Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Silence. Festering withing the sickness of mankind. This lovely, lonely, bereavement of lustful sins seemed to guide some people to awakenings. It seemed to push and pursue people to the most inconsequential thoughts of a future that may never come. Things seemed to follow him, Tamashii, and it seemed that the silence of his mind would guide him. It wouldnt forsake him, leave him, it was always there. IT was the one thing that he could count on to be there even if it was broken. Muffled under the sounds of laughter and even sorrows. It was cut by the wind, it heard lies and truths and still did not judge. Silence. The one true thing to him. The one thing that made sense in this world. And now, he was in Konohagakure, protecting the people he'd helped reclaim their lost land. He may not have been alone, but he took a step out... deciding to take out some 'trash'. Pacing himself along the waterfalls... it too broke Silence. But Silence would forgive...

Yet, it would never... forget.

Tamashii continued along the path... the sounds of his boots crunching along the bottom of this canopy of trees. A small forest clearing. Something small, but paved along by many travelers, children had marked this small route with their small feet... and their blood still smelled like sweet nectar to the Captain's nose. Small tombstones... graves... marked along its side, as he managed to uncover this path slowly... making his mark to the ground below so that he could return at any point when he wished to. Gloved mits, and a dark robe with crimson trim, fell along his feet, a mask, with a singular slit for the eye to see.... was all that could be seen from this man.

He was searching for something... But where would he find the concept of what he searched for? It was something that left him at every turn. Every footstep... yet it was always with him. Silence. He yearned for it tonight. As the moon rose over the horizon... and his feet would mark the earth of the freshly etched graves. Siblings and Parents alike, all marked these places. It was the place where the lost souls of outer rims would be cast aside. They... all died defending themselves in an attempt to rebel against the bandits. Yet all at once they fell, never to come back again. Much like the one from the wall... None of this made sense... to some.

But for Tamashii as his body would fall to a kneel, he'd finally sit still listening in the middle of the wilderness... She'd finally returned. His sweet Silence. Her embrace made him shiver... And as he would take in a deep breath, he would break her. releasing a cool breeze from his lips. He found himself... angered in himself. How could he keep her even if his breathing caused her to leave his side for this moment. Yet when he stopped she would return to her embrace. . . Twas a dilemma. So here he sat. Kneeling in the midst of a grave site in the late hour of the morning... Along the lines of... Two AM. The only light in the area... The moon above which was in its waning crescent form tonight. Hm, twas a wondrous night indeed.

It was late in the night, or perhaps more correctly stated, early in the next morning. The sun had fallen many hours ago, and like any other beautiful night such as this Rei found herself training. Once upon a time she was a bit more normal, active during the day and resting at night as her parents watched over her. Those days were just a memory now, so painful and distant. It was a night just as this that she last saw them. It was just as quiet and calm with a small breeze, not too cold, but not exactly warm either. Just as she did then, Rei was training hard during the night now by herself.

Missions were the only time the teenager really found it necessary to be awake during the day, and even then it varied. In the night she didn't have to worry about her skin being kissed by the sun or about other people. It left more moments caught in thought than in conversation, no matter how focused on the training at hand the young Chigokai was at any given time. With her thoughts, memories, and her sense of others' blood, silence was never much longer than a fleeting moment even within the dead of night. Training was what she focused above all else, and tonight she was determined to push herself to be faster. It was just one of her many core fixations as of late, but the girl knew she could be more agile in a fight.

Tonight she had come to train dressed in her long, skin-tight black shorts and tank top. She wore her grey armor and had her parasol folded on her back. Her two fans were at her belt, and she never went out without making sure to have a good amount of kunai and throwing needles on her. Target practice was something she had been taught to do at a young age, and even now she thought it was important to upkeep her ranged accuracy at least daily. The girl stood a few inches over five feet and her long black hair was tied up in a ponytail, leaving only her bangs to shape her face. The ANBU fox mask with red markings she wore covered her face, most importantly her signature red eyes.

