someone they could get. Distasteful, she thought. This was one sided as a test, it didn’t really have anything to due with what the student marked, but what the village needed… However. She supposed... She could be honest. Far from christmas treeing all the sixty-two questions that were either yes or no—Marked in line. All her answers held themselves as a no interest. Special training? She didn’t care. Front line? She didn’t care.

Placing down the pen within engraved place that held it, she picked herself up with paper in hand as she slipped out of her seat to turn in such a forum—Approaching the desk at the front of the class. The conversation of the other students were heard as they talked about an interesting guest had been visiting the academy today, some seemed concerned and some curious as to why, this Kagetsu person that seemed to be conversing another room somewhere in the late morning of that day. As Panahime handed over her paper over, her head turned upon the door opening and to her sight. An adult in uniform on part of that of what the medical staff dressed, the adult female held out a note with a smile that held itself rather forced into happiness, when it would much rather show concern had approached the lone girl… Instead of her teacher taking the paper, the adult eased her over the sheet, she collected it as she parted her thin lips to across as the Hime turned to look up to the female with her soft cheery smile and blue hues.

Eimin-san. I am here to inform you, as apart of your graduation. You will no longer be returning to this academy—” Presenting the girl with a kumogakure band, symbol and all within a small box, along with a note. As she carried to speak. “You will be meeting up with a specific sensei, Kagetsu, Yuii. At this locate tomorrow.” She finished. Pointing at the paper she offered the Hime, as she gave the direction on the paper. Held within her hands, Panahime found herself smiling at the female as she gave this information and once their exchange was over. With not much as a word from her, herself, she departed to go to her home, within the hospital, so. It seemed therapy was still a go.

As the day came to a pass. She curled into her bed with a sea of thoughts. Without so much as her permission nor a hint, not that she complaining, this knowledge was sudden and unexpected—After all, they were attempting to push a normal life down her throat. Unexpected was interesting, but irritating… For years, the facade held itself so sharp and each step held itself closer to the results she wanted, the things she worked to. Following the rules and bending to them. But… Something had changed. She made a mistake somewhere it seemed. If such was the case. She’ll simply play smarter. Be more clever in her conversations with this new female, this Yuii person. This sensation was growing again. Scratching at the surface. Bearing her fangs to her tongue. So close. So close. Exhaling as she lied to her side. The white sphere in the abyssal sky gracing her face as she stared to the twinkling stars.

With the passage of that called time. For a moment. Petals were found dancing in the distance as they sunk upon the ground that turned into a liquid surface—Narrowing, those hues found blue closed.

———————————————————————————————

Upon dawn, those blue hues were reflected in her likeness. Starting her morning at six am, her welcome to the world was her graceful shower and honey-lavender scent—The living space of a human pet with special treatment. Dripping along the pale white tiles called her flooring, the cold floor bothered her bot as she stood atop of her rug. A towel ruffled through her hair as she hummed her lighthearted tune—“Ahhhhh. ♩ ♪ ♫” She exclaimed in a gentle vocalized tone. Looking into her reflection, those canine were seemed to only getting sharper and those found already grown in, mainly those resting behind her canines, her molars would make a piranha jealous… They were just more subtle and less uncomfortable… But abnormal and worrying nonetheless. Guess this was why she made sure to take great care of her teeth. One hand folding the towel, her other hand found itself holding her toothbrush as a minty-salt taste danced on her tongue.

Wandering out of her bathroom, she tossed her folded towel on her neatly made bed as she grabbed her freshly cleaned clothing and bandage wrappings—Scanning over the location of that letter. Sitting on her nightstand, she grabbed it with her hand awhile trailing her way back into the bathroom, finishing her dental care with a good mouthrinse; no blood this time, that was good. Lifting her head from the sink, she looked at herself in the mirror one more time and, she could promise, staring back at her was herself, covered in blood with a monstrous smile—Blinking only dismissed the illusion. Turning from her mirror with note in hand, she moved to her bed as she choose to finally ready herself for the day. Doing the trivial things, such as hair braiding and wrapping up her bosom, along with those hands of hers, along with…. Breakfast in the form of pills and rice. She found herself out the door with paper and headband attached to her loop on her skirt, murmuring not a single word to anyone within the hospital as she departed from her window—After all, why would she? Everyone by this point knew of Panahime as the person who was social until she found the perfect exit, it seemed. As she departed. Her day had started.

