Physical Description: Seikou is 4'4" with long black hair. Her father dresses her in bright, feminine clothing in hopes that she will grow into more of a lady than her mother. Her auburn eyes occasionally gleam red when hit by the sun just right. She holds herself like a delicate flower, just as her father has instructed her for years. However, she sometimes falls into bad habits, such as wiping her nose on her sleeve, or playing with her hair while deep in thought.
Personality: Seikou is stuck between a Benevolent and a Nanjirou place. Her father wishes dearly for his daughter to grow up prim and proper, hoping she will follow him into the medical branch where he deems it safer for a little lady. Her mother, on the other hand, would love for Seikou to embrace her Nanjirou heritage and follow the path of a rough and tough warrior. Since her mother is usually away on missions, this has left Seikou alone with her father more often than not, leading her down the feminine path. Following her father's instructions, Seikou tries her best to remain soft-spoken and thoughtful. However, the call to play and rough house is often too strong for her to handle, and she breaks her disposition to become a competitive, feisty girl. Some of the more fragile girls have called Seikou terrifying when she shifts moods. The daddy's girl side of Seiko finds these comments frustrating, while the Nanjirou side finds secret pleasure.
History: Seikou was almost never conceived. Nanjirou Kire refused to birth a child unless said child would inherit the Nanjirou name. At first, her husband was adamant not to place such a burden on their child. Why must they already determine its fate by forcing its heritage upon it from birth? But Morobi Niho had no choice if he wanted to raise a child. His wife was resolute, and saw Niho's reluctance as a challenge to overcome. Thus the man eventually caved, and Seikou was conceived that night. At first the parents were in sync while raising their daughter, as questions of Seikou's future were far in the distance for the babe. But when she reached toddler age, Kire and Niho began to argue. Kire wanted her daughter to grow strong and fierce so that Seikou could one day inherit a weapon from her ancestors. Niho, however, wanted their daughter to make her own choices, while hypocritically urging Seikou to age into a fine young lady. Luckily these arguments were held out of earshot of their daughter, allowing Seikou to grow up believing her parents always got along.
As the years continued, Seikou found herself more in her father's company than her mother's. Kire was away on missions most of the time, while Niho's work kept him in the village at all times. This led to Seikou developing into a daddy's girl, causing her to value her father's opinions and views more than her mother's, not to say she hated her mother. Seikou was proud of her mom's strength and how she could dice up anything in her path. But as a parent, Kire was a bit too distant. So Seikou latched on to her father's desires, trying to become the delicate flower he wanted her to be. But something inside her called for battle. It wasn't a voice, but a feeling which seemed to grow when she looked over the blades that rested in her mother's trophy room. Only time would tell if Seikou heeded the call.
