Safety wasn’t my concern. I didn’t come here because I needed to lay low or anything like that. No, I was here on business. I finally earned my stripes if you will, Anbu in training to full fledge Anbu. This meant more responsibilities. Some more subsidiary than others but what the heck. Speaking of subsidiary, I was to finally meet the head hancho or his/her mini me. I guess this was what they called orientation. I’m not going to lie, when I was given the rank of Anbu and that I was to report here for an important meet and greet, I was filled with a bundle of mixed emotions... mostly anxiety. Everything right now is brand new. This place, this meeting, what’s next, all a mystery. Hell, I hadn’t the slightest clue if this would be a private greeting or a mass greeting of all newly pledged Anbu. I’ve heard different stories on how these things go. Hell, one Anbu pledge four years prior to his first orientation. The only thing consistent was that every pledged Anbu received orientation at some point or so that’s the word on Anbu news network... ANN. I found myself in an open room big enough for a towns hall meeting. It was dark but I was sure I was in the right spot. Empty from the looks but I knew better. So... I did the only thing reasonable.
“Ahm... Hello?”