———————————————————————————————

Foreign to her. Dancing around the crowds on the streets and aimed herself to the middle of town with little contact with anyone, taking the more dangerous path. The alleyways. Daring not expressing her disgust held within her tiny body. She attempted to keep her mind open towards this Kagetsu, who she found out was on the line of a Sennin, between high and low expectations—Neutral thought. The expectation of nothingness, be as a person and nothing in common; someone, she internally wanted to reject already. Nonetheless, Panahime found herself glossing over the simple factor that this situation, single handedly, ruined her planning of today… She supposed the ANBU thing was going to have to wait. If she didn’t show up, which she was thinking about doing, she would’ve caught something in the term of another boring session of questions and answer dancing. So. Apart from her normal sessions in isolated areas, something outside of her comfort zone, she found herself motioning from a sprint into a jog and into a walk—The Cronopolis, right? That was the name of this place. And she was looking for a small bakery.

Hitting a main square of sorts, the place was really buzzing around this part—Within the heart of the location. Her blue hues looked for a sign, a smell or a familiar figure with the picture she was shown and details she was given, standing outside of the bakery that was a good twenty feet away from her. She motioned herself that way, a brisk walk as her braids swayed within the breeze produced from her body. She wanted to meet here..? Ceasing within her steps as her hues looked to the sign and then the building, if she could even call it that, of the bakery specified. Naturally, she could’ve questioned it farther, but the fact people seemed to be making the widest of gliding around an icy haired female figure, this was the bakery. Collecting herself. Pasting her best smile upon her pale pink lips, she didn’t bother adjusting her clothes and merely attempted to appear as her normal cheerful-friendly childish self—Trailing herself to the bakery, moving the cloth that seemed to be some weird act of privacy.

Approaching this female, that seemed to have almost the same interesting attired, as the Panahime, herself has, plus the style, more so the level of interesting—From behind, if this was Yuii. She seemed to be quite beautiful as a person, but intimidating to others. Breaking and stopping at the four foot of distance mark and murmuring not a word, the petite girl presented herself simply. Draping from her shoulders was her hoari if she dared to call it that, with her top being simple bandage wrapping and a skirt that exposed a single leg—Not a style of clothing that really comforts someone from the sometimes freezing weather Kumogakure goes through almost daily sometimes.

Greeted with a donut and a tired sigh. Pana tilted her head to the right by an inch with the wave of her hand, a gesture of desiring not a donut—Needing not to ask the female who she was. Extended her right hand with a note, offering it to Yuii. Upon said note, wrote in a neat fashion, it read. “Hello. I am Eimin. I have been informed you have planned to be my new tutor.”. In place of her voice, Panahime was given her example of Not the best talker for a reason.

It was said that the Main Branch Sennin was always smiling, bit the curve of her lips did not much the sharpness of her gaze as she looked Panahime over. What met her was a child coloured not unlike herself and dressed completely in one of the least appropriate costumes Yuii had seen in a long time. It was usually the man hungry chuunin or Jounin that decided to slip into the obscene and impractical which it came to their dress; not the little kids. Yuii reserved comment however, she wasn't normally one to take issue with another person's clothing, but this was bridging on obscene.

The elder bluenette sniffed with derision as the girl arrived and had the audacity to turn down a doughnut. They were the princes of confection, second only to the majesty of a properly baked and decorated cake. These in particular were the crowned prince themselves; soft, fluffy, perfectly glazed and delicious to the crumb. One did not That was it then, she decided, practically inhaling her treat in a single bite, Emi had been wrong. How could she possibly train a child that wouldn't eat sweets? She was akin to the devil itself! Emi wouldn't take, 'she didn't eat a doughnut' as an excuse through. While Yuii was TECHNICALLY the elders boss, her inner child still held a healthy amount of respect and fear for her once academy teacher.

