Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It seemed today would be a busy day for Azusa, a delightful break in the training she had been in for her upcoming Genin exam. She had two meetings to attend to; one with her cousin and retainer, Hinoka, and another with a classmate, Riyota. The former had called out the priestess to meet her a nearby shop to deliver a gift from their shrine, and the later...had an undermined reason. Despite the lack of knowledge, Azusa figured that the close proximity would make for an interesting diversion to her delivery. Plus while Hinoka, called out the priestess all the time for errands, Azusa had never particularly been summoned by someone outside her clan or an instructor.

So...she was curious. Her fingers tapped along he small box she carried, and her crimson eyes scanned throughout the area, determined to find the boy before he noticed her. Azusa herself stood out despite her short height; there weren't to many gingers with fox ears wandering around in traditional red-white shrine maiden attire. But as for him? She remembered he had an eye patch and like to fall from roofs?

And horrible luck. Riyota, had taken a serious injury in their past class...And Azusa was unsure how that played out for him. (Is he already moving around after that injury? Can he even more as normal?) Azusa tried to imagine...just how resilient could her have been? The Aikayume healed notably quickly, but even she, their priestess, would have been out for longer. In fact, was Riyota even recovering before Kyuji's attention? She felt as if there was some kind of...energy...pushing him. Although throughout the whole class she had been under pressure, and at this point she found it hard to recall the exact details as they really were and the 'exaggerations' her mind had added in.

Regardless, she'd find out soon. Her meeting with Riyota was first, and worst case scenario she could blow off her later one with her cousin. It wouldn't have been the first time her attention was diverted from her, afterall.

Riyota glanced around nervously in the crowds, trying to find the girl he had notified to meet him. Who am I kidding? Why would she bother to show up? She's probably really busy and I'd just waste her time... he stared down at the ground and examined the few flowers he had managed to collect to present her with. These are pathetic... he began to swiftly lose confidence in himself, he was ready to turn around and leave when he spotted her long orange hair, adorned with her small orange animalistic ears. He glanced his one eye back down at the flowers and then over himself, taking a deep breath, he brushed some of his own hair out of the way and stepped towards the girl, not knowing how exactly the next string of events would transpire.

Walking up to the priestess, wincing slightly as the injury in his side still stung a bit. He eventually made his way to her. He wasn't exactly sure how to greet her, so he simply tapped her on the shoulder, hiding the flowers behind his back, he cleared his throat. "I...um, H-hi, it...um...H-hello, I...um." the boy blushed slightly as he really had no idea how to properly conduct himself in the presence of a lady. He stared down at the ground and brought forth the few flowers he had collected. "I-I, wanted to say...Th-thanks, you...really helped me out...y'know back there, in the lesson...a-and I know it isn't much, b-but I got you these and...oh crap you're not allergic are you?!" he pulled the flowers away, just in case. "A-anyway, yeah, sorry for wasting your time...but I wanted to say thanks." he managed a small smile as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

Her crimson eyes narrowed, her focus scanning the various persons she had slowly passed by. Her vision and other senses were getting sharper over time; although she was unsure if that was a result of her Kitsune blood growing in strength, or a simple result of shinobi training making her more aware in general. Perhaps both.
...But heightened senses or not, she failed to notice her target until after...well.

Okay, he managed to sneak up on her without trying. Azusa was confident in her skill to percieve ahead of her, that she failed to notice behind her. (Guess I lost that point...) More importantly;

He was walking. On his own! Without any cane or other type of assistance! Azusa had more than a slight belief that Riyota may had been bedridden still, or even suffered some crippling injury for life, so her reaction upon seeing him was at first to tilt her head in a slight disbelief. "...Riyota? Are you really fine?" Before scanning to see if he was masking any injuries.

Instead of injuries though, her eyes were drawn to the flowers that Riyota brought before him. And claimed were for her. Oh dear.
"...M-me?" Azusa blinked as blood rushed to her cheeks, caught off-guard and unsure exactly how she was supposed to react in this situation; thus there was none of that polite formal-speak she often tried and forgot to use.

"I mean, I didn't really do-" She mumbled simultaneously with Riyota, while she fiddled with the small box she carried in embarrassment...at least until Riyota started on about some nonsense of her nonexistant allergies. "--Wait! I-I'm not allergic to any s-stupid flowers or anything..." The priestess stammered, distraught over Riyota pulling them away and reconsidering. Sure, she had gotten gifts in the past...but never in a situation like this. She didn't want it to be the first time she almost was given a gift!

