Character's Physical Description:
Sairasu is tall; standing at about five foot eleven and has slender physical appearance, with long black hair that hands down to just about her lower back. Her skin appears to be smooth as silk, and white as just about any other Caucasian person. She usually wears several different styles of dresses, with flats or high heels, and some jewelry. The Majority of her equipment is hidden, except for a belt that has several pouches for various items within it. On her left thigh, she wears a shuriken holster and a senbon holster side by side.
Character's Mental Description: Sairasu is very lazy person in general; she’d rather lay around all day, sleep until she was sore, and or sit on her rear end for hours at a time in complete silence. For her, the minor things are so difficult to do because of the effort it takes to do them, only causing her to be a stereotypical member of the Nara bloodline. While she is very lazy, that doesn’t stop her from getting up in the morning and working just to pay her bills, but if she had it her way, she’d marry rich and stay in bed day in and day out. For her, being a shinobi is just the easiest way for her to pay bills.
Much like her parents before her, she’s very intelligent and knowledgeable about just about everything she has ever encountered. Many would say that she sometimes has a radical way of doing things, though she does believe only having to do something once, so that she’d never have to do it again. Even if it meant taking something to the extreme, over preparing, and analyzing every situation a hundred times over before attempting a task. Her views are somewhat similar to that as a civilian. She doesn’t get involved in situations that don’t concern her, thought if she is brought into it, she feels obligated to get involved, but will more than likely find a way to walk away. As far as she’s concerned, living life as a Jounin is about the most she wants to do; being placed in a position of power is the scariest thing to her and she’d much rather meet her end, than have to fulfill all the responsibilities associated with higher position. Overall, she is a rather conserved, calm, relaxed, and lazy individual who tends to be a smart ass with those who disturb her.
Character History:
Sairasu lived a rather normal and pleasant life. Her parents weren’t around much during her childhood, but she understood why. As shinobi, they had responsibilities that had to tend to in order to provide for her growing up. For the most part, she was raised by one of her aunts who had a tendency to harass her about studying so she could grow up and be successful. Though, being successful was never really what she wanted to do, but being useless was totally out of the question for her. Doing what she was told as a child, just to avoid a hassle, she eventually stumbled upon her capabilities as a member of her family.
By the age of six, she was able to manipulate chakra and capable of walking on water with enough concentration. When her mother came home from a mission and realized this, she began teaching her about their Nara heritage and pushing her to attempt to join the villages academy. At first, she just didn’t care, but when her mother showed her what their family was capable of, she began to give It some thought. After a few weeks, she started training with her mother.
It wasn’t long until she realized her capabilities with the use of her shadow, and the shadows all around her. By the age of seven, her mother had taught her how to use their clans signature technique; the shadow possession jutsu. From there, her mother applied to the village’s academy for her and with time, she found herself attending classes on a daily basis.
As the years passed, she found herself quickly learning shinobi tactics, techniques, and skills. Before she knew it, she graduated from the village academy and officially became a Genin for the Cloud Village. She was eleven years old by this time, and of course, she thought it’d all be fun and games from here on out. But, she was wrong. Spending the next few years with a team, she completed several missions and soon found herself taking a chuunin exam with her teammates.
Out of the three of them, she was the only one who passed. Excited at first, she quickly realized that become a chuunin had its benefits, but that it also had a downside. She was required to do nearly twice as much work, look out for the lower ranked members, and continue strive for better progression with her work ethic. This really annoyed the hell out of her, but she sucked it up and just accepted it. Going on several dozen missions, and letting the opportunity to become a Jounin pass her by a few times, she watched her teammates grow in strength and rank. Eventually eighteen, she came to the point where her parents forced her into taking the Jounin exams.
She really didn’t care much for progress further as a Shinobi at this point, but she attempted it anyway out of pressure. The exam was rather easy; at first. Starting off with a written exam, followed by a test of skills, then by being placed in a dangerous situation, and finally by way of a treasure hunt that had several different challenges. By the end of it, she had barely just scraped by. While she passed the exam and became a jounin, the examiner verbally scolded her for nothing trying very hard and nearly flunked her for that reason alone. Though she understood why he was doing this, and just took the scolding without giving any form of sass back to him.