The piece of paper only solidified her feelings. How was she even supposed to teach a kid that wasn't willing to speak to her? Hell, how was this kid going to become anything but a doorstop in the shinobi world? You had to talk to get information to complete missions- most missions in her branch anyways. "Well aren't you an odd duckling," Yuii with an exasperated sigh, rolling the paper into a ball between her thumb and forefinger then flicking it at the nearest pigeon roaming for garbage. Bits of feather exploded as it met a very sudden end, startling the rest of its fellows into flight, "I guess asking about your skills or desires as far as my tutoring you goes is out of the question?" She didn't really wait for an answer, just stood, licked the glaze from her fingers and glanced in both directions down the street.

Another long, pained sigh saw her staring up the stack of buildings, clearly in thought. She needed a good, solid way to show Emi she was wrong. They'd be better for it in the end. She opened her mouth to vocalize her plan, but what came out was not her own voice.

"Bird!" cried a familiar voice as from the shadows as a tigress easily as tall as Panahime's elbow at shoulder height pounced out onto the dead bird. The dead thing, feathers and all, was gobbled up in as much time as Yuii had taken on her sweets and another of the brave pigeons that had returned became a second morsel. "Yummy," the giant Sumatran purred, licking her lips. She didn't seem to notice the blue pair, at least not until Yuii growled.

"I told you I didn't need help!" she hissed at her friend, "You never listen!"

Tilting her head. Those bothersome words were nothing short of vexatious, breaking along the corners of her lips, she beamed a soft, childish and tricksy smile—Tearing at the flesh, irritation found itself somewhere feeding off the commented attuned sigh. odd duck. Smiling harder in place of this irritation and these welcoming words of the tutor in question, Panahime wasn’t fond with the situation and kept that to herself, among thousands of other things, such as. Just about everyone either made her feel broken or out of place. If it wasn’t the clothes, it was the personality and if it wasn’t those two, it was her features, bless it not be that, the fact she didn’t show her personality, along since stopped trying Pretending seemed to be a task that within itself, one she kept failing at… So. She was well adapted with vagueness among her therapist… And now.. She supposed a perfect mixture between being as difficult as possible, awhile as willing as possible were the best. Though.. She asked herself, was it wrong? Should she at least TRY to make an impression? She questioned it as those blue hues of hers allowed the balled up papers flicked path, a peaceful pigeon roaming found it’s untimely end by an amazingly strong flick of by this lady—Impressive. Was strength the reason she was chosen? She asked herself, turning to look upon the female once again, head tilted once more.

Sticking their neck out for her, she couldn’t understand the reasonings or the motive for it. She almost wanted to murmur a word at what the female said, this Kagetsu as she asked a question. Skill… Desire… She thought. For a second, she reflected on the childish conversation she was listening to, about how tutors were suppose be helpful and did really care about their underlings, or something on that line. Her smiled faded into a concerned or thought ridden low-frown and for a moment, those lips started to part. Motioning her tongue to follow the pronunciation patterns of common language, that was foreign to her and almost adjusted to, those sharp teeth were like blades ready to tear her tongue open if she motioned all too wrong. “A—” She started, her lips parted just enough to were those fangs of hers didn’t dig into her lip, but… As the one letter dared to vocalize itself, a small flash, that memory of what was in the mirror wiggled into her mind and like that, the sore thought made her, just as quickly as it appeared, was just as quickly as she discontinued speaking. As positive as that memory was, it was dark too… It took the single echoing word within her mind to make her reconsider everything—Freak. That shut her up real good.

Stepping backwards as the woman who hadn’t expected an answer, almost got one. The girl found herself fold arms over her bosom as those arms of hers tucked themselves under respective opposite sleeve, her head tilted downward a bit as she thought onward on a few things. At the start of it, she didn’t want to really say anything, but another side of her found the idea of attempting to befriend this woman a benefit to herself…As it appeared that the female before her was trying to make some effort into knowing the girl, awhile others were making some attempt to help her. Both, she didn’t care for. She couldn’t trust anyone. As far as she knew and understood, she was just a girl with the ability to use chakra and seemed like a weapon to Kumogakure. She wasn’t here to be liked, but to function and if she couldn’t do that, she would be tossed.

