Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kaito grinned as he eyed up the stack of unprocessed lumber in front of him. Even with the Suna Residences now properly established the move back to the surface still had a long way to go and that was just fine with him! Ever since he'd had his encounter with Roku he'd been searching out ways to work himself to his limits and nothing worked better than hauling a delivery to the construction works by hand. The unprocessed deliveries were his special favourite however. He carefully laid the logs out in line across the barren staging area, checking there were no civilian’s around who might be hurt by flying splinters, before picking up his scimitar; eyes glinting with both pride and determination. He slowly raised the blade above his head, the movements looked almost like a kata or some kind of meditation dance. At the same time he carefully lined the angle of his swing up against the edge of the log. The next time the blade came down full speed, slicing away the edge of the log; leaving a few feet of clean edge, the beginnings of the beam the log would become. “Overhead Strike..” Kaito breathed out, taking a few steps forward whilst maintaining a swordsman’s stance before he unleashed the technique again. “Overhead Strike! Hah!” This time he swung twice, taking a half-step between blows. The rhythm, Strike, step, Strike-step-Strike, step, took over; repeating seemingly forever under the harsh Wind Country sun, only pausing when Kaito had stripped one entire length of a log as he repositioned alongside the next in line. As he finished a circuit of the log line he would go along, lifting each log over his head twice before rotating it to present a fresh side of bark and beginning to strip the bark from the end of the line once more.

He'd started early, but by the time the beams were properly formed the sun was blazing high in the sky and his legs were shaking. Kaito knew he'd pushed himself dangerously close to chakra exhaustion. Dragging himself up the marginally to give shady side of the pile of beams he'd made, Kaito threw himself down, gazing out over the great desert of Wind Country. He grinned to himself, satisfied. 'This is the view the One King intended for us all..' He mused 'Just because the Sunahosi no longer lead us is no reason to give up our heritage. I'm glad the Kazekage feels the same way. Maybe I should go work on the Kingshelm restoration tomorrow, I bet there's loads of fascinating things that need to be recovered there…' Shuffling to the top of the pile and rolling over so he now faced in towards the village Kaito mentally superimposed images from the history books over the Suna residences and constructions sites, spending the rest of his recovery daydreaming about the future for Sunagakure. When the midday sun had died down and he'd reached the point that he could stand and lift a log without wobbling, Kaito began shuttling them one at a time to the site that awaited them. By the time it was all done and he'd reached home Yuudai Kaito was completely drained, unable to even think of going out to party in the Grand Palais like he usually would have, he collapsed in bed, grinning to himself and dreaming of Sunahoshi, Mother Suna and lightning storms in the open sky.
