| Name: Moyamaru Clan: Katai Tribe (Unnamed) Character Age: 15 Gender: Male Sex: Male Rank: Genin Height: 5'5'' Weight: 140 Blood Type: O+ Birthdate: Dec. 19th Physical Description: Moyamaru has dark skin, black hair with faded sides with typical cornrows on the top. He has unusual orange pigmented eyes. He wears a specially tailored orange jumpsuit with the sleeves rolled up that is flame resistant and offers some padded protection. He wears black wristbands with the konoha symbol plated on each wrist instead of donning a typical headband. Instead of shinobi sandals he wears equally flame resistant boots and his forearms which are exposed reveal tribal markings running along his skin. Mental Description: Don't question his loyalty to the village, because it is absolute. However that it not the same mentality he has when it comes to his day to day reactions. He is a pyromaniac and while he does whatever the leadership of the village tells him, this butts heads with his pyromania which is his impulse to set things afire. Even this is contained in irony because Moyamaru is aloof in the mind when it comes to personal direction and purpose. You can say his inability to focus on personal achievement and growth keeps in check the arsonist within from pursuing larger schemes. |
| Moyamaru was born into the Katai lineage, a people having integrated well into Konoha society which gave him a pretty good basis to stand upon when it came to ingrained loyalty. Though unlike other Katai lines in the other countries and villages, his people never adopted the use of a defining clan name. They instead stuck to a single name given to a child after birth at a naming ceremony which involved revealing the child's aforementioned destiny. Just like everyone born into his tribe, after Moyamaru was born a totem made from a special chakra reactive tree would be presented, the same tree chakra paper came from when shinobi took a chakra nature test. There was only two possible outcomes, either the child was born from the spirit of ash or the spirit of the storm. His totem would glow responding to the gift bestowed upon the child at birth, either born with an innate attraction to fire or lightning depending on chakra. Moyamaru uniquely had glowed a strong red color even going so far as to heat up the totem to the touch and thus like all other katai children his name became a reference to his chakra. Moyamaru was inspired to become a shinobi by stories of his father and growing up, The Fire Hero, a chuunin captain who worked hard protecting the village from fires. He attended the Konoha Shinobi Academy at the age of 10, like most other children. It would be during these years that Moyamaru would discover his knack for fire release as well as his attraction to fire in general. As a fifth generation shinobi, his family by now had created their own style and certain abilities were passed down such as giving him the power to create and utilize his own flames created solely from body heat as well as manipulating fire as easily as one would water in a cup. His physical strength earned him some recognition as the student and while he excelled it became clear that he lacked a key motivation to take the next step. Instead of graduating like normal, Moyamaru was forced to graduate after expending all his time taking courses passed what was required. He was almost fourteen by the time he became a genin thanks to his own lack of cause. As a genin, his main priority has been defending the village from fires just like most of his family. Now while he did go on missions and the like it would be the times where he worked under his father and other within the brigade did most of his abilities began to mature. Enter his first experience with manipulation of fire and also the start of this story. It would be during these life or death lessons at the hands of house fires and the like, that the scale of Moyasmaru's fire release abilities became evident. Not to be confused with a prodigical son, that was his brother, Moyamaru was simply a natural freak in the gene pool. It wasn't that he was just insanely gifted and was a once in a lifetime member of the clan, simply that the intensity of his flames were once in an every so often generation. Born under the banner of the Ash Spirit, Moyamaru's attraction to fire became something equally as unseen and rare. This would all culminate in his bodies specific "awakening" as the more he seemed to relish fire, the stronger his own flames would become and begin manifesting other skills. He began calling himself the "Dragon" of leaf...a self imposed title. |
