Shin was standing with his sister Kohana at the Chikamatsu Arboretum. The sun was coming up and over the far off dunes of the Land of Wind. He looked over to his sister with a smile on his face. "Onesan, I will be back, I am going to the Academy to have a one on one with a student who is showing some great promise."<i></i> Her brow was furrowed and her arms were crossed. "As long as you realize that I won't be there to protect your sorry ass, I don't care."<i></i> She flipped her long golden hair as she walked back inside in a heft, but Shin could feel her worry. He knew that she would still be with him as their minds were still connected even though she now had a physical vessel to dwell within. The two souls were tied and tethered together as they had dwelled within the same body for over twenty years. The two souls have merged to be two sides of the same coin. Though their coexistence may not be perfected quite yet they were starting to truly get along and care for one another.
As Shin made his way to the academy warm and welcoming memories of different students came to mind. His ghostly blue eyes looked around the town as he could see that not much changed in his absence, and that the essence of the city was still the same. His short golden hair almost glowed as the soft light of the morning sun began to creep through the gaps in the buildings. Today he was wearing his adventuring gear as he was taking this student just outside of the village gates to get a better understanding of what this student was capable of without the repercussion of breaking Academy grounds. His top was a looser antique white button up that was pressed tightly against his torso thanks to his light carob colored vest. This leather vest has fastened by golden buckles latched tightly. His slacks were also of a deeper tan color but closer to that of a walnut shade. His worn mocha boots stretched up his calves slight filigree that has been almost faded out of sight. On his hip rested the hilt of a blade which held a special place in his heart.
As he approached the Academy he would leave a note for the student on the assigned classroom's board to meet him just outside of the gate in the secondary training facility, and with that Shin would await for his student to arrive at the given location. The location itself was beautiful. There was a sandstone slab that was clear of excess granules of sand that was the size of the Academy's gymnasium. Off to the side was a series of caves where the Undersea was connected to so the smell of water often wafted up and out from the underground reservoir. The village was probably a kilometer away but due to the heat the walls of the village seemed to dance within the optic diffusing rays of light. Shin however should be clear as day. His chakra signature was distinct thanks to the Yurei Orchid which granted him strength that could rival the legendary Rikudo Senin. His argon blue eyes shined through the haze and his energy was felt similar to the feeling of being around ghostly spirits. There he stood awaiting his pupil.
