Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Raian briefly examined the light weight armor in his hands, a rather confused expression being displayed on his face. He had just returned from a weekly patrol and had found new equipment laying on his bed. For what he could tell the armor was slightly heavily than the tradition Mempo equipment they received once shinobi made rank, yet it also seemed to be covered by small seals on the legs and arms. Glancing down on the paperwork next to the armor, he briefly scanned it before his eyes widen slightly. Interesting, the seals seemed to add a small layer of protection from harm as well as boosting the shinobi speed while inside their village. Specifically, it was for dealing with potential threats entering the village, giving a person enough time to response with time to spare. Raian would have to see how well this worked in the field.
1. Duelist

Raian looked the shinobi in front of him, his eyes displaying the feeling of boredom he held for the person in front of him. He been in the local markets shopping for some books, when the man bumped into him and then expected Raian to apologizes. The Nara glanced at the man, noticing the shiny headband and the bravado he carried himself with. Someone who probably just had made rank and felt entitled to respect, puffing his chest out. So…stupid. Raian simply ignored the man the continued walking. Shinobi got made, made a challenge and here he was in the coliseum, bored and without any books. The man swagger was becoming annoying, and he continued to talk about something unrelated. So Raian did the reasonable thing…he knocked him out. See Raian, did need to boost about how strong he was, how many missions he had completed. He just did them, not in the belief that he was unbeatable, but that each encounter was something that he would surpass. Looking at the man he signed, grabbing the unconscious shinobi and walking towards the hospital. Perhaps he should have paid more attention to his opponent getting closer than running his mouth.

2. Fearless

Having a mother who was in kind words, a taijutsu monsters, made Raian rather desensitized to a lot of things from any early age. Having someone who had lived through war and seen the worse of people constantly focusing that killing intent in training made the young Nara rather unafraid. Though that could also be the Nara in him, using knowledge to explain the notion of what fear was, and how to ignore it. Raian knew what he was getting into early on when he asked to be a shinobi and what times of people and things he would experience one day. It made little sense to be afraid of something once you realized it was simply your body way of seeing if you would flee or fight. Raian chose to fight.

3.Human Anatomy

During his prep time prior to his Chimera surgery. Raian had begun spending months of understanding the human body. Incorporating a foreign bloodline into his system would have extreme negative effects in spiritual and physical condition and he need to prepare himself for the physical potion. This would also help in field operations, understanding how to body worked allowed him a firmer control on how much he could push himself before causing some damage. If a target need to be captured, he could quickly incapacitate them or make an injury look worse than it truly was. He devoured this knowledge, starting from upper anatomy to lower. Small papers would cover his floors detailing specific points to cause distraction on an enemy to points of press that would become lethal. The research even gave him notes on how to structure if training regimen to keep his body health enough for the surgery, something that would end up saving his life the first time he practiced. This study was going to prove quite interesting.

4.Healing Factor

The first few weeks after the surgery, Raian had noticed something a bit off with his body. He seemed to have much more stamina during training, being able to rest for a few minutes before seeming unaffected and ready to go. He also noticed that some of his injuries seemed to fade away quickly, scars turning white before fading away in the morning. It was an odd change; his body’s strain had seemed to relax somewhat and it was becoming hard to rest without burning off all this excess energy. If it was an accidental side effect for the surgery, it was a welcomed one. But he should probably just go in for a check up to be safe.

5. Initiative

Raian looked the practice dummy in front of him, the study things quite a distance way as he prepared himself. A single yen coin was held in his left palm, the Nara flipping it slightly in the air before catching it. He waited a few moments before flipping it again, his muscle complete relaxed as the join spin in the air before falling. Before reaching his left palm, his right hand strike out, lighting chakra sparking out of his palm and striking the wooden dummy. Catching the coin, he frowned slightly. It appears his reaction time was a bit faster than he remembered, he hadn’t even tested using the second bloodline to modify if perception of time. He had been practicing with a fellow Mempo and had noticed he had been able to hit the other shinobi a few seconds quicker, causing some of his movement to get messed up. This second test verified that he was reaction a been faster, and it was going to become a problem. Catching someone of guard due to the speed was great, but it had to train it so that it would work for him. Being surprised himself at his own reaction wasn’t going to do anything for him. Signing, he flipped the coin once more preparing to practice until it got this down correctly.

6. Bloody Mess

Raian blinked in surprise at the injured bear, the amount of blood that seemed to pouring out if much more than should be possible for the small cut he had made. He had been trying in the forest, when the bear had begun charging at him. Not wanting to kill the creature for what he assumed was protecting it den, he attempted to made a small cut on a none vital area, nothing major, but enough to turn the bear away. He had been practicing with wind chakra prior to the encounter, and had use a small burst to scare off the animal. With the amount of blood leaving the creature, the small cut made it seemed like he targeted and artery. Signing, he let the green medical chakra cover his hand as he began walking towards the injured animal. Looks like he was going to have to figure out what was wrong his jutsu…again.

7. Sixth Sense

Walking home, Raian felt something off about the path he was taking back to base. It was an odd feeling, almost like cold water hitting his back, making the Nara rather alert and causing him to stop in the middle of the street. Typically, it took him an hour to get to base, taking certain precautions before taking a hidden entrance descending downwards to the ANBU base. Not only did it seem longer, but it felt like some of stones were out of place. Realizing what was happening, he allows chakra to flow through him. The path began shifting turning into a much different street than what he was one on originally. A single mask operator was in front of him, a notepad in hand as the ANBU member nod to him and vanished from sight. Frowning at almost failing a test he didn’t enough know he was taking part him, Raian turned the other way, shaking his head as he attempted to find what location he was out. It looked like he previous routes were going to have to be changed and his guard continuously up until he was back to base. The Nara didn’t feel like having another hour of his time wasted on the wrong direction again.
