Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

History: Every Rikudo Sennin discovers the ability to produce jet black rods from their chakra at some point. It is an inherent ability of the Sage of Six Paths. Each Sage's particular weapon, however, is made entirely unique. Some may appear as heavy blades, while others as long rods. In Onamuji's case, his is a slender double-edged sword, able to be used with speed and precision. As with every Chakra Disruption Blade, this sword not only damages the opponent's body, but their chakra itself.

Onamuji is taking on Supercharge for his added ability, now that he's purchased the Ability Card.
[spoilername="Supercharge"]It was always natural for Muji to know how to control and direct his chakra. Later on, in his teenage years, he discovered that his innate affinity toward chakra itself made him able to direct outside flows of chakra as well as his own. While this gave him the ability to actively absorb the chakra of others and utilize his own with immense efficiency, he soon found that his body used this trait reflexively. When jutsu were cast at him, his chakra pores would prepare themselves by reflex and absorb a small fraction of the elemental force, taking it in as a flower absorbing the sunlight. This harnessed energy was naturally released through Muji's own chakra, strengthening the force of his jutsu with the power of his opponent's, in a way.

Sanmuji, his newest body, is taking the following:
[spoilername="Bloody Mess"]Although it was Muji's consciousness that possessed each of his bodies, each seemed to hold its own instincts and abilities. His Path of Blood seemed to reflect all its previous owner's blood lust onto the Rikudo Sennin. It was as if it's entire existence was created for the sake of spilling blood, and as macabre as that was, it was what made this Path worth possessing. Every direct attack it made, no matter what the nature, seemed likely to draw the precious life force from opponents. Naturally, this gave him a strange new edge in battle, and provided more fuel for the Chigokai's blood thirsty abilities.

<B>[WC: 106][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Acrobatics"]From the Chigokai's performances in the gladiatorial arena within the underground of Kirigakure's forests to its use by the Rikudo Sennin himself, the body was clearly lithe and agile. It's body was tall, slender, and muscular; and its movements were naturally graceful and athletic. The slim frame relied on its quickness and fluid movements to remain efficient and effective in battle, and its acrobatic styling was impressive. Though Muji himself was of a similar build, even he wasn't as graceful as the tall, slim Chigokai's body. A fact that made the form even more useful. After all, what was the point of possessing a new body if it was a mirror image of one you already controlled?

[WC: 117][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Healing Factor"]Along with the Chigokai's constant obsession for blood shed - even his own - came a surprising side effect. The unique body was no stranger to injuries, whether by its opponents or by its own hand in the usage of its darker bloodline jutsu. Though one would attribute this to a negative aspect, the years of open veins and frequent harm made his flesh somewhat of an open door, with less of a concrete shell. With that said, it seemed that this path was more responsive to medical jutsu, and seemed to recover from injuries naturally over time. Considering that the body's more advanced skills required self-inflicted wounds, this made the form more sustainable in the long run.

[WC: 118][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Thick Blood"]As dark as it was, the Chigokai were a clan almost synonymous with the shedding of blood. Blood was their strength, and their life force. Each cut inflicted on them only provided more fuel for their power, and they lived to draw the crimson liquid from their opponents. This was evident in the Chigokai's previous occupation as a gladiator. Though he could've been a noteworthy shinobi with his gifts, he chose a life of nothing other than constant combat and bloodshed. A life of cuts and wounds tempered his frame, however. His body was much more used to blood loss than most. It suffered less from its loss, and seemed to be more resistant to outside attempts to draw blood.

[WC: 120][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Jutsu Mastery"]Although the gladiatorial arena Muji found him in was more of a close combat circuit, it was clear that the Chigokai was more than proficient with jutsu. He had shown that he was able to utilize jutsu with speed and efficiency, as if it was as natural as flexing a muscle. As a Rikudo Sennin and a master of jutsu himself, Muji knew talent when he saw it, and the Chigokai was very exceptional at his usage of jutsu. This was retained in the body after Muji's occupation of it, as it held that instinctive knack for jutsu even after its owner was removed.

[WC: 104][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Combat Instinct"]Everything about the Chigokai screamed "warrior". It was all he did, it was all he wanted to do, and it was all he would ever be likely to do. Bloodshed was his sole reason for existing, and even without hearing his story, Muji knew that this man had only ever known a life of combat. The way he fought and the way he cared little for words made it abundantly clear, and the Chigokai's time in the gladiatorial arena clearly honed his instincts. His actions and attacks were fluid and well-timed, and his movements seemed to flow cleverly with the pace of combat.

