Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Laughter, a child laugh. His eyes opened to find himself sitting in a room, rather cozy looking scene. A nice wooden house, hand built by the man who sits beside a beloved beautiful women. Her hair a shimmering wave of gold. Wearing the both of them had fine clean silk kimono's. They looked happy, cuddled together, sitting in front of the fireplace which he also built himself. Beside the couple sleeping in a crib was their angel like child.

This scene, so calm and tranquil. No, it was not something he was allowed to remember. The demon had always stolen the good memories from him. The times of love, of warmth. Of peace. Never, it was always torturing him. And this time, it had finally found his breaking point. He's scene many horrors in his mind, at night when he tried to sleep. Or when he tried to remember his wife face or that of his child's name.

This time, the demon was showing him something that was new to Satou's eyes. He saw himself in peace, but it flickered and shifted. the walls smoldering away as the wooden house lit ablaze. The chimney and fireplace becoming a roaring torrent of flames as the air began to cluster in ash and black smoke. Yet the man and wife sat lovingly together. The two look upon each other.

Satou saw her, her face. He was the man sitting next to the women and the child right by them. Their home was in flames. But as he looked to her after looking for the child in the crib. They were no long side by side. But he on top of her, his mouth filled with blood and flesh. Her neck, a gaping hole of blood, muscle and bone. He was devouring her, he could taste her blood in his mouth, the horror stricken face she made. It seared into his mind, his once bright beaming blue eyes had hollowed out with shock and terror. Her once beautiful sunny day smile was petrified in a screaming gaunt slack jaw.

He laid there, as the world burned around him, staring upon his beloved. Torn apart by his own hands? This must be a lie!? It had to be. Satou knew that he would never do such a thing to the women he loved. Less, it was'nt he who did it. He turned and stood away from the corpse of his lovely Sukino. Her name echoed in his mind. He knew her name...

"Su...ki...no..." His lips whispered, his hands twitched. His eyelids trembled. His body began to move. A black seeping rich darkness flowed from his blood, it formed like claws and hands scraping along the ground as the blood was beginning to be pulled back to his body.
Satou looked to the crib, inside he found nothing but a gut churning mess of organs and torn child limbs. He could feel the vomit wrenching up his throat as he barreled away gagging and sobbing horrible. "No! No it can't be!" He screamed and smashed his fists into the floor. crushing the burning wood beneath his fingers. His colossal strength shattering the wood to splinters. Slowly he stood amongst the flames, the two corpses of his past life. His eyes looked about the room, their belongings, their memories swallowed by the flames and the darkness.

Behind the demon stood the true menace, a creature of giants form. Thin like pine yet its skin was marble white, it had no eyes, merely slitted orifices that opened to reveal beady spider like eyes. It's mouth a giant maw that splits into three sections, filled to the brim with grotesque rotted fangs. It's clothing had been tailored like a business man, his hair a long wave of black tendrils. "Its time.....Learn what you are. Become what you were supposed to be." It hissed in an ethereal voice.

Shivers ran through Satou's body, he looked upon the beast. Yet he seemed unafraid, nor was he overly excited about the though. "I'm never, GOING TO BE YOU!" He roared and the flames shivered before dieing out all together, nothing was left but a smoldering ash's and the burnt home soon falling way.

The two stepped out the home, the forest, familiar. Kind, now it seemed so twisted and false. "You will join me, you have no choice. Your mortal coil has ran dry, if you perish now. Then I too and sent to the void once more. I will make a deal, this once. Till next we meet, in due time. You, will have a portion of power back. Just enough so you can survive. But with the next encounter. I promise you, your soul, will be mine!" The demon cackled as it snapped its fingers.

Sukino stood before Satou, on the alter of their wedding day. She dressed in the finest threads weaved in an ornate kimono. Her warm body against his, to feel her lips upon his. Then the demon mocked. "You killed her."...

"No!...." He groaned from his lips, His hands clenched and and formed fists as he began to move, the shrapnel in his body began to fall out, or rather, pushed out as blood seep up his body to seal the wounds. The darkness began to grow around him, forming an aura that pulsated a threatening sensation through the entire floor. His eyes opened, blackened pools. His lips snarled as he bared his fangs.

