Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

You don't need to give the specific damage, just whether you have increased it or decreased it by the % and accuracy. These values are important as they contribute to your other taijutsu attacks.
 
Rather than doing four 100 word RP’s to activate these abilities, I’d prefer to do one 400 word RP.

RP:
The night was black, without a moon; the air was thick and still. The chill of autumn clung to the damp cobblestones and brick-faced buildings of Kumo. A heavy air of silence filled the streets, suffocating the light from the streetlamps. Even the footsteps of the lone pedestrian seemed muffled into silence; odd, since the steel-toed boots he was wearing usually made his steps seem loud. Narashi Jo was so normal-looking that he honestly could have blended into the landscape and disappeared. His jeans, t-shirt and jacket attire making him no more special than anyone else. The only thing missing from his attire was his Kumo headband, removed so that the bandanna the metal plate was attached to could be washed.

Jo couldn’t sleep. This was the third night in a row that he’d woken up in a cold sweat with the memories of those he’d killed haunting his dreams. He hoped a brisk walk around town would bet him too tired to dream so he could lay down for a couple of hours and not see red death when he closed his eyes (though, if training all day didn’t make him tired enough, why would a relaxing stroll?). He turned down a narrow alleyway unthinkingly, walking the old haunts of his youth in autopilot-mode.

He felt the blow coming before he could see or hear it. He raised his arms as he spun around, shielding his head from the swing of a lead pipe (Block: MR). He reacted swiftly without hesitation or conscious thought, his actions prepared ahead of time through muscle-memory acquired by years of training. He kicked out at the thugs genitals, his steel-toed boots making a sickeningly wet thud as it crushed his assailants manhood (Uncalled-For-Shot: MR). Jo’s left leg retracted quickly and shot out again, targeting the thugs left knee and striking true; the thugs leg buckled beneath him as tendons and ligaments tore, and bone snapped (Low Sweep: MR). Jo’s assault continued as he pummeled the mans face with two quick punches, left then right, knocking out teeth and shattering his nose (The One-Two: MR). In less than a couple of seconds the man fell to the ground, the attacker now the victim.

Jo stood rooted to the spot for what felt like a lifetime staring at the still figure. He was probably only a year or two older than the Genin, and looked ragged in filthy and torn clothing. Nausea welled up in the boys throat as the adrenaline from the failed ambush started to fade. He swallowed back the bile and closed his eyes, breathing deeply the cool, damp night air. ”Thank Raiden…” He said finally, a breath of relief escaping his lips. Ever since the Shoguns Nameday Ball, Jo had been afraid that if he was faced with a life-or-death situation again, he’d buckle under the pressure and put his team in jeopardy. Something had welled up in him that night in the alley, a deeper instinct to survive; and he knew, even if he was torn and broken by battle, that instinct would make him fight all the harder.

Jo turned and continued his journey home, stuffing his blood-soaked knuckles into his pockets. He had half a mind to call in the attempted mugging (or so he assumed), but thought better of it. The boy had taken his licks, and that should be lesson enough.

Atomics. The word had stuck with Jo ever since he had returned from that S-Ranked mission in Marsh. Now, here in the darkest recesses of the Bibliotheca Conscientiae, Jo had gathered the few dusty tomes on the subject along with all the materials he could find on the subject of Radioactive Jutsu. Scrolls, leather-bound books, and candle stubs littered the table at the back of the library as Jo poured over the knowledge within. To an innocent passer-by, he’d look a mess; hair disheveled, coffee-stained clothing, dark circles under his eyes betraying his lack of sleep. If they got closer, they’d be even more convinced of his madness. He muttered each word he read under his breath, repeating each line verbatim as he scrawled on a piece of parchment. Should the passer-by glance at the paper, they might leave to find some psychiatric assistance for the boy. Rather than words scratched on the paper, the entire page was black with ink. He hadn’t changed the page he was writing on since he started, he didn’t need to. So long as he read the words, spoke them aloud, and wrote them down, they would be permanently burned into his mind. He had no need for legible notes.

If the innocent passer-by ever returned with the help they sought for the apparently deranged young man, they would find him gone; the books re-shelved, the ruined quill and parchment in a nearby waste bin. They wouldn’t find the boy in the library, they wouldn’t find him at home asleep (though he desperately needed it). If they searched long and hard enough, they’d find him at the Academy training grounds. The jutsu he was using burned hotter than fire, and deeper than lightning, charring the training dummies from the inside out. Finally satisfied with his understanding of Radiation Jutsu, Jo finally allowed himself to stumble home and sleep.

Something was wrong… well, maybe not wrong, but definitely different. Standing in his bathroom, naked and dripping from the shower, Jo stared at his reflection in the steamy mirror; wiping away the condensed water. The cut above his ear from Tenouza he had received a couple of days earlier had healed completely, and there wasn’t even a scar to show for it. The rest of the scars on his face seemed to be fading as well. The demon within chuckled at the young mans confusion.

”What? You didn’t think I would allow my vessel to run around all injured and disfigured, did you? If you get hurt, I will do my best to heal you. If you are disfigured, I will make you whole. If you are afraid, I will steel your resolve.”

’I have nothing to fear but fear itself.’

”Fufufu… of course not. You know this, I know this; but you can’t deny the feeling you get in your gut when you hear bolts pass by inches from your head, or the tingling in your groin and flutter of your heart when you see your mate.”

’Hey! I told you to stay away from Saeko!’

’And I told you; we’re connected. I can retreat to the farthest corners of your mind, but I still feel what you feel, see what you see. It might be lessened, but it’s still there. I can’t help that. I’ll do what I can to help you, but in return you must be willing to accept the fact that I’m here, and I’m here to stay.’<i></i>
