Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Deep within the Forest Of Death, in an Area called the 'Heart Of The Forest', Sashin finds himself training alone. As a child, members of his clan would bring him and the other kids here to practice their clan techniques. "Just as dangerous as allways." He thought, as he glanced around at all the poisonous insects and vegetation. This place brought back terrible memories for him, but it also provided an odd sense of security. Many people come to this forest to test themselves, while numerous chunnin exams had been held here as well. But, this wasn't that time of year. Balling his left hand into a fist, and drawing his arm close to his chest, he looked at his bicep. Some time ago, he learned how to inscribe cursed seals; and of course, he placed one upon himself.

Up until this point, he had never bothered using it. There was no reason and it was meant to be a 'just in case' sort of thing. However, he found himself growing increasingly more keen on the idea of just utilizing it. Lowering his arm down, he sighed. "Alright then." He said, aloud, as he cliched both fist. The cursed seal upon his arm began to glow red, as symbols began to run up his shoulder and down his forearm. He could feel an intense amount of chakra coursing throughout his body, delivering a subtle sting as he clinched his jaw.

His eyes focused, as he stomped his foot upon the ground; activating his clans tremor sense technique, he began to read the vibrations of his surroundings. Glancing to his right, he picked up on the presence of some wild boar's. Without a second thought, his body began to react as he took off in their direction. Drawing his battle axe, he noticed how swift he seemed to be now; the power of the astral seal, at it's finest. Jumping to the base of a tree, axe still in hand, he sprung from it to another taking note of how quickly he was accelerating.

Within seconds, the boar's were within sight. "Dinner!" He shouted, as he sprung forward, axe drawn, and let loose upon the largest of the group. Swiftly, he sliced it's head off as the rest of the group, shocked, took off. Not caring for them, he began to relax and will the cursed seal to deactivate. "huh?" He thought, as he realized the cost of using the seals power. "Although that was barely twenty seconds, it cost that much." He thought to himself. It had granted him a huge speed increase, alongside a surge in power, but it had greatly diminished his chakra reserves.

Slinging the blood from his axe onto the ground, he swiftly hung it on his hip as he glanced at the boar. While he had killed this creature, and planned to harvest it's meat, his mind seemed clouded. At the moment, Sashin had second thoughts about the cursed seal. Did it drain him that much because it was the first time he used it? Was it something he could potentially train and master? If he used it more, would is require less chakra to maintain? These Questions, and several more popped into his mind as he crouched down towards the body of the boar. "I think I'd like to find out." He told himself, as he drew a small kunai and began to gut the animal.

A couple weeks later, Sashin once again found time to head back to the depths of the forest of death. He had just completed a series of missions and had been given some time off to recuperate. While he hadn't taken any form of injury, and the fact he felt it was unneeded, it did give him time to train himself. Before heading into the forest itself, he had stopped by the village's academy and obtained a list of basic elemental techniques he wanted to try his hand at learning and mastering. While he did plan on utilizing his cursed seal, and trying to better condition himself towards its use, he also wanted to expand his own knowledge when it came to jutsu.

Also, he wanted to better train himself and work on his defensive tactics. With a lot to work on in such a short time, Sashin quickly made his way in. A little over an hour later, he found the clearing where he had previously slain the boar. Nothing but bones, and a rotten stench, remained. Looking down at his feet, for a moment, he then turned and walked away from it before settling on a nearby spot to camp the next couple of days.

At first, things were simple; the list of basic techniques proved to easy for him. He quickly grew tired of wasting his time with them, before he began trying to form element barriers. Two days would pass, before he gave it a rest with the techniques. "I could've practiced this junk anywhere." He thought, as he instantly remembered why he chose this place to begin with. Looking down at his left bicep, the cursed seal caught his eye once again.

As he stood there, looking at the seal, a thought crossed his mind. "Yeah, it's about time I see if I can crank it up a notch." Acknowledging why he came here in the first place, he lowered his arms and took a deep breathe. Standing, with his knees bent as if he he had just landed from a tree above, his eyes began to glow with excitement as the cursed seal being to radiate a bright, yet dark red, color. The seal seemed to burn away as his chakra, as it began to spread from his bicep up towards his shoulder, and then to his neck. Before long, it had grown to cover half of his face. "This is different than last time." He said, acknowledging how much more power he seemed to draw from it.