But he paused, standing a bit more strait as he cracked his neck, spat blood on the wall and looked at the two who caused such a mess in his room. "Just great, here I was just going to redecorate this place. You two limp dicks are gonna get the shit kicked out of you. And guess what. I'm the cocky son of a bitch who's going to bust you the f@#! up!" He grinned a most twisted grin as he cracked his knuckles. Only a portion of his powers returned to him. He could use all the forms of unarmed jutsu he remembered, but they were slopped and new to his body after many years of weakening himself.

But his demonic powers were showing true now. He had some chance now. But not much.

Kushin's voice seemed to halt the pair, they moved and looked through the dust which was beginning to thin out now. They probably wondered why a fellow patient would stop them, but then on the realization that there were multiple persons in that room they probably realized the one speaking wasn't a patient.

Unexpectedly for Kushin, Satou got back up. Well, it wasn't to be unexpected. He moved quick enough to be considered a strong shinobi, and a blast like that wouldn't have kept Kushin down. The first thought was one of damn, now I have three people to kill but when Satou spoke Kushin realized that that wasn't the case. Instead he only had to deal with the issue of one enemy.

Bruiser, we have to get out of here, there'll be more medical shinobi on the way, and then ANBU. As Snake spoke to Bruiser Kushin spoke to Satou...
Watch the shadows. The smaller one is a Nara. We don't want to end up being continually bound and then smashed by the big one. The big one uses flames.
Who are you who knows about us? Snake suddenly said, a hint of both interest and unrest in his voice.

Jumping back from the shadow which lunged at him, placing the light between them and making his shadow fall further behind him, Kushin answered with a Zephyr's Grace, sending wind in the form of a dragon at Snake who managed to avoid it. The winds crashing against the wall behind them slicing up the padded cell.

Kushin's reaction had been based on Wind not casting a shadow, he hoped that that would be the best means for an attack, yet he remembered that Snake wasn't alone back there and Bruiser wasn't going to stand by and watch. Instead using the wind jutsu to empower his own fire jutsu he let rip with the Fire element's version of the same jutsu, the Dragon Flame Bomb. As it grew in intensity Kushin realized that it didn't only have one head, but many and they struck out at all the occupants of the cell. Using his medical jutsu a Pristine Aura sprung up around each of the three, its healing effects he hoped would allow his temporary ally to regain some potentially lost strength. The fires weren't strong enough to break the barrier, but Kushin could feel that they would need little more than a punch to break through.

A fight. To risk your life and others around you. To abandon hope and look for a glorious death. Many looking upon fighting as an ends to a means. From point A to B. Maybe this case was no different. Two shinobi wished to be free to do as they pleased. Rather simple really, and yet still. Satou felt like he didn't care one bit. As he stood behind the wavering shield that focused around him, the girl and the strange shinobi doctor. Satou could only grin and laugh. "Well, that is neat!" He turned to the Doctor. "Oi, Doc....Which one can I kill? I mean, The Nara guy...Hmmm, Might break him too quick. You can have him...The big boy over there flinging fire jutsu." Pointing at Bruiser. Satou looked him up judging him. "I wonder how fast I can turn him into jelly....I also wonder, what its gonna feel like when I punch him. It's like I'm punching dough!" He chuckled. Passing back and fourth behind the barrier, getting railed up. Grinning like a madman. The dark aura around him grew and pulsated. First it was'nt very strong. But it soon intensified, encasing him. His aura had such malice that it would even repel these men if used properly. But right now, he abandoned proper thought. He just wanted to fight. To destroy these two, just the sheer need to kill them and, it would be trouble if they escaped.
Form of the Demon - Jutsu (1 point, 1 to rank up)
Restriction- A-Rank and up
This technique is the ultimate incarnation of a demonic ninja’s tie to his or her hellish ancestry. Releasing all bonds and restrictions, they unleash their true demonic nature, becoming a terrifying being of power and awe. The after affects are disastrous, however.
Rank 1: While Active, the user gains a +1 to all secondary stats and all jutsu are considered "Dark". This means they deal +5% damage to all damage types that does not apply to damage buff limits, and bypasses half of any damage reduction the victim may have. In addition, all damage dealt upon the user is reduced by 10% and this reduced damage is instead converted into CP for the user.
Rank 2: While Active, the user gains a +2 to all secondary stats and all jutsu are considered "Dark". This means they deal +10% damage to all damage types that does not apply to damage buff limits, and bypasses half of any damage reduction the victim may have. In addition, all damage dealt upon the user is reduced by 20% and this reduced damage is instead converted into CP for the user.