Open in ears, her deep process of thinking didn’t hinder her ability to pay attention to her surroundings, despite being reckless or careless. So. The moment she heard an interesting sound, not from the lady before her and taken known to Kagetsu’s expression, Panahime followed the bluenette’s hues. And with a small blinking second, with the girl’s hues widening in shock and disbelief, there was a tiger, an animal she hasn’t ever seen before and only heard of, right before and quite casually feasting on another bird that was quite.. Well… Bird brained! The tiger enjoying itself, purring and pleased with her tongue trailing in attempt to clean her lips, she was massive compared and stunning tothe girl more and possibly, almost making her appear as terrified.

As Yuii expressed distaste in her growl, going as far as to explain that she didn’t require help and the creature seemed to stubborn to listen such words—Panahime expressed something completely in opposite. Cupping her hand over her mouth, tiny giggle slipped because it was funny. They wanted this person to teach Panahime, but she couldn’t get her tiger to even listen, but maybe, it was the fact of something else.. Maybe. The situation was just cute. She wouldn’t have expected such a creature to belong to this woman, maybe, that was why?

As those giggles cross from her lips and through her hand, she dropped her hand for a moment with a soft smile, one that wasn’t overbearing and actually seemed to be something close to happy; brighter and all the more real just for that moment. Caught in her excitement, she clapped both of her hands together. She knew what she wanted to do! Facing Yuii and with her hands positioned in something close to begging or a prayer, she leaned forward in direction of Yuii. “Please. Let me pet the tiger!” Breaking her silence with a gentle shout of a beg, being almost respectful enough to ask to pet it instead of just walking up to it and petting it, possibly getting attacked in the process. Screw cutting her tongue or showing her teeth, she wanted to pet that massive cat! Blinking for a moment to realize how she sounded, she slowly blinked again. Dropping her hands to her sides as she straightened her posture, with a sigh, she spoke again but to add. “It’s my first time seeing anything aside from a stray cat or pigeon.” She offered reason, calmly, despite the overbearing excitement at it’s best. Guess she did have a few childish sides.

The entire escapade put the people walking by on edge, but they didn't seem upset to see such a large predator out in the village. Summons were common enough that most people had seen a peek or two of them in their years. All had heard of the tigress that shadowed the village's main branch sennin. One was rarely without the other when they were in public.

"It's no trouble, really. I'm always here to help." Oniyuri answered Yuii, licking the bits of flying rat from between her claws. Her yellow eyes crinkled up with human-like amusement as she watched her chosen contract holder fume, making Yuii seethe further. She was matronly in how she sat now, a cold opposite from the moment before. The girl like squeal over the bird seemed to be a lapse, just like an elder woman might swoon, giggle or cheer over something that made them happy. Bird made Oniyuri giddy, drew up the kitten inside her who had once spent afternoons chasing the feathered creatures of her other plane. She just couldn't help herself.

Yuii should have known the tigress would show up. She had been her shadow for weeks now, and no amount of convincing had kept her away. Slip away, go where the human smells were overpowering? It might have been a smart plan if Oniyuri was a regular tiger, but no matter where Yuii went she always, always found her. Her and her appetite. "Like you could even help. You're being ridiculous, no one wants to watch you eat birds!" she lectures, sorely wishing she could lock the misbehaving tiger in a choke hold. There were two good reasons she couldn't the crowd being the first, but she would show her ire later! "See, she's laughing at you."

The elder woman gestured to the younger, her eyebrows raised. Oniyuri coughed up a feather and turned her gaze, still very much laughing silently. "No, she finds me charming," Yuii's face turned red, and she huffed as if ready to reply. nut it was her turn to not get a word in edgewise, "She's laughing at the very idea that you could order my magnificence to do anything other than exactly what I want to be doing. Rather futile, don't you think? One would think you'd never heard the story about herding cats." There was a glint of interest in Oniyuri's eye as she studied Panahime. She didn't look at her clothing, that didn't matter to a tiger, but absorbed the fact that the pale, blue hued girl was not shivering from the cold. She didn't care that the scrawny girl hadn't spoken much, her body language was solid and respectful. Her gaze seemed to pierce through the odd girl, and she grinned.