"I-I mean...thanks." She spoke just above a whisper; but her blush was pretty vivid. Accepting a gift was surprisingly hard; she felt as if it was easier trying to avoid kunai being through by a semi-demented instructor. "But...It's not like I really did anything, y'know..." Azusa began to admit. Azusa was of course pleased by Riyota's gesture; she loved to be recognized and praised, afterall! But at the same time, she didn't want to take advantage of his kindness by accepting a gift she didn't feel she deserved; in truth, she had felt useless at that time for being unable to truely offer any healing. What she did was an illusion.

"You were hurt. I wanted to help, but I didn't know how to. It was just a Genjutsu I used...I really didn't do anything worth...f-flowers...or anything." She trailed off; humility was something difficult for her.

[MFT]

Riyota let out a quiet 'phew' before handing the girl the small collection of flowers, before he finally realised she had asked him about his injury. "Hmm? Y-yeah, I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?" he managed a nervous grin. "Y'know, I mean who hasn't been blasted by some high ranking jutsu in their life, right?" he said to her, attempting to conceal the pain in the right side of his body. 'If she knows about the seals...then she probably thinks I'm some sort of freak.'

He heard the girl's protests about the gift he was giving her, the fact that she had not actually aided his healing in any way. "W-well, I mean let's face it. Mao just stood there and didn't do much, Kagari was really cool about it, but I have no clue where to find him, and I doubt he'd appreciate flowers." he chuckled lightly to try and lighten the mood. "But you came over to me, for no other reason than to make sure I was ok, and help me feel better. Which is why I wanted to get you these." he indicated to the flowers.

"P-plus...y'know, you're kinda..." his voice trailed off and went quiet with that last sentence.

"Heh.." Azusa chuckled, finding the thought of Kagari receiving flowers from Riyota amusing. From what she could tell he seemed pretty serious and analytic; it least in comparison to herself. Seeing him put in that situation would definitely be a sight to see. Regardless though, Riyota's explanation removed any restraints she had in accepting the gift. "Well...In that case, I won't have to feel guilty over...You know...taking them." Azusa tried to not look too pleased from her gift, but the way she accepted them told otherwise; she was very careful and gentle, as if they'd crumble away at the slightest mistreatment. She was unfamiliar with how to really handle flowers as a gift; her experience with plants was limited only to the herbs her clan used in various rituals and such. So she delicately held them in her free hand.

She gazed over them; enjoying their colors. Being an underground village, there weren't too many that grew naturally without painstaking supervision of a florist or other caretaker. It made for a welcome sight, until her gaze returned to Riyota when he grew quiet. "...Huh? I''m what?" Azusa hesitated for a moment, half-listening up to then...But then it clicked, bringing a smirk to her face. "...Is it because I'm lady-like? Do I look cute?" If Riyota looked hard enough, he might be able to see Azusa's ego inflating beyond her wide eyes as she began fishing for compliments to squeeze out of him. Even her ears perked up!

"...I've read books where a boy will give flowers to a princess or something if he likes them. Am I like a princess in a story? Thats so cool!" See, Azusa tried to put on the persona of a proud, noble woman....although she was very easily caught off guard, as Riyota had done with his gift. But if it helped get her flowers from Riyota, then, maybe she was getting better. It filled her with determination!

Riyota's blush deepened as the Kitsune girl guessed the words that were going to make their way out of his mouth. However he was able to breathe a sigh of relief now that she had taken the flowers, as he had been worried that she wouldn't have. As he looked back into her eyes, a stray tuft of hair dangling in front of his own. He could've sworn he saw distinct cockiness pass over them. I suppose a bit of ego is to be expected...she is quite important within her clan. and Riyota couldn't stop himself from giggling a little as her ears perked up from the compliment he had failed to deliver. It made him think back to a time when he had worn a hood with it's own little ears on it.

Azusa started going off about how she felt like a princess in a story, Riyota wasn't really listening. He was just focusing on her. He hadn't really gotten a chance to look at her in the class but now he could clearly see that she was indeed extremely cute. The boy quickly shook his head to snap himself back to reality, I must look like a right weirdo, staring at her like that. "Uh-Um...yeah, something like that." he answered. "Um...I hope I'm not taking up time for something important..."

