With his body now healed, came training but much to his horror, unlike the last time, It now came with...some concessions he had not been expecting. Unlike the previous times where It just him and Sunako, his fiance, Shizu had invented herself under the pretexts of "supervising" his training in the hopes the previous event wouldn't occur but in reality, he knew that was just a excuse. For what exactly? He wasn't initially sure, due to her duo natures, that being a combination of a over protective mother and as a warrior, but as soon as they had made it to the Ooku Training Grounds, she made it abundantly clear she wished to train under Sunako as to better herself, to better hone her skills as a warrior, no doubt so she could fulfill her future role as both the next Matriarch of their clan as well as his ally in battle. It was no secret either that she considered it a boon that she could spend time with him, something that was becoming much more of a rarity due to her increased training in all things that were required with running a clan, especially as the head wife of the future Daimyo. As such, Shizu being Shizu, she would take any opportunity so they could to be together, even If It was only training, though that didn't mean she didn't take training seriously either. If anything, she often took it far more seriously than ever he did, where as he could get a little headstrong or overly enthusiastic. Regardless, Sunako, being his loyal Kishi, had no choice in the matter but accept her into their little training sessions, even If It meant she had to play favorites, that being Shizu, being the future mother of her lord's children. He wouldn't know It but that would soon become apparent as the two drew their swords and began sparring against her. While she would show mercy no against him, often slamming, punching or throwing his behind into the nearby tree's or even into previously made craters made by one of her attacks, she would simply dodge Shizu's measly attacks or at best, give her a light kick to the back should she leave herself open to attack. By the end of their first session, he already found himself heavily bruised, scratched and even bleeding in several area's but Sunako refused Shizu the honor of healing the man she loved, at least for now. While he remained indifferent to the idea, she herself found herself worried, If not horrified for his well being. It was only in that moment however did the secret finally become revealed, that the man she loved, underwent such gruesome training on a near daily basis. It quickly became apparent to her that such training would break lesser shinobi but If Seto wished to become the warrior he wished to be, he would have no choice but endure and find the conviction he needed to press on. She hated the idea of him fighting against so someone of Sunako's caliber, but deep down, she knew It wasn't in his nature to give up or show cowardice, even when facing down overwhelming odds. Like the Kishi, she wasn't sure If she should be proud or worried.
Nonetheless, the both of them become a little more than puzzled when Sunako turned the tables on them, ordering the lovebirds they would be sparring against one another. By their facial expressions alone, It was clear were both against the idea but surprisingly enough, neither one protested. Rather than complain like spoiled children, both drew their blades from their saya's and turned to face each other. After a few moments of hesitation, Shizu was the first to move. Making a charge towards the boy clad in armor, she unleashed a barrage of horizonal & vertical slashes as soon as she found herself in range, putting Seto on the defensive. Through clever footing, he managed to either dodge or parry most of her strikes but eventually, through the clever usage of her katana, she managed to break his guard and nearly overwhelm him, forcing him to forgo his Odachi and instead, quick drawing his Wakizashi to keep her bay. Through the combination of a barrage and some nicely timed taijutsu, he managed to keep her at bay, though It quickly became apparent to the two that his heart wasn't in it. As soon as Sunako took notice, with her arms crossed and her one amber eye glued to his position, she hollard at him with no mercy.
Sunako
"WHY ARE YOU HESITATING? NO ONE HESITATES ON THE BATTLEFIELD! Those who do die. Remember that."
Hearing the cold, merciless words of his bodyguard, he bite down on his tongue as he stared down his fiancé. He knew she was right but It was Shizu of all people. She was the one person he couldn't lift a finger against and yet, Sunako was asking him to do the impossible. It was a impossibility. He couldn't do it. He wouldn't hurt the girl that he loved, the one that had just spent a entire month tending to his wounds because he was a idiot, a fool even.
Tamashi Seto
"Tck...I know but"
Interrupted by a heavy sigh before he could finish, his crimson eye was unable to look away as his Kishi slammed the palm of her right hand against her forehead. After a few moments of silence that was than followed by another sigh, her amber eyes peeked through the slits in her right hand before finally speaking up in agitated tone.
Sunako
"Stoooop being a idiot....Shizu.....do me a favor and take him down a peg. Show your idiot boyfriend how a true warrior fights."
Returning to her normal posture with her arms crossed and her eyes beaming down the two, the Kishi found herself greeted by a enthusiastic tone from Shizu, much to his dismay.
Tamashi Shizu
"Right. Leave it to me sensei! I'll make sure to give it to him good!"
Having given his bodyguard her response, Shizu turned to face him with her blade drawn. Her eyes beamed with determination, as If she now determined to beat him. His own eyes widen in disbelief, but before his mind could grasp the severity of the situation, his instincts jumped into high gear as his hands moved on their own, rising his blade to immediately meet her own. Like the first time, he found himself immediately on the defensive but unlike that time, she threw herself at him with positively everything she had. With each attack, every parry, every kick, he could feel the intensity behind her movements. He only found himself only more dumbfounded. Was she TRYING To kill him? He didn't know but in his current condition, all he could do to keep her at bay was stay on the defensive and prey she would tire herself out. " DAMMIT SHIZU! STOP TAKING THIS SO SERIOUSLY! COME ON! YOUR NOT HELPING!!!!!" Screaming that to himself within the confines of his own mind, he couldn't believe she was taking this so seriously. Sunako must of REALLY hit one of her "warrior" nerves or something for her to attack him like this. He knew she was very enthusiastic about her training but dammit, this was ridiculous!!!
