A golden dusk was falling coalescing over the hostile lands of Marsh Country. With Spring having started a month prior, the flora and air had taken a fresh glow of vibrant greens and the crispness of a just past winter. In the vast landscape painted pictures of dominating and jagged mountains; at the feet of each lay an abundance of lush fields of tall-grass, thickets and varying sizes of streams to rivers that strew about the landscape in a rather picturesque manner. Although to any fellow that wasn't educated in the history of Marsh, may never realize that many of these now gorgeous lands used to be savage-lands of war, blood and ruin-- Leading to the now understanding to why in these highly resourceful lands... Bore few habitats of the human form and intellect.
Here our long-elapsed travelers, and newly arrived Kaminari no Kuni denizens have found themselves. Within' the brush of a large patch of trees, all of which stood impressively at nearly a hundred and fifty feet each, it was clear to the former that this area would serve as a valuable place to setup their temporary camp during their arduous travels. Equally so for the latter, given that night had begun falling during their searches and travels- They were due to find somewhere quick to setup camp. Only to find that, in the ill-populated lands. Had a make-shift camp burrowed deep within' the heavy cover of the trees.
With two tents pitched; one slightly wider than the other. And a campfire crackling in it's center of the defined boundaries of this campsite; further inspection brought sight to two comfortably sitting companions.
One of which looked to be in his mid-late twenties, adorned with scraggly shoulder-length tar-black hair that in some parts were cuffed into a pony-tail that hang down the nape. His skin as it were, looked tinted by the sun from exposure; with a notable scar that bore down the length of his right-eye and to the jaw-line. His attire gave suspicion that he were likely a nomad of trade, with furs, tanned leathers, and scales that acted as one could propose was something akin to armor. Lastly, his eyes- a dour-gaze matched to his facial expression of a somber man; attention driven towards the rotisserie-slung rabbit meat over the fire. However, something of his presence indicated a strong awareness of his surroundings.
Next to him sat a young reddish-brown haired girl in which was worn with purpose, well-kept and slung in a pony-tail for any excess that lived on her back. With large globes of verdant curiosity for eyes; too directed to the food that lay await for their stomachs. Her attire was, and is entirely up to the player (as I can't find anything on it). Saving the broken immersion some; neither of which appeared to be plainly obvious in their affiliation.
However, neither bore any weaponry so to speak either.
With some incredibly keen eyes; one may notice that the larger of the two tents, appeared to have the sounds of light-snoring. And perhaps petite feet siting out the folds at the end.
"Yare... I know I dislike the usage of needless energy expenditure. However, these passed few weeks have really been something, huh." My eyes drifted from the hung food to my companion, and grand-student. I wonder if it's appropriate to call one a grand student... But she is Siu's to be lead- And the latter by me... Why do I bother with these menial thoughts-- Hunger, perhaps. Adjusting how I sat, with my rump propped on a log that made-shift for a stool. Either of my elbows had commanded towards my knees. A preferable position, given the need for quick movement; but allowed for adequate rest and posture.
A bellow of air pushed out of my nose, keeping my breathing steady and my mind acute to my surroundings-- I would much prefer not having a replay of the last time we were ambushed. Bloody Marsh-landers are tricky to sense given their distinct lack of chak- Pausing, I let my mind settle. And my eyes resumed their attention to the fire afore me. "You did well though, so far your travel-capability and astute attention to adapting to the circumstances you're presented with have really been established as true to your skill-level. But never allow yourself to fall into complacency." Giving myself time to naturally breath, basking in the glow of the fire was also- a nice touch. Needless to say, I had been alerted to the presence of two others- beyond my three.. Four. Truthfully, if it weren't for the forth, I may not have noticed with their current levels of chakra.
At the moment, I decided against acting to their arrival. Merely directed my attention to Shizuka; an aired cough to draw her attention. My eyes directing her own to the distant shadows that lingered all around us- Namely, two of the human stature. Perhaps my nerves were a bit better off than they usually are; given that I had laid a number of kunai all around the camp and the surround region, it would be fair to say that the grounds were free reign for me if the need arose. "But. I think- There needs to be some mention of conserving oneself; you never know when such a need will surface that you will have to do or die. And if you've used everything on lesser obstacles, you will be faced with a tragic loss." I sniffed, allowing the gentle loft of smoke fill my lungs. A smell, I'll always appreciate and take when I can. I then lowered my voice in which only Shizuka could truly interpret. "Wouldn't you agree? But- Perhaps we should save the words of wisdom to share with our newest guests. Would you mind fetching them?"

Notes
- While I set it up for Shizuka to post first, if your characters are so emboldened to approach on their own. They're welcome to; I just know Shizuka will be waking up soon to my post time.
- None of the three of you are under any obligation to word match me. I spent most of it just defining a scene, interactions are more valuable.
- While I do try to do a post a day, we all have lives. And ultimately, have all week to complete this. So as long as you try to reply, we should be good.
- Have fun, any questions. Just ask.