[WC: 103][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Tracker"]One of the numerous curious attributes of the Chigokai was his apparent and unnatural awareness of his surroundings. In the arena, he always had the entirety of his surroundings in mind, and seemed to be able to predict where a person was hiding or where their next step would fall. His crimson eyes were fixed and piercing, never letting his target escape him. In another life, Muji figured the Chigokai would've made an excellent ANBU - hunting and eliminating targets of value. He had all the traits of a hunter, from his unwavering eyes to his obsession with killing. Traits that Muji planned to utilize...

Congratulations! It's a man! Noting the arrival of a bouncing new baby body, Jimuji, the Path of Earth.

Applying for his abilities as follows...
[spoilername="Barrier Mastery"]Muji was no stranger to the useful art of barrier jutsu. He was a thinker, after all...a strategist. Barriers, among other things, were generally a tactical tool meant to protect and provide opportunities in battle by either absorbing or negating an opponent's offensive. His new body, the Sunaku, seemed to have a natural knack for utilizing his sand for barriers - even subconsciously at times. Ever the planner, Muji knew this was something to note for future use. Each body had its talents, after all. That was why he took them. This one was beginning to prove its worth, one talent at a time.

[WC: 104][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Elemental Aura"]Though it was easy for Muji to see, given his Rinnegan eyes, some moderate time spent in Jimuji's little Sunaku shoes proved that even without his mystical eyes, people were able to see traces of Jimuji's elemental chakra, emanating as if some sort of visual aura. Given the fact that the sand element seemed to naturally flow through and around his chakra, this made sense to the Rikudo Sennin. His chakra wasn't some storage container to be uncorked or hidden away, it was a part of his existence and it surrounded him, waiting to be molded and manipulated as a force of nature.

[WC: 103][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Tracker"]In line with the Sunaku's previous occupation, Muji soon discovered that the being he now inhabited - along with the menagerie he already possessed - had something like a hunter's sense. He was able to catch signs and feel traces of those he was seeking, through otherwise impossible distances. Though Muji now existed within the body as an extension of his own being, this tracking ability wasn't so much a matter of experience or acquired knowledge as much as a natural instinct within the Sunaku's very body. This was a welcome skill, given that the life of a shinobi had a habit of forcing one to hunt...whatever the prey happened to be.

[WC: 112][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Release Restraint"]One of the many interesting abilities that came along with the Sunaku bloodline was their mastery over the sands. Sand, as it turned out, was an interesting element. It was both solid and liquid. The collection of tiny granules of earth could form hardened barriers, or loosen to act almost like flowing water. This gave them an impressive ability to cover and restrict opponents, whether by changing the terrain beneath their feet or surrounding them in sand and collapsing it to bind or crush them. The Sunaku, it seemed, were natural masters over the art of binding. As such, it gave them a surprising ability to slip out of binds. They knew how the art worked, and they had the means to force an escape, whether naturally or with the aid of their permeating sands to set them free.

[WC: 139][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Concentrated Focus"]One of Muji's easiest traits to adapt to his Sunaku frame was his unwavering ability to stay focused in the heat of battle. No matter what was thrown his way, he seemed able to stay calm and collected, determined only on that which he set his mind to. With that kind of mentality, the vast array of binds and sand jutsu that required concentration on the part of the Sunaku body seemed all the easier to control, given that they thrived on the user's ability to focus their chakra and the element at hand. This body would be a dedicated hunter...a tool to manipulate and trap his opponents.

[WC: 108][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Duelist"]Though it was hard to tell by what little Muji knew of the former owner of his new Sunaku body, the man was apparently fond of hunting single targets. Naturally, he would attack a caravan as easily as he's attack anything else, but with his natural tracking and binding abilities, he was geared far more toward one-on-one situations. When there was a target, his focus seemed intensified beyond normal lengths, and all seemed clear. Whatever this man had been in his past life, he was clearly meant to be a hunter, choosing a target and bringing it down with whatever means necessary...

