The Village in the Leaves was a busy place, from an aerial view it was easy to imagine that all the bustling streets, and training shinobi would look much like an anthill. The thought made her giggle to herself, she had come to one of the many training areas that dotted the maintained landscape both inside and directly outside the main gates and large walls. Tamiko had come her with a singular goal - to continue her own path towards becoming a superb kunoichi. Not much had happened in her life minus the little monotonies of day to day activity. She had met someone new but the full details of their conversation still weighed heavily on her mind and now wasn't the time to dwell on such things. For now she pulled out a small notebook and opened it to the first page - taking up a small hobby in note taking and managing details. Scribbled onto the page was a checklist of different styles and regiments for training that she had enlisted the help of various Chuunin and Jounin who were willing to take time to share their secrets. Oh! Wait a minute though, silly girl thinking that nothing new was going on. Her right hand tightened around the handle of Mandevilla, a lacquered and enhanced parasol with mechanisms for detachable and reloading blades in the ribs. It had been a gift from her mother for her efforts. Specially contracted from one of the many "battlesmiths" of Konoha who had a knack for developing such tools.
Pausing on the tangent and returning her gaze to the notebook the top of the list was a generalized exercise routine for maintaining and enhancing her physical strength and health, followed by chakra exercises ranging from tree-hanging to water walking. Finally it ended with a basic list of techniques for fighting with bladed weapons - self written notes detailing how to incorporate the uniqueness of her weapon into the form. Finally it detailed little reminders for basic Ninjutsu she picked up from her academy studies and principles from Kohana expanding on her Genjutsu studies. Nodding with self resolve she snapped the notebook shut and placed her bag down before readying herself to begin her training.