Cost: 3 AP and 2,400 HP to initiate. 1,140 HP/Rnd.

Notes: This counts as a Chakra Armor.

Bristling with an intense demonic aura that filled the entire cell with dread. His demonic eyes seeped past the pasty white. A rancid yellowing that twisted and glowed eerily. His hands lit with a blackened energy, He had no weapons. But his fists, his fists were the most devastating thing about him. He was a berserk fighter. All the thrill of combat in punching someone to death. The kill with your bare hands. Yes, he loved it. The thrill of it. The site of a mans skull shattering sent chills of joy through him. This was going to be fun. Of course, his Demonic Aura would plague both friend and foe. He always fought alone. Sadly...
Demonic Aura - Passive (3 points)
Restriction - C Rank and up
A person in touch with their dark side is completely surrounded by a pervading feel of evil that inspires fear in even the strongest of shinobi. Though the power of fear is nice, the aura of doom does make it hard to win the trust of others.
Effect: Every round, every other person in the battle besides the user must make a Genjutsu Save check. If they fail, all jutsu they use that round do -10% damage and they receive -1 Genjutsu DC (stacks to -2 Genjutsu DC). This stops while under the effects of Evil Sealing.

He was ready, he wanted to hurt someone. He was going to kill someone.

Kushin nodded. The thing he was fighting alongside was cocky. Though it was two on two, so perhaps he had every reason to be. As it was, Kushin couldn't afford to fight the pair alone. Forming seals he let the barrier drop Get 'em Kushin said effectively unleashing Satou upon them. The enemies tactic would be a simple one. The Nara would attempt to bind the Pyro would dish out the pain.

First step towards nullifying this was to stop the ability to be bound. Yet he had gathered his energies before dropping the barrier, and so it was that Snake found himself suddenly unmoving. His vein's popped out on his arms, his face, his legs. Kushin calmly walked towards him. All the pain he had taken washed away as he did so. Not from medical jutsu, but from his clans ultimate technique.

He wasn't paying attention to what was happening between the other two. It didn't concern him. If Satou died then Kushin would finish the Pyro off while Snake was bound uselessly. If the Pyro died then Satou and Kushin would be able to take out the Nara. Kushin just had to make sure that he couldn't do any of those sneaky Nara tricks that he knew about. Like pulling them into a shadow dimension. That would have been annoying.

Blood began to make its way out of Snake's veins and arteries, through the skin as the pressure built up. Causing the man to bleed in a most painful way. Kushin flashed a smirk for the faintest moment Did you think your bloodline was the only one with a bind? I now control your body, but not through a mirroring method like that of the Nara clan. Your very life essence is my weapon. You understand how this works right? Your blood is stopping you from moving. Your blood is what will kill you. How does it feel to be betrayed by your own body?

He glanced towards the other fight. He formed some handseals and suddenly a wall of fire, a natures guard, sprung up between them. Just in case someone got an idea to attack you to break you out of this. He would wait now. Wait to see who would make their way through that wall.

The flames licked at his skin as jutsu of burning styles were slung at him. The flames engulfed the small square room they were held in. The flames blasted against him, sending him up against the far wall once more. The flames heat and searing power burned most his clothing to ash's and his flesh smoldering burnt. The walls around him blackened as well as if hit by a blast furnace. The immense pain of fire jutsu, it caused him great physical pain.

Yet his nerves were numbed, he couldn't think clearly anymore. All he wanted to do, was kill this man before him. His smile wild, sadistic and such a masochistic nature. He laugh, stretching and feeling his skin tare. Blood, his blood. It was seeping away, his wounds were bad. But it felt so right. To be in this pain, this realization of life and death. This was his thrill. To find the breaking point, to escape death every time.

"Yes." He hissed as his hands clenched into fists, taking up a martial arts stance of some sort. To prepare, his body moved in that flicker motion once more. He was right up close to the thick man, his hands moving to make seals. Yet the demon would not allow the flames to continue. His fists raised, striking to the fat mans throat with his quick left. Then ducking low to give a powerful shot to the right kidney with the corresponding hand. He soon took off in a flurry of jabs, smashing his fists with such might the sound of bones shattering could be her from the other side of the wall.

