Silence. Festering withing the sickness of mankind. This lovely, lonely, bereavement of lustful sins seemed to guide some people to awakenings. It seemed to push and pursue people to the most inconsequential thoughts of a future that may never come. Things seemed to follow him, Tamashii, and it seemed that the silence of his mind would guide him. It wouldnt forsake him, leave him, it was always there. IT was the one thing that he could count on to be there even if it was broken. Muffled under the sounds of laughter and even sorrows. It was cut by the wind, it heard lies and truths and still did not judge. Silence. The one true thing to him. The one thing that made sense in this world. And now, he was in Konohagakure, protecting the people he'd helped reclaim their lost land. He may not have been alone, but he took a step out... deciding to take out some 'trash'. Pacing himself along the waterfalls... it too broke Silence. But Silence would forgive...
Yet, it would never... forget.
Tamashii continued along the path... the sounds of his boots crunching along the bottom of this canopy of trees. A small forest clearing. Something small, but paved along by many travelers, children had marked this small route with their small feet... and their blood still smelled like sweet nectar to the Captain's nose. Small tombstones... graves... marked along its side, as he managed to uncover this path slowly... making his mark to the ground below so that he could return at any point when he wished to. Gloved mits, and a dark robe with crimson trim, fell along his feet, a mask, with a singular slit for the eye to see.... was all that could be seen from this man.
He was searching for something... But where would he find the concept of what he searched for? It was something that left him at every turn. Every footstep... yet it was always with him. Silence. He yearned for it tonight. As the moon rose over the horizon... and his feet would mark the earth of the freshly etched graves. Siblings and Parents alike, all marked these places. It was the place where the lost souls of outer rims would be cast aside. They... all died defending themselves in an attempt to rebel against the bandits. Yet all at once they fell, never to come back again. Much like the one from the wall... None of this made sense... to some.
But for Tamashii as his body would fall to a kneel, he'd finally sit still listening in the middle of the wilderness... She'd finally returned. His sweet Silence. Her embrace made him shiver... And as he would take in a deep breath, he would break her. releasing a cool breeze from his lips. He found himself... angered in himself. How could he keep her even if his breathing caused her to leave his side for this moment. Yet when he stopped she would return to her embrace. . . Twas a dilemma. So here he sat. Kneeling in the midst of a grave site in the late hour of the morning... Along the lines of... Two AM. The only light in the area... The moon above which was in its waning crescent form tonight. Hm, twas a wondrous night indeed.
Yet, it would never... forget.
