Blundering forward, a massive bundled figure traverses the chill plains of Kaminari no Kuni in search of Kumogakure. Fortunately, various nomads had offered to trade layers of clothing for the few items left in the possession of the former Medical Sennin and MIkasa found herself more than thrilled to barter to increase her survival rate. Alternatively, she had become far too bulky and stuck out, nearly waddling towards her destination in a semi-mobile home package of warmth; the maidens features completely veiled.
Concerning how the woman had managed to descent from the Monumentum Deo was difficult to describe, numerous mishaps had occurred to the point to where she met dead ends with large distances between fragments of land. Multiple loose patches of snowdrift had nearly claimed her life, potentially sending her tumbling downwards into a deathly hollow of icicles and obscurity. Abrupt violent zephyrs threatened similar consequences, thus her journey took far more time than she initially allotted to herself to traverse.
Never the the least, the maiden had successfully arrived at her destination, although the definition of success in Mikasa's circumstance was debatable. Waddling through the Dragon Tooth Pass, her tundra orbs shimmer in awe, the impassable rock formations told an abundance of information pertaining to the iron clad defense of the village; only a fool would attempt to scale the walls with the numerous visible outposts - along with the unknown quantity of hidden. Luckily the thoughts wouldn't linger as she sheds a few layers, folding them neatly on the path before her prior to placing them into her roughed up baggage.
The kunoichi's platinum mane is exposed to the environment, her attire still considerably warm, and she reluctantly placed away her temporary Hokage hat, managing to squeeze it into the backpack she carried. A crimson scarf wraps around her neck, covering her lips, would be the most noticeable item as she waits for the gate procedures that she assumed were similar across all the major villages. "The cold never bothered me anyway.."

It was a cold day in Kumogakure, but not like how it normally was. Then again, Kumogakure was never not cold, though maybe Kiri simply found that there were certain days that felt like the gods were out to freeze him to death. Today was one of them, and one way to remedy this was to head to the gates. Strangely enough, there was a variable discrepancy of weather between the village central and the gates. Even two degrees was enough to make Kiri comfortable. But to say the entire reason for his presence in the gates was due to the finding a place to be more comfortable was lie. As usual, he did his medical rounds, and he was just about to scout for information of the outside towns and Port Cirrus before he would be leaving for his usual medical missions when he had stumbled upon a sight.
