Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Would like to add the minor Lightning affinity I get from attaining D-Rank. Please and thank you :)

Edit:

Would also like to add weapon:

Kasumi's Legacy
Weapon
These gloves were one of the few things belonging to Maki Kasumi that were recovered from the wreckage of the old Medical Center due to the destructive Djinn that rampaged through Sunagakure. Though to a quick glance they may appear to be ordinary gloves, a fragment of Kasumi's chakra still lives within them. Gifted to her younger brother, Maki Kichiru, this chakra resonates with the benevolence within him and allows him to guide his blows with far more precision, albeit at the price of overall power that comes with the hesitation to harm that both Kasumi and Kichiru share.

HP: (50+lvl) x stamina
CP: (40+lvl) x chakra control
Class Bonus: +1.5 Accuracy, +5% Damage
High: Ninjutsu Accuracy
Average: Evasion, Gen DC, Gen Save, Melee Accuracy

Though I'd like to request an addition to the class bonus as I've purchased the Class Card (Approved Here) and add the 2 class points to a +5% Medical Healing

Augments were purchased already in training here.

1.5 accuracy is 3 class points. 5% all Damage types is 3 points.

*head scratches*

I cannot quite give you the healing you desire. You have 6 class points right now, 2 More when you get to B

The weapons are fine. I will update that for you.

Okay so after putting our noggins together and having a lovely and excellent chat, we have ruled that you desired +1.5 acc and 5% nin damage and 5% healing

This is more of a fix to the ocr... in which there was some confusion over the original 5% damage there.

Alright, let's get some RPs going.

Defensive Technique
"Kichiru, you need to defend yourself!" The young Kichiru fell onto a single knee, his face completely red and his body aching as he faced his sparring partner. He wasn't a fighter, not in the slightest, but he knew if he were to be ready for whatever his future held, he needed to be able to fight for himself and not simply rely on the strengths of others to protect him. His partner quickly advanced once more, sending a kick towards the downed Kichiru. [I need to be strong. I need to protect myself so I can protect others! His entire body tensed for a moment as he instinctively brought up his forearm to block the oncoming kick once more. It still was painful, but he felt his body slowly becoming more and more used to the pain. He had learned once that sometimes the body would react to trauma by hardening the bones and muscle, allowing one to do amazing things without much risk of injury. So all he needed to do was continue training, so that when the time came, he wouldn't have to be worried about being hurt himself and could focus on protecting those he cared about.

Strategist
A smile crossed Kichiru's face as he moved his piece into its final position. "Huh, you won again. Looks like I'll need to have a less intelligent child next time so I'll have someone to beat again." His father chuckled as he ruffled the boy's brown hair. "But you should know the importance of a game such as this. It's said it was derived from the types of strategy-meetings generals of vast armies would have, moving pieces across a larger map that would designate the movement of squads. Kichiru, you need to be prepared for anything out there. This is a dangerous world, and you need to go into any situation ready to react accordingly. You can't be left confused and vulnerable. Do you understand?" The smile on his father's face soon turned serious as he spoke out of concern for his child, who he knew would be entering a dangerous life, far more than that of a trader as he was. "Father, I plan to make both you and Mom proud. I swear I will do my best to stay prepared." Kichiru nodded seriously in agreement. "Now could we play another game? I have an idea."

Quickdraw
A sigh escaped his teacher's lips as Kichiru once again began fumbling through his pouches "Kichiru, you can't struggle this much in the heat of a battle to pull out your equipment. You'll be leaving a huge vulnerability that the enemy will take advantage of! You need to know where everything is and be able to fluidly retrieve anything you might need on your person without wasting even a second of your time. You must incorporate it into your normal movements. You're going to practice pulling out your kunai from your belt-pouch and throwing it immediately until you have it down, understood?" The boy was drenched in sweat at this point as he looked up towards the dark sky. It was bright out when they started, but Kichiru refused to give up on himself, just as he knew his teacher would expect from him. For the next few hours he would continue the same movements, dodging simple attacks from his teacher as he pulled out his kunai and threw them at the appropriate target. His aim wasn't the best, but he was getting the hang of retrieving the kunai in a fluid manner so much so that, eventually, it almost appeared second-nature to him as he simultaneously dodged an incoming attack while pulling out his kunai and preparing his own strike.

