Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Insight II:
Ikkadan, holding a kunai as he prowled the rocky dune of the Chamerus Cavern with his gas mask firmly placed against his face, set his chocolate hues on a creature that looked similar to a large beetle. He was quiet, gently as he moved along with the shadows but even that wasn't enough - these creatures that dwelled in the darkness were accustomed to the shadows, they were both comrades in battle. The boy, hungry for success, would observe the creature, picking up on its habits and movements, watching it feed on other smaller insects and also observing it scurrying away from larger prey. He would deduct from his observation that the larger (ish) beetle was not a fighter; in fact, it preyed on smaller insects that did not have any offensive abilities. This creature was going to be easy to kill, somewhat tricky to catch for a normal citizen.

Sixth Sense:
Being a member of a unique family of bloodline holders, which can manipulate and create wood, are all somewhat sensitive to natural life energies. And it's because of this trait that these members are fairly adept at picking up on hidden presences that surround them, e.g a stealthily masked foe. Ikkadan would sit, cross-legged, with a look of concentration upon his olive face and as three students hoped around them as he sat within the training grounds of the Sunan Academy. They hid behind stands, used some basic techniques and what not but all were sensible to a person sensitive to life energy. Ikkadan would mumble, pointing out several points of locations that he believed the children hid in, and of course, he was correct. However this was a technique that needed to be refined as there were much stronger opponents that could suppress their energies to the point of being invisible.

Jutsu Mastry:
Perched upon a large flag pole, Ikkadan waved downwards at another shinobi whom was sparing with him on this fruitful day. The shinobi and Ikka both looked somewhat exhausted, battered and bruised with bloody smears on their clothes and face. Without wasting much time, Ikka pushed from the flag pole and dropped down onto the shinobi, whom drew his blade and held it upwards, and to which Ikka met his blade with his kunai; they both remained stationary for a moment as the sparks flew from their clashing weapons. Promptly pushing his foot against the other shinobi's face, Ikka performed a backflip and made some distance between the two. The boy would brush through a few seals, slamming his fist against the ground. The ground, or rather sandy surface, fell silent for a few moments until a low rumble could be felt through the vibrations.

Shortly after, roots would sprout up from the dried mineral bedrock, latching upon the shinobi and holding him down with an impressive force. The roots, embedded with thorns, twisted against the man's flesh; tearing him up softly, and not-so-gently. Ikkadan, after having been successful at binding his foe, charged forward now with a formed paper Fuuma shuriken in his hand. The large loop in the shuriken allowed for the boy to hold his hand against the metal of the weapon freely. Ikkadan would then, on approach, slash, as softly as possible, against the other shinobi's face before performing another paper technique that would cover his entire body lightly in the material.

Ikkadan would then brush through another series of seals, before inhaling a deep, sweaty breath and then exhaling with a determined and yet strained looked upon his face. From his mouth, a formation of a mist-like substance excreted awkwardly in the shape of a fist; which grew in size as it traveled towards the bonded shinobi. Well, you can guess what happened next...?

Ikkadan, usually, could use three advanced elements. A feat most would call 'Jutsu Mastery'.

Quick Healer & Thick Blood:
After being profusely beaten and battered by forces to much more devious than his own, the boy has built up an tolerance to pain. And due to his most recent battle with a woman named Itami, Ikkadan has lost a few of his nerves; which means that he has lost some sensation within his body. But that's not what makes this boy different, what makes him different was that his body began to react and change, enabling himself to recovery much more quickly than most people due to the trauma that he has received over the years. It's not a pleasant ability, and not one you would aim to stumble across, well not unless you really liked the sensation of pain and physical torment. Not knowing when to give up Ikkadan kept pushing his body through the threshold of what the 'limit' on pain truly was. However, this ability, these abilities, have left his body battered and scarred from head-to-toe and now his youth has been forever lost in the eternal torment of his scars, which will always be a physical reminder of his battles, failures and of all his near-victories. A normal, well almost, boy caught up in a world that uses violence and hate in its everyday life.

