Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Roleplays:
Onamuji wandered the streets of the main islands, only half-heartedly taking in the sights he had been so fervently wanting to see. It was a beautiful, thriving place...definitely a contrast to the dark, dramatic underground village that Sunagakure was. It was so...light here. Real light, not chakra-infused artificial light. As much as he respected and enjoyed the desert he had come from, there was a subtle beauty about Kirigakure that stood in stark contrast to the harsh, violent beauty of Sunagakure.

Yet...he was having a hard time enjoying it. Muji had such grand plans, yet there were so many roadblocks now. Saemon was left behind in Sunagakure, and while they never really achieved a sense of brotherhood in all their time together, his absence made the Rikudo Sennin realize how much he liked the man. They were two opposites, yet the respect between the two was concrete. With him gone, Muji felt a strange feeling of solitude as Koho's sole bodyguard in Kirigakure.

And beyond that, Koho was growing beyond his control. She was willful, and such was part of her strength, but she was being less subtle than he would've liked. In all his power, they had their limits. And coming here, to Kirigakure with only the Rikudo Sennin to protect them, was taking a large gamble. There was a lot he wanted to accomplish yet, and her goals intertwined with his. Though he wouldn't say it, it was the reason he remained as her bodyguard. Well...that and the more physical aspect of their partnership, but that only held so much novelty when tested; and he could only act subservient to so many lengths.

A sigh escaped his lips as he leaned over a rail and looked out over the waters beyond the edge of the island. What did fate have in store for him now? How would this little act play out?

Onamuji handed the yen to the shopkeeper, thinking nothing of it. He wasn't a rich man by any means. What little yen he kept saved was all he had. No land, no treasures, no...anything, really, save for what he carried on him and the robes he wore. The Makeoshimi paid him graciously enough, for what a dying empire could, but he cared little for the coin. As a Sage of Six Paths, money wasn't much of a concern for him.

The topic of their little mid-shopping conversation was, however.

"I understand the situation quite well," the sage replied plainly, "I understand it enough to realize that there is nothing more I can do here. The Sennin and the Jashinist have their own designs, and Koho is now a part of them by her own volition. There are times when, no matter how powerful a person is, they need to realize that sometimes, doing less is doing more. This is one of those times for me. As you said, they won't kill Koho. They both want her. In all likelihood, she's safer here than on the road. After all, we don't know how many potential enemies might be looking for us."

Looking once more to Sadako, Muji noted, "I don't need you to babysit her, per se, or fight anyone. Just...pay attention and stay out of trouble. Or...well, try your best to stay out of any conspicuous trouble. For both our sakes. We...I...don't need a pair of hands here, just eyes and ears. I'll be in touch, needless to say. Whether by paid messenger or by other means, I won't be incommunicado for long. And I'll be relying on you for news until I'm able to return."

The auburn-haired Rikudo Sennin reached over and pulled at the fabric of the shirt on her chest, adding with a wry grin, "Consider it repayment for buying your outfit."

Sadako was just as chaotic as Koho. Obviously, they were kin. Whether she would go along with his suggestion or not, he had no idea, nor was he really anchored one way or the other on whether or not she would. He simply hoped she might take the time out of her schedule to reply to his messengers, whatever form they took, when he was able to send them...

Onamuji bit his lip as she spoke. She was...oddly straight-forward for one of Koho's siblings. Not that he'd every met another, of course, but still...knowing Koho, Sadako was much different from the Red Lady. Koho had a way of seducing with words and speaking around subjects to get what she wanted, even if it wasn't the most eloquent or flowery of wording. It was part of her charm. Sadako, on the other hand, said what she meant and did so without any wordplay or trickery. Her body was lithe and toned through physical combat. Her numerous scars didn't bother him in the slightest. All things considered, she was very desirable, and he was more set on the idea the more he thought about it.

"Though I'm not away yet," he acknowledged with a wry grin, "Before I leave, perhaps we should share a moment together. It is one of the skills I'll admit to Koho having, and I am surprisingly eager to see how well we do with one another..."

Pointing to one of the many nearby inns, Muji shrugged, saying, "That place seems as good as any to pay for a little peace and quiet. Or...relatively speaking. I don't imagine it to be very peaceful or quiet. What do you say?"