Teamwork
Over the weeks since his first class at the Academy, Kichiru had been making friends with his fellow students, many of which devoted the bulk of their time to training in order to practice the techniques taught to them in their most recent class. During his personal studies of some of the greatest heroes of Sunagakure's history, Kichiru noticed that some of the most amazing feats were accomplished by solid-planning and proper teamwork. The ability to work within a squad, which he hoped to one day be a part of, fluidly to the point where each member instinctively knows the mind-set of the others, so that they may plan their attacks around the movements of their allies. And so he would practice these kinds of observational techniques as he watched the others sparring in groups until he felt confident enough to join them in their group-sparring sessions. He wouldn't necessarily focus on winning the battle, but on figuring out the strengths and weaknesses of those he fought alongside in order to dictate what actions would be best to making them stronger as a unit.

Willpower
If there was one theme to Kichiru's life to this point, it would have been his ability to focus on the positive aspects of life, even in the most dire of circumstances. In a world of cynics and pessimists, the young boy was gifted with a mind that still dreamed of heroism of morality. These thoughts drove him forward, they kept him sane in even the most stressful of situations. As he began to develop his control over his chakra, he began noticing that he was unusually capable in his defense against one of the few types of jutsu he knew least about, Genjutsu. The way his mind worked allowed him, through intense focus and determination, to break through even the strongest of genjutsu his fellow students were able to throw at him. He wasn't sure of the limitations of this technique, but he was determined that the path he was following was indeed the right one.

CA RP - Benevolent
It had only been a few days since Kichiru had last visited this site, mainly due to the hectic nature of having to prepare for his upcoming Bashar exam, the contents of which would be completely unknown until he showed up. All he could do was train day and night, studying as much as he could to prepare for whatever the proctor might have in store for him and his fellow students. "I know it's going to be tough Kasumi, but it is also going to be a lot of fun. You know how much I like a challenge!" He smiled as he spoke towards the memorial that had been created for those lost in the various attacks on Sunagakure. "I'm going to become a Bashar and then climb the ranks just like you. Though you better watch out, I might even make it higher than you!" If anybody were watching him, they'd see him laugh out, almost as if he really did see his elder sister standing in front of him and they were simply talking as siblings might. Teasing one another in that way people who truly love one another do.

"I wish you could tell me what to expect, but I guess that would ruin the fun! Oh! I forgot to tell you, I made a few friends the other day. Well, one of them was a big older, but still! You'll laugh when you hear about when this guy, his name was Roku. He wa-" A yelping sound instantly broke his concentration as his eyes darted over to the origination of the sound, which appeared to be within one of the nearby alleyways. Without even thinking of the consequences, Kichiru ran off in the direction of the noise, hoping he wouldn't be too late to help whatever seemed to be in distress.

Though it wasn't an ambush, nor was it a person who had tripped and scraped their knee. Instead, what Kichiru found was a young canine, probably only a year or two old. From the sight of it, it had limped down the alleyway from the other side and collapsed only a few feet away from the end of it where it might have attracted more attention to its current state. Which was, without being too graphic, unpleasant. Something appeared to have bitten the young dog quite ferociously if the gash in it's side, still fresh with the blood that leaked out from it and into the pool that slowly formed within the whimpering figure. Kichiru dropped to his knees before the dog. "No, no. Oh my, what happened to you? No, nevermind. We're going to get you some help, the hospital isn't far from here!" He quickly reached out to try to pick up the dog, only to be met with a deep growl and a showing of teeth. It was clear that he wasn't going to be able to move the dog without sustaining horrible injuries himself.

I have to..

So instead all he could do was try to help himself. He had only learned his first medical jutsu a few days prior and hadn't really had too much time to train with it, though it wasn't the time to focus on the negatives of the situation. All he could do was try. And so he did, placing his hands on the fresh bite wounds. His chakra slowly started to form around his hands in the form of a pleasant green glow, though far weaker of a glow than would normally be expected of a trained med-nin. He did this for about a minute before takes his hands away, only to see that the dog's movements had slowed. It was clear that he was still alive, but the bleeding had not fully stopped, only slowed. If he had more time... Or more skill, he might have been able to save the young dog from it's fate. He knew that, at his current rate of exhaustion, he wouldn't be able to keep going for much longer, and nor would the dog be in the state to wait long enough for him to get help. Their destinies were sealed: The poor dog's death and the boy's failure to stop it.

