the bird landed in the leaf aviary after a long long flight all the way over from cloud. direct flight. must've taken him a long time

he it the bird also had a letter taped to its back. it was protected from the elements by the bird's wings and good luck i guess with no bad weather

the letter too was closed by a piece of tape. the piece of tape had the word 'LeaFf' written on it. imagine the weirdo that must've sent this letter, huh?

[Uchiha Takeshi]

Beams of light rippled across the streets of Konaha where they had managed to pierce the buildings and find gaps to wiggle their way into. It was a beautiful day and a peaceful one. It seemed that Takeshi would be walking the streets alone once more. It was clear that he still had to consider what action he would be taking and what was the right direction to move in. The talks with cloud had been productive and even he had to admit that things started to feel more stable than before. Peace was finally settling across his land as the Lord Forth he felt a weight lifting off his shoulders as he walked towards the avory, it has been a while since he had any information from Maki.

“I feel we should have had something by now from him about how the progress is going inside of Sand, yet nothing as always.”

His eyes glanced up slightly as he looked up to spot the man that guarded the avory it was clear that he had some information that he wanted to give to Takeshi.

“We have had a letter from Cloud, I haven’t touched the bird as it is addressed to Leaf in general Lord Forth.”

“It is fine, I will see what it is now”


Takeshi entered into the avory and allowed himself to turn to the bird, as he went to it standing on the ledge he unstrung the back of the bird and allowed himself to take the letter before unwrapping it and reading it slowly taking in each word that was on the birds back.

In a split second the sound of lightning echoing around the chamber, the smell of smoke and a puff of feathers erupted from where the bird should have been. Signalling the destruction of the messenger, as a sigh escaped the Lord Forth’s lips as the death of the bird was signalled. He then allowed himself turned on his heels and walk away from the situation leaving the avory free from the work done already.