The teenager did a little breathing exercise to focus her chakra and her mind. She took a few minutes of standing meditation before she took off with a bolt. Rei decided that the best way to train her agility was to run, and so she went through the woods in the night as swift and quiet as any shinobi she had seen. The pale girl planned to run as long as she could, as fast as she could, wherever in the general vicinity that she pleased for as long as it took to see results. This plan was a determined and sensible one, but the young Chigokai stopped in her tracks much sooner than she intended to.

With the clan blood that ran through her, sensing the presence of others was as simple as just listening to the world around them. Rei could hear the sound of blood pumping through the bodies of others, something that came in handy now that she had become a stealthy ANBU of Leaf. The teenage girl approached with caution, this time taking silence over agility, and as she got closer she noticed a familiar figure kneeling in the clearing. There, in his long robes and mask with only one eye hole, was the ANBU Captain himself, Tamashii.

The girl with the small frame approached her senior quietly, trying to keep respectful of the potential prayer that may have been the reasoning for his kneeling. "I didn't know anyone else was up at this hour, Tamashii-sama." The soft voice of the young girl broke the silence in the air.

Silence at last, but the stirring of the early morning hour seemed to keep her embrace from settling in. Though, silence was a devious mistress with Tamashii. He would never have too long with her before she had to leave as she only liked her time alone... Settled and nettled in the darkness. Broken in the wake of another woman, she was not jealous... but simply stood in the wayside as this would transpire... "Aye Rei-san. We're going to need a system of Callsigns very soon... Are we not? Heh.", he was still kneeling before the grave sites he never liked to immediately do anything but, at this juncture why would he?

"I'm a morning Widow. Ever Carving a web, into the early hours of dawn. Then again, I'm a Wolf Spider... That never seems to sleep.", standing to his feet he'd turn to the Vampiric woman with his signature one-eyed mask, he'd smile from behind it and would bow his head, "Why are you out here so early? I've come to investigate this grave site. There is a relic out here that seems to have gone missing...maybe a lead might be out here somewhere as to what happened." simple explanation. Partly a lie... but mostly the truth. He'd known Rei for a long time, but maybe she'd give him a pass on this. He had documentation on this small mission but he could've sent anyone out on this mission. Who cared though?

"Hm, Been a while... eh?"

The young Chigokai's superior addressed her presence and spoke of the need for a system of Callsigns. Rei nodded in agreement after he asked for an opinion. The girl had never been one for many words, so she let the man continue from behind the mask. His words were almost poetic, debating which spider he was like and why. He claimed to be a man of no sleep as he stood finally and turned to face the kunoichi. The robed man bowed his head before he asked her the reasons behind herself being out at this hour. He claimed he was here to investigate some relic gone missing from this grave site, even though such a task was beneath the Captain that stood before her, it was not her place to question the actions of others.

The raven-haired ANBU behind her fox mask spoke after Tamashii had stated that it had been a while. It was true, though, the two hadn't met up for quite a while, there was no denying that. "Yeah, it has..." The words of the kunoichi trailed off for a moment before she stated her reasoning for being this deep in the forest at this unusual hour. "I was training. I find more strength in the moonlight than the sun. And sleep is hard for me to come by these days." Rei was quite honest with the man with the single-eyed mask. She lifted the fox mask from her face to reveal the pale young face beneath with glowing red eyes. The clan she was unknowingly born into had strange abilities of blood, and it caused those who used them to have these chilling eyes. Over time the whites of Rei's eyes had even been affected and started to be taken over with the same shade of blood red.

"I've been in-between missions for a while. Seems things are calm here in Konoha. Almost too calm." Asari Rei had seen a lot of bad things in her past, and even though it made her a lot stronger, it made her always on her toes. Silence as this only came so perfectly before a storm. The black hair tied in a ponytail blew in the wind. It was picking up now, rustling the trees to whisper amongst themselves. The girl's red eyes looked to the familiar robed figure with his signature mask. It was hard to tell emotions behind masks, but the girl's understanding of them was limited in any case so it never bother her much.