Acrobatics II:
Ikkadan spent many days training, attempting to stimulate growth within his body, and he could only achieve that through physically training his body. The student training courses at the Sunan Academy offered almost no-help to a man of his level, they were only basic after all. So, instead Ikkadan would travel to the Chamerus Cavern and purposely get caught by a nest of creatures. These beings were always very territorial and aggressive if anyone intruded on their nesting grounds, or even feeding grounds, but that was just an incentive for the boy. Although this method of training had really given the boy some battle-wounds to add to his list of scars, not a really literate way to put it but hey-ho. The near-death experiences from these hostile creatures really did help the boy get a sense that his life was too fragile, if he didn't know that enough, but yes, this form of training really did allow growth in his Acrobatic training...

I bet it'll come in handy.

Human Anatomy:
Kinnaku is the Medical Sennin, and therefore retains a great mastery over the human body and thus is marked as a professional in her profession. The woman has advanced through the stages of her career and molded herself in a highly knowledgeable woman, med-nin and leader of the medical practice. Having well over 20 years of medical knowledge, some may call her promotion naive, but others would praise her relatively youthful mind for retaining such an advanced and expansive knowledge of the human body; which she exposed through many years of studying the human body through her patients, rather than journals or books.

Additionally, I'd like to add that above 'Human Anatomy' the remaining abilities were written out for Ikkadan, I was waiting on them getting approved. SO I'm keeping them there as Oba would be receiving the same Abilities too!

Elemental Affinities:
Major: Earth + Minor: Lightning = Paper

Abilities and major/minor affinities approved! However, AE require a 300 word RP, so get to it! :3

Paper Element:

Oh how this woman had hated anything related to her paperwork, and yet, it was a funny ordeal to have ones affinity to be atunned to that of paper. Kinnaku hadn't quite understood the odd dealings of a shifty black jack dealer, but really, who was she to complain? Slummed upon her throne, an overly comfortable black, leather office chair; the woman fiddled the tip of her finger against the oak of her desk. She narrowed her dark hues, inching forward as she achingly placed a finger, then two, then three, upon a single sheet of paper.

The woman, having just the day before - unwittingly - set upon herself a cyclone of paper. She thought at first that this manifestation was something comical, something similar to a cartoon, but no: Oba's swipe of her desk table, which knocked over the series of documents, had somehow created an endowment of power. Silly, eh? And yes, this burst of power had messed up her entire office - something that greatly angered her, purely because she would have to reorganize all the damn paperwork.

Bloody paperwork...

Anyway, on to the topic of seriousness, the Sennin had unwittingly stumbled across a special, unique trait that not every shinobi had within. However, the world was vast and unforgiving to once ignorance, a blissful unawareness that they were unique, but luckily this woman was an experienced shinobi and had heard rumors of different types of elemental affinities. Although some just seemed magical, *cough* Crystal *cough*, but yes. For days, weeks and even months, this woman honed the paper to manifest, to manipulate and to exploit the material she hated the most: paperwork.

Paperwork was her arch enemy, a comical enemy, but an enemy none the less. However, she was now atuned with her mortal enemy. Which in itself is quite unlucky. Oh well, it's a good thing she is a med-nin; so many paper cuts...

I apologize, I detest these things and thus my RP sucked monkey b*lls.

Poison Mastery:
Kinnaku had spent many years working upon the battlefield, and thus, she encountered a great many poisons that infected those under he care. She was introduced to a world of dirty warfare, but a method of attack that was undeniable strong and exceedingly hard to handle. And because of this, the Sennin had spent a fairly lengthy period of her career studying poisons and their effects on the body, often employing her strategies on her own enemies, if she ever encountered any on a mission. Often, you would find Kinnaku employing her time working on inventing new types of poison, even different variations of Mustard Gases and other inhaled types. And thus, the Sennin had combined her unique Bloodline with a battlefield ethic of poison usage, and allowed the natural instincts of her Kikai to take control; whom would administer a poisonous gas as soon as the Kikai clones exploded.
