Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.
This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Nobuyuki was an intelligent fellow, and as such, he felt it was necessary to become disciplined in more than one field of combat rather that in just his specialty which happened to be ninjutsu. Working on becoming strong in more than one area meant that he would be adaptable to every situation and have the ability to mutate his style in the middle of a fight. He picked up the spear and began to train himself how to fight with Taijutsu. But on the days he was resting from the physical exhaustion he began to study Genjutsu and it's practical uses in a fight. He quickly learned that it was a much more potent tool than he ever gave it credit for. He'd spend days trying to find specific books or people who would be able to provide information about the subject.
Eventually he came upon an elder who was a teacher at the academy. While normally the old man would have been teaching the basics to new academy students, Nobuyuki asked him to delve into the complexities of the unique form of jutsu. In moments the old man had Nobuyuki on the ground writhing, and he wasn't weak of mind. "The first step to mastering Genjutsu is to master your own mind and make it impenetrable. Once you understand your own mind. You will understand the enemies." he was told. "How do I even begin to master my mind? What you ask is... philosophical at best." Nobuyuki countered with annoyance in his voice.
"Meditate and you will find your answer."
In his youth, Nobuyuki left the genjutsu expert and returned home, thinking on what he had been told. Meditation was something he had always thought the only the elderly took the time to do. He had always been to busy to even consider such a task as boring as meditation. But he had seen that meditation was likely to help in a couple of his books, so he sat himself down on a pillow in his meager living room. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, letting the silence fill his ears. Except there was no silence. When he first moved out of the Ishikawa complex, it was to an apartment in a busy part of town. There was always noise, smells, and distractions. Huffing angrily he left his home and went to the Nimbus Delectatio. He found a nice quite place and opened his mind up.
Everyday he would go to the forest, and everyday let goes of what was in his mind. Weeks went by, and he was no closer to understanding what he was supposed to get out of this. He returned to the old man with accusations that he wasted his time. "Prepare yourself. Clear your mind!" he ordered and immediately put Nobuyuki under a potent genjutsu. As the world shifted and things changed, Nobuyuki took a deep breath and shut his eyes. As he exhaled the world seemed to fade from view until it was replaced by the real one. His eyes reopened with a smile. It wasn't about mastering his mind, but rather mastering control of his thoughts and consciousness. "Now you may begin to master the art of Genjutsu. Follow me."
For months, Nobuyuki trained with the man. He learned how to conquer the weak minds of others, and find the chinks in the armor of those who were much better guarded against the trickiest of genjutsu. The elements of the ninjutsu that he had conquered were made manifest in his illusions. And while using genjutsu as he did put him at greater risk individually, he knew he could count on his allies to protect him while he broke the minds of their enemies. His soon to be mastery over Genjutsu was what made him unique amongst others of his caliber in the ANBU. While they were content brawling and going for the kill, Nobuyuki was busy planning their target's to make it look like he was never involved.
If you can break a man's mind, there is no evidence of a fight on his body.

Nobuyuki stood resolute looking out at all the people with a smile on his face. There was a pressure building in his abdomen that he couldn't ignore for much longer. He was currently dressed in a nice suit. His hair was extra nice today. Just what was the occasion? To his left and right were other men of similar fashion. Across from him stood a line of young women in matching dresses. He leaned over and began to whisper to one of the other men. "Know how they said we should have gone to the bathroom earlier? I made a grave mistake..." he grumbled. The other man stifled a laugh. "I can make it through this." he told himself and began to concentrate on only one thing. A singular blade of grass about five feet away from him. As long as he remained focused on that there was no way that things would get out of hand.
As soon as the ceremony was over, he had a very short amount of time before the pictures of the wedding party were going to be taken. But he could feel that this was going to be one of the longest pisses in his entire life. He needed a plan, and fast. He would need distractions. He saw one of the bridemaids bump a table with wine classes softly and quickly reacted, sending a tendril of shadow towards a glass to knock it all over her dress. Hysterics followed. But perhaps something else was needed as well. He sent a few tendrils to tie a few of the men's shoelaces together so at least one of them would fall over while he was in the can.
"Ahhhh..." he moaned. Nothing felt better than emptying a painfully full bladder.
As he came back to the reception, he could see that his little pranks had caused a bit more cause than before. It seemed some more malicious women in the crowd took advantage of the situation and drama began to spark. There needed to be someone who could reorganize the event and wipe the welling tears of the bride. A proper strategist! And well, Nobuyuki felt responsible as well, so it only made sense for him to fix things. He gathered the groomsmen together to explain the plan. He gave each of them a specific duty and they all placed hands on each others and chanted quietly before departing each going their own way. Nobuyuki's job was to get the photographer to stop freaking out and get the right people together for pictures. A few yelps could be heard as his comrades took control of the woman and got them to settle down. And finally, the brother was sent to comfort his sister the bride. All was well once again.
It was calm for the most part as the party raged onward. The booze flowed, the food was good, and the bride remained the most beautiful throughout the night. But as time went on, men who couldn't hold their liquor soon got out of hand and Nobuyuki was forced to keep his eye on them. It was long before shouts could be heard and the many eyes of the party laid on them. He couldn't help but smile. It wasn't a kumogakurean wedding without someone trying to punch someone else. He got up from his seat and swiftly intervened as one of them through a blow that would surely connect. "I think it's time for you to go home." he grunted, exerting his strength on the mans hand he had caught mid-flight. The man groaned of pain and backed away quickly. Other groomsmen were there now and diffusing the situation.
With a final nod to the bride, Nobuyuki returned to his seat to finish his dessert.
The following RP is for: Jutsu Mastery
Conserving chakra was a skill that he believed all shinobi needed to learn. After all, if you are evenly matched with an opponent, then whomever ran out of chakra usually ended up being the loser. So Nobuyuki set out to make his chakra reserves greater, and at the same time learning how to be more efficient with his chakra. For example, he used different hands seals than usual. It allowed him to eliminate complex combinations and longer preparation times. In the end, this made his taijutsu with his spear nearly chakraless, which allowed for prolonged use of the weapon before he needed to switch over to Ninjutsu to finish the fight.
