Tomo stared at the sheet held in Kimiki's hand. "No. No way. COME ON!" He swiped the paper from his sister's grasp and smacking it with the back of his free hand.
"It's more loopy than my signature. And it even says Haruki at the bottom! You KNOW my condition. You can't hold me liable for this." Kimiki smirked.
"Oh, but I can. It's a legally binding document, due to there being no proof that it wasn't you. How can we know it was Haruki for sure? How do we know Haruki isn't just another facet of your personality? In the end, your hand signed this, so you have to deal with it." Tomo's eye twitched profusely as his sister took the paper back and walked away.
"I almost died the last time I was on a mission with Tama! You can't make me squad up with her. You can't!"
---A few days later---
Tomo was already breathing heavy. Taking out bandits was usually an easy task, but it was proving difficult this time. They were more like a warrior tribe, trained from childhood to be ferocious killers, and somehow they were resilient to his jutsu. Perhaps they had a trance of chakra potential, not enough to be easy to spot, but just enough to give them a boost to their natural defenses. He had already expended much of his chakra to fight off seven at once. There were still five more, and now they were aware of Tomo's abilities. One of the burly men rushed at Tomo, his arm held back in preparation to punch the Chuunin. Tomo leapt forward as well, hoping to catch the man off guard with a switch to melee offense. However, the man was unfazed, and Tomo was about to take a fist to the face.
However, the tables were turned as the bandit instead received a swift punch from a gloved hand. With the man's attack interrupted, Tomo had the time to electrify his hand, and placed it on the enemy's shoulder. The brute convulsed as Tomo used the guy's body to spring up and over him with a flip. The opponent was thusly lifted into the air with wind, and slammed back to the ground by Tomo's new ally. That ally was Tama. She gave Tomo a cocky grin.
"I got your back bro! We're squadmates after all!" She faced the remaining bandits and slammed her right fist into the open palm of her left hand.
"You hear that?! Mochizuki Tama, star performer of the Mochizuki Troupe and Chuunin of Kumogakure has entered the scene! You mess with my bro, you mess with me! I'm not support cast like him. Being the lead means I always win." She lunged at the foes, and Tomo shook his head.
"So cocky." But despite his words, his lips lightly tugged into a smile. Maybe being in a squad with his twin wouldn't be so bad after all.