"Don't ask her, she'll say no to spite us both," she laughed, presenting her head and neck for one of the tasks humans did best, "Shoulders and head if you please." Oniyuiri's tail flicked happily as she made eye contact with Yuii once again whom has lapsed to grumbling.

"I'm going to shave you in your sleep," she threatened.

"Sure you are." Yuri replied, like a mother to her pouting child, "Now, what was the wisdom I supposedly interrupted?" She arched, yawned, then brought her chin up for Pana to scratch as well.

Yuii sighed and held the bridge of her nose. She hadn't really had a plan. First days like this were usually just a meet and greet, but she'd been inclined to throw Panahime Eimin in the social deepened to test her limits and, hopefully, be free of her. "Oh, well, shopping I guess..." she admitted irritably through ground teeth.

Oniyuri looked ready to laugh, an odd expression on any animal. "You mean you were going to make another one of your protege run errands while you napped," she chided, rolling her eyes at the younger girl. "Sounds boring. Doesn't that sound boring, darling? This one is so much better than that finger tied fire breather and the blood bag. Just lovely."

Yuii just turned her chin away and huffed. No comment.

Opposite, expressing a humored and childish expression. The conflict between a tigress and her contracted carried on with a display close to enemies, but undoubted, two that knew eachother well and were more than just best friends—Family, it seemed. Sadly, a concept that almost flew over the young girl’s head, as family was little more beings bound by same blood and soon the same ending, being death. Not love, affection nor care. Nonetheless, despite the difference, she had an unexplained nature towards animals, specially big animals or creatures that held themselves by side with humans in a type of bond that she wished, one day, she could understand. This nature was something she couldn’t pretend to have, thus, it was always an honest feeling. Now. As the blue orbs dared to look to Yuii with a glittering desire and amazement with a question of pure curiosity, almost forgetting about her devilish plot of spite to those that advised her and in form of excitement.

Knitting together, her brows expressed a sense of confusion to something mentioned, something she found interesting between the, what she thought to be, a mother and daughter conversational fighting. “Herding.. Cats..?” She murmured, gently questioning outloud to what a herding cat was. Crawling upon her skin, the tickle of her core. Her attention had found itself divided with her head turning to a gentle tilt, peering to the tiger who held itself in elegance as her presence had graced the group. As a cat whom held herself as a huntress, those feline eyes peered sharpy through the young Panahime, as she flicked her tail around with a mouth full of words to say. Her question had not been answered by the tutor, but by the tiger who seemed quite fond of the idea and even more so fond with annoying the older lady. Rolling from between those lips from the depths of her chest, she giggled with a yeyying expression“Thank you” She said with the soft clap of her hands as the happiness lit over her face.

Departing from Yuii, who seemed to be pouting in her own way in childish resentment. The young girl caught a better view of the tiger, her coat seemed smooth like velvet and white like snow, brown disguised as black, these stripes painted the white in an interesting pattern. Caught between brave and foolish, or risky, noone should ever walk up to a creature bigger than them, specifically, when they are eating, even if invited—’cause maybe, she could’ve been next on the menu. However, Panahime was too far gone. She held a interest and she was going to follow it. Speaking of interest, possibly there was something more to this tutor than those before her, had she jumped the gun? Should she reconsider her thoughts and actions?

Had there as many colors as there are human beings, she had accepted the fact she will carry on being colorblind and miss out on everything… At least, most things. Just not this. Pressing her knees against the cold ground, she flitched not nor dropped her honest expression of a childish smile—Fingers ready to brush the right ear of the tiger. Glowing within her blue hues was a wonder that wanted nothing more than to be enlightened about the massive creature that now happened to be right in front of her. “Shave…? Such a shame. You are smooth…” She murmured to the tiger with a pause almost as if she was catching her thought as her fingers glided down the ear, with her palm smoothing down to rub in a gentle pet around her head to turn and meet the tiger’s raising chin to be inched with her fingers. “No.. You are just really soft.” She said with a whisper and smile, those murmurs and whispers being nothing more than an honest thought being shared with an absent mind. Easily more comfortable with animals, her speech even changed to be more clear and less broken, quite different altogether—She was nothing more than an awestuck child at this point.