Both of them were spent, Satou's wounds were getting the better of him. His thirst was growing. Looking at his hands, he saw they were just as damaged. He had no bracers, gauntlets or gloves to protect his hands. Blood. His heart pounded, the voice in his head echoed. The demon whispers so softly to him.

You.Killed.Her.

The one known as Bruiser, broken down. He was winded and stumbling. He couldn't catch his breath enough to make a simple jutsu. His vision was blurry and his legs trembled. But when he looked up, his eyes focused in a wide look of terror.

Satou stood tall and strong, enveloped in a malice like no other, the room filled with the venomous chakra of blackened ink like textures. His eyes possessed and deranged as was his smile. His hair covered with tendril like vines of chakra flowing down his back, the blackened clock of chakra resembled something much else, as draped about the demons feet continued the tendrils of blackened ink like aura the stretched eerily along the floors. The big man had not more then the whispering of his lips. "Jinchu-" Though his lips didn't have time to finish the word before Satou's fists smashed the man clear in the jaw. Bone shattering punch that sounded off like an explosion in itself as Bruiser's body rag dolled smashing through the wall of flames to roll to a dead halt.

Satou steps into view, covered in the cloak of chakra. Like a cape covering him, they expand outward, massive wings of evil demonic chakra. His presence was more so overwhelming. His grin, ever still twisted as the look of derange pleasure permeated clearly with his voice. "More....Get up." He commanded the lifeless body that laid before them. Nothing. The Demon frowned, looking to Kushin. "I broke mine...can I eat yours?" He chuckled maniacally.

The wall of red flames licked the ceiling as Kushin waited for the fight on the other side to end. Snake stood helpless beside him, his blood pooling on the floor and feeding Kushin's own health. The sounds of battle raged and the wall flickered as waves of energy hit it, making the flames flash brighter and wilder. Kushin had of course chosen it to block them because of the Pyro's love for fire, the wall of fire could absorb his attacks easier than it could other elements. He hoped that it would give him more warning should Satou lose.

It seemed to end, and Kushin waited. If it was Bruiser he would have used enough energy that Kushin would be able to fell him easily. In the middle of the red flames a darkness began to eat away at them. Black flames almost like those used by the Uchiha flickered around the flames and ate away at them. A figure was bathed in them, and Kushin felt a shiver ripple over him. His mind at first deduced it must be Bruiser, the fire was what told him that. Yet then the size of the figure registered.

Satou's voice put any doubt to rest.

The wall flickered, broken by Satou's black flamed aura, revealing a broken figure on the ground. He turned and looked at the body, mocking his dead opponent telling him to get up. Kushin could hear no heartbeat, feel no blood pumping through those veins. Then Satou spoke to Kushin. Kushin could hear the heartbeat of Snake rise, the panic flooding through him as he realized his situation. His life was in Kushin's hand.

A righteous shinobi would deny Satou, take the man into custody and have him imprisoned.

Kushin was not a righteous shinobi. The shock and concern had left him now, instead he waved with an uncaring flip of his hand Go for it.

The way that the aura had enveloped him told Kushin what Satou was. He was an experienced enough shinobi to tell a Jinchuuriki when he saw one. As the screaming went on behind him as Satou attacked Kushin picked up the board which had Satou's notes and wrote on it. It seemed the third party had fainted in the room and Kushin gave her a small kick. Nope, not conscious.

So now Kushin had an issue. What to do with Satou...

Satou's grin, no, the demons grin. It was malicious, twisted sadist grin. The grin that makes mere women and children scream and weep of the dark. The smile of a psycho, a murder. A monsters grin. "Oh goodie goo, I get a yummy snack before bedtime!" He turned his attention from the mortal Doctor. No, this man was extraordinary. When Satou drank his blood clone, something tasted rather funny. It was'nt like others blood, it was strong. Really, strong. He was a predator, he was no simple sheep.