[Sorry this took so long, I've had the Man-Flu]

(Yay! You caught the reference!!)
-------

Azusa's eyes narrowed as she watched Riyota's reaction to her teasing, taking in what she could of his personality. She didn't particularly know much about the other student, other than he was kind enough to give her a gift, and that he could take a beating, but give her time, and she'd figure out which buttons to push for the best reactions.

But for now; "It's nothing important. The Aikayume shrine gives charms and gifts to people in the village...but my dumb cousin forgot a box to deliver, so I'm going to meet her there. Do you want to go? They give me free snacks, they'll probably give you something too if your with me." As she spoke, Azusa shuffled around the rectangular box she held under her armed, and popped the side of it open. "...I guess I have a gift for you, too, then." She stated, pulling out a small charm from within the box; she even added her own sound effects to it; "Ta-daaa."

Within her hand was a small decorated tag, with the symbol for 'good luck' on it, which she held out to Riyota. "You fell from the top of the academy building, too, didn't you? You're really unlucky...So keep this lucky charm from my shrine. Maybe it'll keep your bones from sticking out again."

...Although she had meant that as a joke, it brought the sight of the scene back to her mind; (...So much blood..) A wave of nausea surged through her, draining color from her face rapidly, and sapping her strength to even keep her arm straight as she held the charm.
"...G-give me a second..." She shut her eyes, holding her breath for several seconds to attempt to recollect herself. One...Two...Three...

Unfortunately for Azusa, despite her clan using blood in their practices, she struggled with handling wounds larger than a paper cut.

[MFT]

"Oh? That's cool!" he smiled as she told him about the gifts her clan gave people. "I'd love to go, if you can stand me for that long." he chuckled slightly, growing slightly more comfortable in the presence of Azusa. His stomach grumbled loudly "Yeeeeeaaaah, Snacks would definitely be good, are you sure your people won't mind me coming along? I'm not exactly the most formally dressed person in the world." the boy said, looking down at his scruffy black shirt and white jacket, grinning awkwardly.

His eyes widened slightly with surprise as she told him she had a gift for him in return, he hadn't come here expecting anything, so he opened his mouth to quickly say "O-oh it's fine, you didn't have to get me anything..." he couldn't get the words out before the girl unleashed the 'Ta-Da' upon him. Riyota didn't really know what it was, but it looked cool enough. She told him about his own unlucky nature, and he found himself unable to disagree with her. As the memory resurfaced he felt a pain in his side. Begrudgingly, he took the small tag from her hands, now understanding it was some sort of good luck token. He quickly fastened it to the belt around his chest which would've held his weapon, had he took it to this meeting. There the small tag now hung, just underneath the boys left pectoral muscle, dangling in front of his heart.

He was broken from his concentration on the tag to the sight of a pale Kitsune. He asked "Are you ok?" before being asked to give her a moment. He simply nodded and looked around nervously, hoping she wouldn't vomit.

The first of Azusa's senses to return to her was her smell, which caught the scent of the flowers she held. Shortly after, Azusa's crimson eyes reopened and her dizzyness had passed, but not fast enough that Riyota wouldn't have noticed; "I'm ok now...U-ugh...I really hate blood, y'know? I...might have kinda been afraid of getting hurt during the whole class." Azusa's pampered upbringing protected her from encountering any real sources of harm; she was unfamiliar to any pain or injuries that someone who, say, grew up in the slums of Grand Palais would have encountered. Even moreso that in the Aikayume clan, is was forbidden to let the blood of the Priestess be wasted needlessly, so any training she did was notably light in comparison to other clans. Just wanting to become a shinobi was selfishness on Azusa's part, due to the inherent risk involved in it.

In short, she was debilitated by even the thought of seeing and experiencing it.

Which was polar opposite of Riyota, who had even tried to continue despite his wound. "...You were hurt very badly. But you kept pretending like it was nothing...Why? Are you really hurt...often? Does it get weaker? Or do you just get used to it?" The Kitsune inquired...but her real question as to why he wasn't dead was left unspoken for now. Her fear of injury was weakness she needed to overcome in order to have any hope of getting far as a Suna-nin.

She motioned for Riyota to follow, Azusa wanting to move to walk off her nausea. "Follow me. Hinoka is really close, so it won't be long. Nobody would mind if your with me, and you might find something you like." With that, she'd head towards the shop to meet with her cousin, who was unfortunately stuck being Azusa's retainer.