But, even those were short lived. Because as soon as Yuii mentioned shopping. She realized how serious her issue was at this moment. The girl moved her hand away with the turn of her body whilst her butt planted on the ground—Hues daring to look straight at the tutor with a sense of shock. Where the tiger seemed to express something quite abnormal on most animals, she still remained humored, quite humored, as she managed to speak first and dared to ask for the young girl’s opinion too. Something far from timid to express. Nodding her head to the tiger, the young girl simply shifted to her feet. Standing.

Pivoting on her heel, she turned to look directly at the exquisite blue haired tutor—Folding her arms over her own chest as those lips parted to dare speak up once more. With a different tone and tune. That happy smile fading into a blink expression that seemed more serious and apathetic. “Such a bother..” She said in a whisper almost impossible to be heard, pausing in her thought with her words as she looked back to the tiger, breaking along the seams, her lips formed a mischievous smile and with her wicked nature almost appearing beyond that childish impression. “She should reconsider that idea if she had been me... Mm.. She’d ruin everything I have planned tonight and that simply will not do, not do at all. ” She pondered this in her mind, not murmuring this at all.

Lifting her left hand to press against her chin, she glared at the female almost as if she was studying her some type of way, being a more open in her ideas and motives. Yes. The lady would ruin quite a bit. If she had to, she’d threaten dragging her name all in the dirt and mud. From a soft tone, the songstress spoke more maturely compared to those her age—Captivating, her voice was enticing and quite melodious. “Excuse me… Kagetsu-san… Why were you suggested to take me as a student?” She dared to ask.

As this question dared to exit her lips, that smile was shining again. “Forget that.. I truly wish not to know that... I actually just want you to dismiss me. You are much too skill to have someone like me as a student, correct?” She spoke again, playing a few cards she knew quite well.

Yuii stared between cat and child and sighed with defeat. 'Boring' huh? That was pretty much what she was going for and by refusing to listen Eimin was already giving Yuii exactly what she needed. An outright refusal and Yuii could boot her down the line to some hapless Chuunin working triple teaching jobs who wouldn't even learn the kids name. It was tempting, very tempting, but the way Oniyuri's eyes were gleaming made the sennin wonder if it wouldn't be so easy.

Placing her head in her paws in human like pose that echoed Eimin's, Oniyuri slashed her tail through the air and seemed to smile. "You see, she was. There's no learning value in that, unless you want to end up playing with paper in a giant heated cave you humans call an office." The joke was a pointed stab at Yuii's unwanted lifestyle, and the tiger licked her lips as Yuii narrowed her eyes to a glare, "I will take you both hunting, and we will have red meat for everyone's health. It's good for growing cubs." She met Yuii with a humored tilt of her head, her lip curling up to bare teeth. Somehow, that was checkmate.

The sound of the crowd moving around them suddenly became loud in Yuii's ears. Hunting did seem like a way better past time than errands. It would also be something more akin to physical training instead of a mindless set of demeaning tasks. If it didn't feel way too much like she was letting Oniyuri win Yuii could have been happy about the change of plan. She squirmed, trying to work out a way to say yes without crushing them all with Oniyuri's giant ego.

Before she could agree, however, Eimin had a plan of her own.

"Why?" she echoed, suddenly caught with her proverbial pants down. How did she admit to having no idea while still maintaining her very fabricated air of authority. Whatever was left of it at least after Oniyuri's disgracing. Actually, scratch that, there wasn't anything that she could possibly say at that moment that would knock getting mom voiced by a fur ball with fish breath from number one worst thing to happen that day.

"Beats me," Yuii shrugged nonchalantly, ignoring the younger's retraction of the question. As if it hadn't been bothering her from day one. What about Eimin Panahime was supposed to be so darn interesting that the headmistress would dare putting her in Yuii's lap. "You tell me. Why am I supposed to want to teach you?" Was it similar looks- they were similar but not uncanny? Did they favour a similar fighting style? The girl's file hadn't indicated so. It couldn't have been personality, Yuii was a DELIGHT when she wasn't facing off preteen know it alls.