As he awaited her response, the young sage looked her over once more, inspecting her frame and the rush of her chakra. This would be fun...

Muji eyed the boy once more. He was certainly trusting, out by himself and offering to show a stranger around.

"I was hoping to get a decent tour of the village," the auburn-haired sage admitted, "I find this place fascinating, and I intend to see what there is to see before I continue on my path. Lead the way, and I'll follow, Namikaze Shin. It would be an honor."

With a wave of his arm, Onamuji gestured politely for the young man to take the lead. Ever the mindful one, the sage couldn't help but wonder...was this pleasant kid really just bait? An unassuming figure to lead Muji into an ambush? No matter. He was a Rikudo Sennin. Any ambush would be met in kind. Yet this Namikaze Shin didn't seem malevolent in his intentions.

"I am Onamuji. I am formerly of Sunagakure, currently of nowhere in particular. Simply a pilgrim looking to get acquainted with the world, so that I can better protect it," the sage announced, "Most shinobi tend to view someone who leaves their village as a criminal to be killed on sight - a natural threat. I hope you don't view me as such, Namikaze Shin. I assure you, I'm no killer or thief..."

In truth, he understood the laws and why they were in place. Nukenin were traitors to their village, thieves who stole their village's secrets and intended to live outside the order of things - to spread chaos unchecked by things like borders. Muji, however, was quite the opposite. As a Rikudo Sennin, he knew that there were times when the greater good required someone without borders or loyalty to a village. Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning...all elements equally a part of the Rikudo Sennin by nature, and all five shinobi nations parts of a whole. His visit to Fire Country was a part of this belief. The amethyst-eyed shinobi wanted to know the lands, and - with any luck - meet their leaders. His own ancestor was the First Sage, the man who created ninjutsu itself and whose sons gave rise to the shinobi villages. It was fitting that, as a descendent of the First Sage, he would meet the sons and daughters of those who had been Kage before them.

For now, he was more than happy to have some company in the form of the young Shin. It was a nice change from the usual bloodthirsty warriors and homocidal strangers he had been forced to endure...

Taking a deep breath, the sage replied as he followed along the inquisitive boy's path, "Sunagakure is...dim and hot. The people of Sunagakure once lived out in the open, but the city has resided in the hollow cave comprised of a great sand worm - Barnyx - for quite a while. And yes, even underground and out of the sun, it is always hot in Sunagakure. Barring any elemental disasters or outside interference, of course."

With a shrug, Muji added, "Most people are wise enough not to walk in the sand in their bare feet, and those who aren't are usually protected in some shape or form. Some native Sunans have feet as accustomed to the sands as any creature of the sands. We have monsters like the sand worm, enormous and deadlier than any human, and we have common creatures like the various insects and Sunan boars - big reddish pigs with spines. Not a very friendly place to visit, unfortunately. Even the lesser beasts of the deserts are relatively dangerous."

And with that, they soon came to a halt at the precipice where Shin wanted to show off the view of the city. It was impressive, to say the least. You could, more or less, see the entire city. It was enlightening for the wandering Rikudo Sennin - exactly what he was hoping for. According to legend, his ancestor had more or less created the world of shinobi, and saved it from destruction. He wasn't concerned with Kiri-nin, Kumo-nin, or whatever else...there were no such things. He served the world and the elements, to bring all into order and peace. In his image, Onamuji couldn't afford to see borders and judge by birthplace. All things were placed on a grand field of balance, and each were equally worthy.

"Impressive view," Muji said aloud, "Thank you for bringing me here."

He left it at that, giving the younger shinobi a pat on the back to show his approval and thanks. The sage appreciated the boy's presence. It was a welcome change to have someone enthusiastic and pleasant, rather than the usual paranoid foreigners. The others he had met along the way would sooner offer a knife in the eye than a cultural exchange...

And the Mystical Force is for my Benevolent path, whose CA works as if it automatically has Med Knowledge. I'm just assuming that it still has to be purchased and trained as Onamuji to apply to his path, but...there's nothing that I can find on how that works, so I might be wrong >.>