Riyota nodded his head "It's ok, I understand stuff like that can make people uncomfortable." he smiled, hoping to convey that he wasn't judging her in any way. The priestess murmured something under her breath and Riyota could not make out what it was. So he decided to ignore it. After the short 'episode' Azusa asked him questions about his history of injuries, which caused Riyota to reminisce a bit. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable again, so he kept these next thought in his own head. I've been...cut, dropped, exploded, poisoned, stabbed, immobilized, generally tortured and I've fallen a bunch. he ran through these memories almost in fast forward within his mind. After the quick flashback he looked at the girl and grinned. "Well...I mean, not a WHOLE lot, but y'know...a bit." was his answer, and a very vague answer it was. He thought for a few seconds on the second half of the question "Well, I mean yeah, it hurts a lot, but you can't let that stop you really." he answered, not sure if that was actually answering the question.

After that had sunk in for a few moments, the kitsune was on her feet and telling him to follow, apparently it was time for Riyota to meet whoever this Hinoka was. He hoped snack would be coming soon. "Let's go then." he grinned.

"...'A bit'...he says..." Azusa spoke aloud, wondering what exactly Riyota's standards for such a vague amount could be. Her expression was unconvinced.

"...Yeah, I guess you're right. I was hoping for something cooler...like a secret technique or potion you might have known of." His answer was pretty much a kinder way of telling her 'deal with it'; there were not any shortcuts to circumvent her weak points, a fact that was quite irritating to her. Or at least she hadn't been lucky enough to find any; but it wouldn't stop her from asking any time soon.

Passing some of the more crowded shops as they spoke, Azusa turned down a side street and before long stopped outside of a pretty nondescript, two-story shop that displayed a surprisingly wide variety of goods through the windows; tools, clothing, weapons, snacks...But it appeared to be closed. "...Huh...Weird. They're always open around now, and usually Hinoka waits for me outside..." Not dissuaded by something as simple as a closed door and inactive lights, Azusa pulled against the handle, rattling it against its hinges. "Hey, Open up! It's me Azusa! Hello?!..." Azusa began to call out, still pulling against the locked door.

...Until she gave up. The next step, was of course; "...Hmm. Can you open locked doors, Riyota? I've unlocked a few...but it takes awhile." Azusa asked. Any success she's had at picking open something locked was from just randomly trying until luck kicked in.

Riyota really didn't have it in his heart to tell her about the cursed seals that were hidden beneath his clothing. It would just be cause for unnecessary explanation and the girl might even think him a freak. Yet he felt a pang of guilt hit him hard. Here he was standing there like a tough guy who can feel no pain, meanwhile he has small shortcuts to power tattooed on his chest.

Eventually they reached the meeting point...or at least what he assumed was supposed to be the meeting point. However there didn't seem to be anyone around to really meet. Azusa seemed rather confused by the whole ordeal, and the boy couldn't help but feel that something was off as the Fox-Girl began trying to get the attention of anyone inside Riyota began looking around to see if anyone was perhaps on their way.

Azusa asked him if he had any knowledge opening locked doors, and at the moment the boy was feeling too proud to admit that he had no clue. So he strolled up to the door and took a look at the lock. Reaching his hand towards it, his chakra all of a sudden flared out of control and a small blast of lightning shot out of his fingers, causing the lock to explode. Holding his fingers to work through the pain he tried the door with his foot and it slowly opened. "Tah Dah!" he said jokingly, whilst in his head his only thought was. I'm going to have to pay for this aren't I?

MFT 261

Azusa tried to clap her hands twice in amusement; "Haha! I would have done the same thing." Azusa approved! Had Riyota not blown off the lock, Azusa would have resorted to something similar to avoid having him watch her fiddle with it for half an hour. Granted, her method would have involved colorful blue flames, and probably would have only burned a whole through part of the door at best. At worst? Well, hopefully the building wasn't that weak to fire. But the point was, she was glad her method of getting into somewhere was at least shared with someone.

Once inside;
The inside of the shop was dim but still enough to see mostly with the illumination from the light of the street outside. Azusa searched for a light switch, but was unsuccessful; perhaps Riyota would be more lucky. The shop was lined with items that could be expected from a smaller general-purpose shop, with things leaning more towards 'style' and 'personality' rather than cheap convenience. Azusa's curiosity was drawn to the fact that aside from looking like a large 1-room shop, several shelves were knocked over in the middle, spilling their contents to the ground. Mostly decorative figures, and a few once-whole-but-now-broken vases; no signs of gems though.