Shifting his feet, he leaped forward at max speed. As he grew accustomed to the raw strength of the cursed seal, and the speed it seemed to bless him with, he began to test his own limits. While covering a large distance, he'd come to a near stop, before changing directions just to test his own reflexes. Second, by second, he felt himself get faster and more agile. The surge of power was beginning to become addicting to him.

As he climbed a tree, and leapt from one branch to another, the sound of crazed laughter would fill the air. Sashin was experiencing a form of euphoria he had never felt before. As he jumped down from the tree tops, he braced himself for impact with the ground only to land on his feet in the very stance he had taken early. "LEEEETTTSSSSSSS GOOOOO!" He shouted, as chakra rushed to to right shoulder, bicep, forearm, and fist. Dashing forward, he clotheslined the base trunk of a tree directly in front of him with his right arm, as hard as he possibly could; smashing it in half before jumping out of the way.

Standing back and watching the tree fall, the cursed seal began to deactivate on it's own. A look of shock crossed his face, as the exhaustion began to set in. Dropping to a single knee, he reached forward and touched the ground to stop himself from falling. "I see, the longer I use it the more it takes out of me." He told himself, as he began to breathe heavily. "But it didn't even feel like my body anymore. That power's intense." He said out loud, as he decided to simply fall forward and roll onto his back. With his arms sprawled out, he laid there wondering about what he could accomplish if he perfected his use of this cursed seal.

After several minutes of just breathing and trying to collect his thoughts, Sashin would eventually lean up, and slowly get to his feet. His body still ached from the effects of the cursed seal, but he knew he needed to figure out how far from his campsite he was and return to it. For what seemed like an hour, he stumbled through the forest until he came upon his own camp. Rather than making something to eat, he added a few logs to the embers of what was once his campfire, and lit them on fire with a common fire ninjutsu technique. After doing that, he'd lay down early for the night. His body was in to much pain for him to sit up, eat, and loaf around.

Come the next morning, Sashin found himself waking to the smell of fresh dew all around him. His body was no longer in pain, and oddly enough he felt refreshed given the lack of food from the previous night. "I've recovered that quickly, huh?" He asked himself, as he sat up and approached the remaining embers of the previous nights fire. Reaching for a few logs, he once again set a fire before rummaging through his bags for some food. Shortly there after, he prepared some breakfast and got right back to his training.

The day was still early, but he didn't care. His interest in the cursed seal and mastery over it was his sole goal at the moment. Smacking his left bicep, a creepy green crossed his face as he activated his tremor sense ability once again. Immediately, he took notice of the terrain while the cursed seal began to spread across his arm, shoulders, face, and even down to his ribcage. This time, he felt even more power radiating throughout himself. "My bodies beginning to get more adapted to it." He thought, as he took dashed off.

A couple weeks later, Sashin found himself with some down time once again. While it was only about two days, it would be more than enough time to sneak in some training. Every since the last time he went to the Forest Of Death, he wondered how much his body could actually adapt to the cursed seal. His recovery time seemed to be able eight hours, or a full nights rest. He wondered if by utilizing the cursed seal more frequently, could he just lower that recovery period all together. Rushing from his home, through the village, he once again came to the entrance of the Forest Of Death. As he looked upon the gates, he noticed they were left open; not by him. He wondered why this was, but without anyone else in sight to question, he just walked inside and closed the fence behind him.

As he traveled through, he found seven small human tracks. He couldn't help but notice them. "There must be some kids in here..." He thought, as he continued deeper into the forest. "Wait, why would kids be in here? Are they haven't some sort of exam or something?" He questioned, as he focused the chakra into his feet and began scaling one of the trees. Upon reaching a branch, he began to jump from one tree to another. If there was an active exam, he didn't want to interfere. Still, from high up within the tree branches, he noticed more signs. First, an abandoned campsite with small disturbed circles of dirt.

"At least they buried their shit." He thought, as he began to get curious. This kids were leaving a trail that was pretty hard to miss. Sashin knew that if they had some sort of opposition, they would obviously be being tracked. Still, in his mind this might be some random kids undergoing an exam. Everything though he wanted to watch up close, he'd still keep his distance and not get involved. And so, Sashin began to intentionally follow the trail.