The demon paused, snapping his lips with his snake lengthen tongue slid slowly from bottom to upper lips with a smack as he grinned that jagged toothy grin. His mouth morphing, twisting, slightly from mortal coils. His blackened chakra, started to pool from the blood around the room. Slowly moving to him. Twisting up his legs, to his lips, smearing it in a smile. Licking his lips. Yes, this pray. This weakling could never compare to the Medical man. But this mere morsel would do. He coward away, in hopes to flee. But he was already prepared to either die or be captured and sealed away. Sadly, Satou would not let such the latter happen. His hand warped, the chakra flowed as the hand was gripping the snakes throat rather tightly. To hold the snake. Gripping two fingers right at the larynx, pinching the voice box tightly.

The demon knelt down, his wide, freakishly twist eyes glowed and ebbed. "Shhhh" He hissed in whisper, his other free hand pressed to his lips. "Shhhh.....It'll hurt for just a second. Then there's nothing....I've been there." He giggles before ripping the snakes voice box from his throat, the force of the torn flesh smearing hot red long the floor as it spurt and gurgles. The sound of air trying to be sucked in, but only met with drowning agape chocking.

Hoisting by the hair, the demon looked at his work. "Eh, could be worse." The snake almost fainting if not near death. "Could have lost your head." He then ripped the snakes head clean from his shoulders by driving spear hand jutsu through the opened orifice. Now just holding a head. He lift it over himself the neck dripping the red nectar like a fountain and guzzled every drop till dried.

Satou was satisfied, smearing his bloody wrist on his sleeve. "You like it too...don't you doctor. Blood, that is. I wonder how crazy you are Doc." Satou mumbled, grinning. He kicked the head like a kimari ball. Bouncing away as he chuckled. "I know you're not like others. Your blood, its rather different." He mentioned as he went back to his room and sat on hid bed. He was tired, looking to the girl on the ground, unconscious. He felt his pulse quicken. Hunger, feed me. But his mind settled for wanting a cigarette.

Kushin was knelt by the girl. She wasn't hurt. Satou's words and comments reached him from where the man stood, bloodstained and seemingly happy. Barely moving his head, but enough that he could look at the demon from the corner of his eye he spoke.

I don't just like blood. You see, your food is my weapon, what you hunger for, I kill with. That thing that keeps all of us alive is my birthright. I'm not crazy, not in the slightest. My goal is for Cloud to be the strongest village in the shinobi world, by any means. Which means that it needs to have only the strongest shinobi in it.

Standing his eyes moved back to the girl. Not like her. She is weak, pathetic. Some might look at her and enjoy the view, I look at her and feel sad for our future. He shook his head in silence.

Have you ever heard the term 'you are only as strong as your weakest link'? I will be the one who will remove those weak links and forge a chain that cannot be broken.

He turned to the demon and looked at him, as though he was measuring the man. Clearly strong, clearly not in control. Strong in body but not in mind meant weakness to Kushin, but a weakness that could be fixed if there was desire. Some simply would never become strong, they were the weak. Strong of mind but not of body could still become strong. It was about finding motivators and pushing them. It was about creating a web which could not break, linking those who were strong physically with those who were strong mentally, forging them into a single unit, binding them together to create a whole. Those would be the bonds which held the strongest.

We both know your issue, that is why you remained in your cell as long as you did. Without restraints you could have left whenever you pleased, and not many amongst the mental health medical shinobi would have been more than a speed bump for you. Certainly the chance I would be here would be low. Though fleeing here wouldn't guarantee safety, for there are those who could bring you down amongst the ANBU and Main Branch. So we have an issue. Do I sign you off as a free man, knowing you're not sound of mind or strong enough of will to restrain yourself on your own. Or do I keep you here as a prisoner, your talents and abilities being wasted, rotting in a cell until you decide you want to be free and then end up being killed?

He waited a moment before continuing. Letting the questions sit in the air for long enough that the man before him would realize that Kushin had placed the option for him to be free in the air.

I want a strong Cloud, and you as you are now would not be a part of that. Yet if you could learn to gain control over your desires, if you were willing to align yourself with someone who could help you control your thirst, then there would be.

The sound of a cane reached Kushin's ears at this point and he wondered who was coming now.

The demon sat rather relaxed, he stared at the massive hole in his cell. His home for a few nights was ruined, blood along the floor, his and his enemies. Blood ruled him, or rather so Kushin thought it ruled him completely. His silky crimson eyes looked at the fainted girl. Some would see her as nothing but a figure of good looks, no. If she put in effort she would have succeeded in this horrid world. But for lives like hers, she didn't have the drive. The adrenaline pumping feeling of madness in her, as in all of shinobi. The madness to accept this life of murder, espionage and the sort. To become beings of power that could move the earth and the skies above. No, she was not fated for that sort of life.