"...This is definitely really weird." Azusa said as she sniffed around the area, focusing; although her sense of smell was notably weaker than say, an Inuzuka, Azusa's vulpine tributes did allow her a degree of precision when it came to smelling things. "Hinoka was here. I...I think she's still here." Eventually her attention homed in on a few small odd spots on the floor; it was dim in the room, but she could definitely make out faint traces of that smell even before she curiously poked at it.

(...Is this blood?)

Perhaps it was just because the lights were out and it was dark, but the whole thing gave Azusa a bad vibe...And her focus turned to Riyota; Although she appreciated the company, she knew it would be unfair to expect him to go further. "..Sorry Riyota...I didn't mean to drag you over here just to find someone. I'm...gonna keep looking, but you could, umm...go...if you really didn't want to stay." Azusa spoke out, she didn't make any effort to hide it, but she also didn't point out the spot to him. She didn't want to bother him after getting flowers.

Azusa's pacing continued, finding a few more dots leading to the back, but not much else besides a stairway up and door to either a closet or basement. (I...can't tell if it goes down to the basement, or upstairs.)
"A-Actually...it might be better if you go. I don't need help. Oh! I did like the flowers, so thanks...again."

[MFT]

Riyota smiled widely, glad that his accidental door unlocking method had put a hint of devilish delight into the eyes of the kitsune. Being polite and abiding by the 'Ladies First' rule, he stepped aside to allow her entry and followed her into the shop. He squinted his eyes and looked all around the shop. "I thought you were meeting someone...You'd think they'd at least turn the lights on." he commented, trying to find a switch for the lighting, but to no avail. He could clearly see as well that there was small pieces of rubble from smashed parts of the store, scattered all around.

"You've got that right, does Hinoka make a habit of meeting you inside dark, crappy shops?" he responded to Azusa's evaluation of the area. It wasn't long before Riyota heard her sniffing around the area. Well, I suppose that's one way to find someone...Guess the ears aren't just for show. he thought to himself, smiling slightly, a small blush appearing on his cheeks as he watched her investigate, though it would be hard to see in the dim lighting. "Still here?" he asked, puzzled. As he began searching around twice as hard.

That was when Azusa hit him with the whole 'It's not fair on you, you should leave speech.' The boy had heard it before, and he had not intention of leaving just yet. "Azusa...I'm glad you liked the flowers, but I'm not leaving until we've found your cousin. You could get in trouble without someone to watch your back, and you know that. This is just a ploy to get those snacks all to yourself isn't it? Well it's not going to work on me Lady Priestess." he said those last two words ever so slightly mockingly.

Slowly, he came up to see what she was looking at and he nodded a few times, pretending like he knew what was going on. "Well, it's not like there's anywhere else to go. Shall we?"

Azusa was relieved to see that Riyota had remained with her, but not without a brief moment of confusion before; "...What? No.." Azusa stated, perplexed. Here she was, worried she might have been dragging him into a frightening area. Did Riyota really think this was about the snacks?
...Actually, she really did like that excuse. "W-wait, I mean, yes...I can't trick you, I guess. Do whatever you want." Had she not been worried and in someplace less eerie, she may have even laughed.

But she was glad that Riyota remained; it was more than she was willing to ask from him, and just having the comfort of not being alone helped keep her mind at ease. "I'm gonna open the door...hopefully its not locked."

Unlike the door into the shop, this one was not locked; Azusa opened it slowly, and the moment she did the sounds of some type of not-too-distant argument (or the ending of one, at least) could be heard; "...-and you hit her hard! She's just a kid, what were you afraid of! We weren't supposed to hurt anyone." "She was doing some crazy ninja technique and could have burned us all! Normal kids don't do that." "Yeah, whatever, she scared you. Look, go up see if there's any bandages or something up there for her, and make sure that door's still locked; we don't need you getting scared over anyone else wandering in. And let Ryu in when he gets back." "Yeah, yeah. It's not that serious. Keep an eye on them, at least..."

At least one of the voices was steadily getting closer to the stairway leading up to Azusa and Riyota's position during the conversation, causing the small priestess to retreat back around the corner into the shop area, a look of panic written over her face. "S-someone's coming!" She just wanted to check and see if her cousin was in danger; but her instincts had told her that casually wandering into a basement in search of her would be a poor decision. But she couldn't just leave, either; the pressure made it difficult for her to think clearly.