[WC: 102][/spoilername]

[spoilername="Jutsu Mastery"]While some hunters used spears and nets, this Sunaku was a different kind of hunter altogether. He didn't use man-made tools or weapons to snare his foes or bring them down. He was a child of the sand, and ninjutsu was his calling. Honed through obvious training, the short-haired man was adept at the use of jutsu, and made it his own. The elemental jutsu were his spear and his innate mastery over the sands were his net. This made him all the more deadly, and his knack for jutsu meant that his targets would have a much harder task ahead of them if they intended to outmatch or outrun their pursuer.

[WC: 112][/spoilername]

Gah...I've had drafts upon drafts of this since it was approved. Talk about taking forever to get around to something ;P

Thanks, Kuro! I've got a small laundry list of changes. Sorry, guys. Hopefully, they're easy enough. Nothing major, just a bunch of small additions and changes to reflect stuff already approved.

Updates to RS Paths: Updated to show all five paths, including links to approvals.

Advanced Shop Purchases: Purchased two Major Affinities

Elemental Affinities: Added Wind and NE as Majors, Earth as Minor; two majors from the aforementioned AShop purchased, Earth from mastery of half jutsu. Dropping Plasma, picking up Photon (Wind + Lightning).
[spoilername="Photon"]Onamuji had long been a polarizing figure. He traveled with violent, hateful people in his past, yet was as uninterested as could be when it came to outright murder or violence for the sake of violence. He wasn't a paragon of virtue and light, of course, but he certainly didn't fit in with the more unsavory characters. It was interesting, of course, that he was a master of the elements of shadow - the source of power long attributed to those of evil or dark intent. In his current years, things seemed to change. His tragic murder of his former lover changed him. Now, he held a darker aspect within his heart, not evil but not quite so naive. It was interesting, then, that his mastery over wind and lightning had evolved into something new and powerful. It was called 'photon', or the element of Light. The power of lightning mixed with the grace of wind had given him power over light itself. Now, the Rikudo Sennin held both the figurative powers of Light and Darkness within the palm of his hand...

Some changes!

Advanced Shop Purchases: Purchased Half the Time Card

Elemental Affinities: Dropping Kinesis, taking up Scorch.
[spoilername="Scorch RP"]There was a time in Onamuji's past where he wasn't so concerned with using force to achieve his objectives. He lived in a world of law and measures. Though he was still comfortable with death as a tool, he was in a position that frowned upon destruction and killing, and favored restraint in all things. While this wasn't a wrong manner of thought, Muji knew now that sometimes, restraint meant weakness. He was chakra incarnate, the descendant of the God of Shinobi. The power of the world was made manifest in his mastery of the elements and his jutsu. Knowing that sometimes, a forest needed to burn to be improved, he focused his power over flame and developed a new element...the Scorch element. It was raw, powerful, and destructive. Precisely the weapon he would need to be a cleansing flame the world sorely needed.

Tharrr we go, mateys. If I could get my main FAQ post updated with my new info, that'd be awesome, too. Mainly the ones spoilered above and this FAQ update itself, just to keep it up to date. Don't want to go into battle and get smacked for my info not being consistent :p

I appreciate it!

Obtained Lunar Seal [Rank 1] in this post. Sacrificed training in this post. Need that little guy added to my FAQ, as well, pretty please.

Also also, holy eff, I just noticed a long overdue update to my Class HP/CP mods. I think I still retained an old +5 to CP mod rather than the +5 to both HP and CP from Veteran Grade status. If possible, I'd like to update that to:
Code:
[u]The Lost Kami[/u]
[b]HP:[/b] (50+15lvl) x 600 = 36,000
[b]CP:[/b] [(50+15lvl) +4] x 600 = 41,400
Class Bonus: Kinjutsu, +5% Ninjutsu Damage
[i]High:[/i] Ninjutsu Accuracy
[i]Average:[/i] Genjutsu Save, Genjutsu DC, Evasion
[i]Low:[/i] Melee Accuracy, Ranged Accuracy

To explain the change: I had a total of 90 Pts (One High, Two Low), and +5 to CP Mod from Veteran. In reality, I should've had +5 to both HP and CP, but I left the +5 to HP out. This corrects that discrepency. If I need to sacrifice a week of training, I will, but since it's not really a change, just a fix, I'm kiiinda hoping I don't fall under the category for a sacrifice. Either way, though. I didn't catch it until now, so...my fault.