Unlike Kushin, Satou was not truly interested in the village really, if it were to go up in flames from Leaf or torn by the gales of Sand. His mind would not be unnerved by such an event. No, what worried him more so, was this village succeeding in conquering all nations. The wy this cloud med nin spoke, was as if in a dictatorship role. To be the best of the best that one could be. Any weakness would be abandoned. It made the demons stomach churn for a reason. Maybe he drank to much, but he couldn't look to Kushin when asked if he would prefer a cell, or to be free.

His lips opened to answer. Yet a sound stopped his voice, what came out was a muffled swear as the demon stood and walked out into the hall. "I hear death tapping upon my door.. be he?" He called out in a calm voice as in view came and elderly man. A giant amongst men, but aged so that his beard flowed like a white ashen cloud down near his feet. His can was old and withered as he looked. Made of old oak from a tree from unknown. His garbs long sheer white, he was not no mere ordinary man. He stood tall and straiten. His posture was resilient even at his age. He held a thickened air about him that could be felt even down the hallway.

Some could not sense this pressure, but surely both the Demon and Kushin could feel it. An old Murderer. Rurou Kotsurugi. The Elder spoke. "Nay, I be not death, but his shadow I be. Drinker of life, do you stand before me as a man, or as a Demon?" Asked the old shinobi as he tapped the cane.

Satou smirked and relaxed a little in his voice. "I be human, I'm not taken yet so you don't have to be so uptight." He sighed slowly through his nostrils.

The old man seemed to lax a little, the air was less stuffy and the tension lifted. "Good." He mumbled as he walked over to the room and looked down to Kushin and the girl on the floor. He turned to Satou. "And not this girl either Demon?" Satou shook his head no. Which the old man frowned.

He The Elder turned his attention to Kushin. "I thank you for keeping him in care. Many apologies for any damaged he's caused. Funds will be given to repair the area. As for Satou, I'd like for him to be returned to my home. He has some work I need him to do. And now he's at a point where he needs more training." He finished and walked away.

Satou sighed, looking to Kushin. "I'll be back when I need to feed and such so you don't have to worry about me losing it. Fair?"

Very well. But remember that at the slightest misstep you can be called back here. You're on our records.

Kushin, unlike Satou, felt nothing from the old man. His eyes had bore witness to bigger, stronger, scarier than either Satou or this old man. Men who had silenced Kushin's tongue simply by their presence.

Nodding Kushin wrote in the papers where Satou could be found. There had been no reply from Satou one way or another in regards to his proposition. So he would take that as a no. Very well then, as long as the man recognized that in the end his freedom was restricted by Kushin's will should Kushin ever desire to put any pressure on that leash.

He knew that that leash would likely snap, that Satou would launch himself free like a rabid dog. Likely with the thought of how dare any try and cage him. But Kushin didn't care, for at that time he would be put down, like the creature he closest resembled.

They could find their own way out, Kushin had cells to organize the repair of.

Before Kushin finished his words, the Old man left. Like a ghost, a shadow be he. Kushin's speech did not sear him deeply, nay. It fueled him. A smile on his lips, cocky in a way. He walked down the halls, looking into the cells of whose who are still trapped here, trapped within themselves. He stopped, not far away from where he left Kushin to his work. "You have little Faith in me. Good, I'll savor the moment when I prove you wrong." He didn't care if the Med nin had heard his words or not. He had a quota to keep. A check to himself, to keep balance. He needed to get out of such a stuffy old place. He did so hate Hospitals. Leaving the Mental ward and entering the main area of care was a complete change, the light. It was so much brighter, false light could never compare.

As the demon stepped outside. He embraced light, The warm of the sun on his face. A man free from a cage, but what cage will he need to break. To finally obtain true balance? He opened his eyes to look upon the village. Leaping into the air and bounding effortlessly to a rooftop. Landing with a light thud of his feet hitting tiles. He looked over the area, the homes. The passerby of people, some even took notice of him. Interaction, no. For now, he wanted to go home in a nice comfortable bed and rest.