Now she was blatantly ignoring the little blue's bait to let her off easy. The first question had re-sparked Yuii's curiosity, like a lazer pointer to the wall. "We're going to do what Oniyuri has suggested and hunt. During that, YOU are going to figure out why I should be teaching you. Frankly, I was promised you'd be worth it, but I'm starting to think you were wildly over exaggerated." A smile played at her lips as Yuii stared down her nose at the quiet, defiant little girl, as if she thought she'd won that particular battle of verbal exchanges.

"And you, you striped fleabag, are going to carry us both," Yuii added, scratching back some level of authority. The bemused twinkle in Oniyuri's eye as she nodded and offered her shoulder didn't make her feel too confident it was real though.

Pivoting on a single heel, those arms crossed over her chest as she turned with her back aimed to Yuii as her right palm trailed her face in a reaction that held confusion and a lick of annoyance. How could she NOT know? Was this some attempt to change her course? Her personal goal? Did she have to open up? Express some childishness that seemed more normal or did she have to throw some type of fit? Out of all the things, why did SHE have to get the jackpot of being with a Sennin, no way in hell she was going to be able to talk her way out of this. Possibly, they caught onto her silver tongue and thus as result, she couldn’t feel around as easily for an escape. She’ll mentally bite her tongue for now and, she supposed, she could see what this Yuii was about.

Without splitting her own hairs and allowing growth a few grays within the process, she choose to ignore the mission or quest—Tension found itself within her chest. There was a combination of words that never suited nor sat well with her red meat and hunting. Fresh blood was always as different as old and there was smell within it that made her sick, a special type of sick and for a moment, she almost felt that it was ideal to go shopping instead; regretting her complaint about it. With her own thoughts, she missed her chance to counter and recover her freedom, because as soon as she turned around to face Yuii once more with the drop of her hand, the Sennin spoke up and had choose the course of action with no desire or plan of letting Panahime go.

As her lips parted to murmur a single word. She ceased with a sharp narrow of those hues that dared to glare towards the Sennin—Such annoyance. She had felt insulted a little or possibly a senbon to her pride, a poke if she could call it such. A poke that didn’t sit or stand well with her. Biting down her own her tongue, she dared not to engage in a verbal war with the blue stringed female and accepting her own loss, she’d be damned if some smutty nosed female was going to rain her own damned plane. “The more reason I think this is a mistake.” She uttered those words with a soft hiss that attempted to hide between her distaste for the smile she looked to. As as those words dared to leave her lips, she motioned to the massive tiger.

Cut straight down the log with an axe. She felt a mixture between giving this lady hell or obeying, there could be an issue between the two—She buried that too. “O-nittt-yu-reee.” She murmured to herself in attempts to pronounce the name of the tiger, that seemed easy, but it felt so difficult to her tongue. Two different languages that didn’t co-exist so well. Extending her hand to the tiger, she placed an itch behind the ears one last time and a mirror thought found itself in, she had never once rode an animal… She hadn’t got to ride a horse either. Was that weird?

Placing one hand upon the shoulder of the tiger, attempting to be as gentle as possible, Panahime wiggled her way to sitting on the tiger’s back and undoubtedly between the two. She weighed less than the tiger in every regard. Combing her fingers through the fine hairs of her pelt, she found a place to climb aboard and if it didn’t seem so look so awkward. Now it did. Because the poor songstress found herself attempt to bring her over leg over with a small hop that just didn’t go well as she slid down Oniyuri’s side. Such a hop didn’t even making it over the tiger let alone to its side as she slid back to the ground with her feet planting, her other hand releasing the hairs belonging to the tiger. And bless if the tiger tried to move to help, because she would’ve lept backwards a bit with waving hands motions and something to say.

Obvious enough, she was being quite gentle and every bit of this felt so awkward to her. She held no experience with handle riding, even if the animal was intelligent and nice. “This is so-so awkward..” she murmured.
