Physical Description: Kouza has white hair and moderate features. He has become keen on wearing layered clothing, being that he could be found usually wearing a large coat and scarf. Seldom now would you catch Kouza without his respirator mask covering his face and when you do, you are able to clearly notice dark markings around his eyes. Having no longer adopted the use of wearing shinobi sandles, Kouza instead wears combat style boots which have treaded soles. While it would be difficult to discern, he does carry an equipment pouch which is easily accessible to him from inside his coat, which is attached to his waistline. No longer carrying his large sword, Kouza instead has a summoning formula marked along the underside of both palms which can be used to quickly call upon his weapon. Though sometimes he still decides to carry it around in person.
Mental Description: Kouza despite being born to two sadistic parents does not display any traits of his parents mentalities. More than likely due to being left at a young age, Kouza did develop a dependent attachment to Yoshi a close friend. He subconsciously relies on Yoshi's dreams and latches himself to Yoshi like a leech. Other than this Kouza displays an easily irritated nature to most things which has caused him to be coined as a grouch. He hides this very well however and can be equally seen enjoying things though this is rarer if he is not in the company of Yoshi. As he has grown more parts of Kouza's personality have started to bloom be it for the good or bad. Particularly is the developing understanding of how the world works which coupled with a reoccuring plague of mental contesting of his own thoughts has made him slightly more paranoid of other's purposes.
History: Kouza had lived most of his childhood travelling and rarely sticking around in one location. The lifestyle of a nomad was all he'd ever known, because his homeland was now under and covered by thick uninhabitable ice. Born to two mist shinobi each with questionable character flaws, Kouza found himself easily befriending Yoshi, another boy who travelled with the group. This was because Kouza was left with the group by his parents who he has had no contact with since. The group moved around a lot, never staying in one place for long until they got to Iwagakure. It was there he began studying ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu which for a time seemed as it would become a new home. He unlike Yoshi did not meld well into the social aspect of the village, having found most of their sentiments to be irritating.
While he was a youth without ambition, from an even younger age had Kouza developed a sort of dependency on Yoshi's friendship. This much was to the extent that although he had no aspirations for becoming a shinobi despite having some training, Kouza followed Yoshi even into the exchange program. Seeing it as the only way he would remain close to Yoshi, Kouza took no time making the decision to follow his friend to the gates of leaf to aid his dream.
So with that group of Former Mist Shinobi, Masa who was Yoshi's mother would guide them to the gates of Konoha, to which they were greeted just like many of the Iwagakurians. And he was immediately accepted into the program of the Konoha Academy which was now being placed under construction but there were still classes to be had. While he was sure Yoshi was excited about all this, Kouza still retained his general disinterest.
