Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Hello Ninpocho, we have a few updates happening this month. Lots of rewording or clarity, with update of EMS, and unfortunately Hakumei/Byakugan Transplant is going away, as it was mostly folded into Hyuuga.

  • All Hakumei/Byakugan Transplant and Hyuuga are given a free OCR, or capability of changing anything within their existing character, during this time. This must be started (it doesn't need to be completed) during this two week period, from 21th of December 2020 to the 4rd of January 2021.
  • Any WC requirements will be ignored during this downtime; be they abilities, Kinjutsu or BL/CA.
  • Non-Hakumei/Byakugan Transplant or Hyuuga characters may do a free swap into Transcendent Doujutsu or Hyuuga with no WC requirement, but cannot change anything else about their build for free, and must already have a Kinjutsu to do so.
  • Any current EMS users become Transcendent Doujutsu users. Nothing has to be changed.

Kinjutsu
  • Transcendent Doujutsu
    • EMS is replaced with this, and the Hakumei Byakugan has been rolled into it.
    • Unfortunately, this means the Byakugan Implant no longer exists.
  • Chimera
    • Reworded the base ability and Genetic implant to be clearer, and match the new terminology.
Abilities:
  • Willpower
    • Reworded to make it clearer, as well as to match reworded Cancel.
  • Strategist
    • added notes to clarify the AP and CP costs involved in Prep slots.
Techniques:
  • Cancel
    • Reworded the way the technique works.
  • Verse of Darkness
    • Removed the fluff out of the mechanics, so it is clearer how it works.
  • Delayed Agony
    • This was technically allowing you to bind someone and still damage them without it breaking, it now cannot.
Augments:
  • Explosive Seal
    • Has had a limit applied to prevent shenanigans. (Credit to Besom for pointing out said shenanigans)
Misc Changes:
  • UBR Changes
    • Terminology definitions for most of the mechanics in the system.
    • Advanced Elements now only count as themselves and the major element, not the minor.
    • Genjutsu will not longer be listed as a hidden action, they show up in mods as "Shinobi Bob used a Genjutsu"
Contracts:
  • Tsukumogami
    • Updated wording on Soul Regalia to be a +1 bonus to either wielder or caster.

Bloodlines
  • Hyuuga
    • Updated to have Hakumei Byakugan ranks on the final jutsu.
    • Byukagan no longer costs AP, only AP timing
  • Uchiha
    • Sharigan no longer costs AP, only AP timing.
  • Kaguya
    • Dead Bone Pulse no longer costs AP, only AP timing.