And so he wept on his knees, his face against the ground beneath him and his hands simply resting on top of the dog, feeling as its heart-rate and breathing slowed down. The boy who always had a smile on his face. The student who never feared to ask questions and be seen. The future shinobi who promised to protect the people of this village. Those all faded away in that instant as quickly as the tears shed from his face or the blood pooled beneath them, covering the gloves he wore. Gloves that he had been given by his family. They were the only thing found belonging to Kasumi after the destruction of the Djinn had been stopped. Besides a few pictures that adorned their home, this had been all he had left of his elder sister.

At least, that's what he thought. It was the case that materially the gloves were the only thing he was given that belonged to her, but to think that was the end of the story would make one quite mistaken. When she died, she had done so heroically, using the last of her strength to help patients escape from the crumbling mess that was the Medical Center. In doing so, she had become trapped under a falling piece of debris that pierced through her torso. Even if she managed to escape, the bleeding would have been too much for her to deal with, nor could she even hope to get outside quickly enough to find help. Instead, she accepted her fate. Though she did not reflect upon the meaning of death in her final moments, or even upon the lives she had potentially saved. Instead, she thought of her family. Of her father, her mother, and her younger brother, Kichiru. With her final moments, she depleted what energy she had left into the gloves she wore, imbuing them with her chakra and, if you believed in such things, doing so left a piece of her that would stay in the world, hoping that the gloves would find their way to her younger brother, which they had. Even in death, she vowed to continue protecting him as to nurture the pure heart she knew beat within her beloved brother.

Please... Someone help me save her...

And so she kept her promise, as Kichiru would soon begin to notice a strange feeling emanating from his hands; more specifically, from his gloves. As he looked up, he saw a similar glow to that of his medical jutsu before. It was slightly stronger than his, but not by much. If he checked, he would feel that the dog's breathing had almost slowed to a stop. Instead of focusing on the strangeness of the situation, he decided to pour whatever chakra he had left into another attempt of the jutsu as teared continued to stream down his face, blurring his vision as he stared intently at the dying dog. As his chakra poured into the technique it would begin to glow even brighter than before, to the point of being blinding for the young child. If anyone had been looking, the dark alley-way was momentarily illuminated with the evanescent green glow of his chakra. Within a few seconds of this, however, Kichiru noticed his vision had blurred far beyond that of simply being muddied with tears. Instead, he had exhausted himself to the point where he found himself unable to keep his eyes open as he fell onto the cold ground.

Minutes later, he awoke to an odd feeling. Wet? Perhaps it was the blood, but it wasn't quite as warm as one would expect. But it was also a bit.. slimy?

What the...

His eyes widened as his vision finally came into focus, a bright smile weakly forming on his face as he looked into the energetic eyes of the dog he thought had surely passed away moments after had he fell unconscious. Weakly, Kichiru managed to weakly push himself into a sitting position as the small dog hopped onto his lap, continuing to lick away at the bits of blood that still stained the boy's face. Instead of the green glow, or even a weeping cry for help, laughter filled the alley-way. It wasn't long before he found the strength to hop back onto his feet with the dog at his side, circling around him as she wagged her tail excitedly. The patch on her body still revealed where the bite mark once was, but all that was left was a neatly closed wound.Somehow, he had saved her. Kichiru crouched down in front of the dog, smiling as he scratched her behind the ears.

"You know, I'm sure Mom wouldn't mind it if I took you home. I think I'll call you Kas."

If approved I'd also like to spend my 4 CA points if that's alright. 3 for Master Healing and 1 Divine Mind. Note that Divine Mind will add a +2 to my HP mod for my class.

Edit:

Would also just like to add to my dojo that I have purchased the class card as well as the ability slot from the Advanced Shop here.

This one is gonna be quite a bit.

First off, I've just hit 485 PL, and thus will be requesting I be upped to C-Rank

With that, I'd like to request that my free Minor in Lightning is changed to a Free Major in Lightning. I would then like to request a free minor in Wind.

Currently I have 5 abilities RPed for. I've purchased an Ability card and with the C-Rank I'll be able to have 8 plus my free Shinobi 101. So here goes nothing for 4 new Ability RPs.