"Should we hide? Is it okay to attack someone? I don't have anything...I-if only Kyuji-sensei or someone were here..." Or at the very least, some Chuunin or an Aikayume clansman to escort her, at least. Regardless, she scanned around the shop nearby for something she could hold, anything.
...But the sound of footsteps reaching the stairs and climbing them could be heard, causing her even more distress. "I...I don't know what to do, Riyota."

At this rate, unless Riyota was calmer than her and able to come up with something, Azusa would likely act in panic and attack whoever it was that was approaching them from the staircase. Although her skilland strength in close ranged combat was...definitely able to improve tremendously, to say the least.

[Marked for Training]

Riyota heard the voices as well, and new the situation wasn't good. He could only assume that whoever it was they were here to meet was the one tied up down there, and so he used whatever brain cells that were flying around in his head to come up with a plan. Time was short however as someone was fast approaching. Just as the unidentified person reached the top of the stairs Riyota would attack slamming the person's head against the wall in an attempt to knock them out. Once he had done this he would drag the body out of the way as the people from downstairs would call out "What was that noise? You alright?" Riyota would give his best impression of the unconscious person and shout back down. "Uh...Yeah, everything...everything isfine, just tripped is all.

It wasn't perfect, but hopefully it would do. "Azusa lisen, I might have a plan...I'll be honest with you, it's an awful plan but it might just work." he took a quick glance at the unconscious body. "I'm going to disguise myself as this guy and pretend to capture you. That way, you can untie your cousin without anyone noticing, then with the extra manpower we can beat these guys. Sound good?" he confirmed his plan with her.

Smash

Azusa blinked. And blinked.
"Super nice job." She whispered while giving a thumbs up to Riyota.

Riyota's lack of hesitation and straightforward thinking again worked out for them. Although the guy was older, appearing in his upper teenage years, he was much slower, and had no chance to react to Riyota's presence. Whats more; he even pulled him away without letting his unconscious body fall down the stairs! Azusa knew if she had done the same, she would have been too concerned with wondering whether her attack would have knocked her target out or not to even think of grabbing him too.
Actually, she'd be lucky if she didn't end up tumbling down the stairs with the body.

...Of course, not that she'd admit it.

As for Riyota's suggestion for their next action? "Yeah...yeah...That can work. Good idea, Riyota." Azusa nodded her head in agreement slowly. Her expression was one of worry, although that had nothing to do with Riyota's plan. They could have had the most foolproof plan, and the kitsune would still be concerned in this situation.

The priestess took a deep breath as she gently placed her flowers into a corner before backing away towards the center of the room...(Here goes...)
And shrieked. "NOOOOO! STOP IT!" Smash. Crash. Bang. Azusa stomped around, shoved shelves, and threw items around in her best attempts to make it sound like some sort of confrontation was occurring where they were on the first floor. "Don't grab me! Let go!!!"

"Who else is there? Are you ok? Tsk...I can't leave them here alone, do you need help?" The voice from the basement called out in response to the loud noises he most definitely had to have heard. So far only one voice, the same voice from before, had spoken, meaning that numbers were on their side, now. And if Riyota's plan worked? They could even surprise him.

At this point Azusa would wink towards Riyota, having played her part in being the tragic bait. now, Riyota just had to get them close...

[MFT]

Riyota watched as Azusa crashed her way around the shop, knocking over everything in her path, he smirked with slight admiration at her tactical thinking and quickly stripped the unconscious man down to his underwear and quickly placed the clothes on himself. Although they were a bit big Riyota hoped it would be enough to fool the kidnappers. "St-stop running!" Riyota shouted in his impersonating voice. As the other kidnappers called up he shouted back down "N-no...It's fine, someone snooping around, I got 'em." he gently grabbed Azusa's wrist and fished into his back pocket for some ninja wire. He VERY loosely tied in around both of the Kitsune's wrists before whispering to her "Alright, let's do this thing." Smirking, he shouted back down to the other kidnappers "Some girl, I'll bring her down." he gestured for Azusa to walk in front of him down the stairs and he followed behind.

Once they were amongst the kidnappers they could see three men all standing in different areas of the room, with a young woman tied up in the centre. Riyota gave Azusa a light shove to make the act more convincing, and hoped she wouldn't be mad about it. He told her to sit down opposite the other prisoner and walked away from her to lean against the wall. He would only attack when she was ready.