Elemental Illusion
For days Kichiru had been pondering upon a question that appeared to him in the middle of the night. If all types of Jutsu, whether it be Ninjutsu or Taijutsu or Genjutsu, were controlled simply by the mixture of Physical and Spiritual chakras, then could it be possible to somehow combine them? He had heard stories of mystical swordsmen able to apply elemental effects to their blades, but would it be possible to do the same to Genjutsu, that which affects the mind? In a world where the Steward Kazekage could create unique life, it must be possible to somehow fuse the two. And so he spent those days studying upon the natures of elemental affinities as well as that of Genjutsu. Over his time at the academy he had found himself a bit more talented when it came to the use of Ninjutsu, though not as much when it came to Genjutsu. If he were to tap into that source of chakra, such as when he attempted to do so when performing an elemental Ninjutsu, but while keeping the same balance of Physical and Spiritual chakras as when using a Genjutsu, then it might be possible for him to carry some of the innate elemental power into the Genjutsu itself. It would take time, but he was confident that he would be able to somehow imprint his chakra with one of the elements he had spent a great deal of time practicing and thus trick the mind of his opponent into feeling under the effects of said elemental power.

Shinobi 101 Kinetic Genjutsu -> Nin Accuracy
Although he had managed to sucesfully theorize a way in which he could imprint upon his chakra the power of his instinctive elemental affinities, Kichiru still had the issue of simply being a more talented Ninjutsu-user than he was a Genjutsu-user. Regardless of how much he seemed to focus on it, he always seemed to feel a strange sort of hesitation, as if the specific combination of chakras within his body simply wasn't as fluid enough for his particular skillset. He could either dedicate months of training to fix this problem, or he could try and come up with a better solution to once again augment his Genjutsu with his affinity for Ninjutsu. In order to do this, he would have to focus on replicating the effects of a Genjutsu whilst using the same techniques he would normally use for Ninjutsu. Though, it was likely he would need to dedicate all his effort into doing such a task, as fundamentally changing the way he used chakra could come with negative effects if he were to push himself to far. Thus, in order to lessen the strain on both his body and the amount of time he wanted to spend on this technique, he decided he would focus on the Kinetic parts of the body. It would meld well with his newfound natural affinity towards Lightning Ninjutsu, meaning he could use that type of chakra melding, which seemed to come instinctually to him, in order to mimic the nervous system effects that would happen due to a succesful Genjutsu, all without having to go through the strenuous process of the normal Genjutsu chakra-molding technique.

Elemental Aura
Over the course of his training Kichiru had begun to realize one of his biggest concerns was staying protected during the battles to come. As long as he would be protected he would be able to properly treat his friends' wounds as well as push back against any enemy who would threaten to inflict such wounds. Though, there were simply times in battle, he figured, where he'd be distracted by his Medical techniques and making sure his allies were in proper shape to keep fighting that he'd simply let his guard down for a split second. Thus, he needed some way to maintain his guard without having to divert attention away from his friends when they were in need. Whilst observing sparring matches between stronger Shinobi than he, Kichiru had realized that, at times, they were capable of a continous release of chakra around their bodies that would act as a sort of defensive shield against oncomming attacks. While he wasn't sure he'd be able to mimic their strength or intensity, he was certian he would be able to create some sort of similar aura of chakra around him to act as a line of defense against oncoming attacks. While at that, he had the idea of applying his earlier techniques of imprinting elemental effects into his chakra whilst he performed Genjutsu to the defensive auras he could create. In doing so, he would be able to strengthen the auras that were based upon chakra he had a natural affinity to.
Duelist
During his sparring session with Yanjirou Kichiru had noticed that both of the students were fighting in a relatively different manner than if they were to be fighting along-side one another against another group of adversaries. In their situation, he would be able to focus his attention on a singular target instead of having to constantly switch his focus between all those that might advance on him and his allies. Though it would likely be dangerous to put on such a fighting style during group combat, Kichiru knew that there might one day come a situation where he would be unable to rely on his allies, regardless of how much that thought worried him. If he was separated and caught by some enemy Shinobi, he would have to be able to stand his ground and learn how to focus his attention in such a way to gain the upper ground in such a unique scenario. To do this, Kichiru continued to watch different types of sparring matches as they occurred between the village Shinobi, both one on one and also group matches. During these matches, he would take notes on how differently the combatants acted in either scenario, devising a theoretical way in which he could apply their instincts, which they likely gained over years of experience, to his own fighting-style.

I'd like to link my training thread below, in which I'd like to sort of do these Dojo/Training posts simultaneously in order to save time on the part of the Roller and Councilor helping me out with these request. In order for cleanness, I would be receiving C-Rank and my affinities from the dojo, then my water jutsu from training that will then be mastered, then I will be requesting approval for my Water Minor Affinity from the Dojo as well as my AEs for Sand/Wood/Gravity/Kinesis. Then in my training I'd be purchasing and mastering Anti-Gravity in order to qualify for the Elemental Aura written above.
