'Walking through a tranquil forest; hear the leaves whistle in the wind; feel the warm touch of the sun shining through the tree top; feel the ease; feel the flows inside you, the one single point that is your soul.'
Tetsumi was meditating on a cushion he had brought to the library. He was getting more used to his new life at the academy and he enjoyed learning all the new things. While he enjoyed all the new and hectic things in his life, he had come to yearn for his once peaceful life at the little village.
It was too late to turn back now, he had made his decision and his motivation had not yet faltered. But he was finding it hard to settle in; luckily he had found peace in his meditations.
He could feel the pressure in his forehead, his soul energy or chakra; he was trying to get it to move around in his body, but his labours hadn’t given him any luck yet. This chakra control was a lot harder than he had anticipated, probably because his friend had told him about it as if it was the easiest thing in the world. He would always sprout: “chakra control is like becoming aware of your surroundings, it just happens. Once you know how it happens you can control it, remember that Chibi-Ojisan”. He had gotten the nickname for always trying to think before doing anything.
Tetsumi was falling out of focus with the thought of his lost friend; his meditation technique allowed for thoughts to be present, but must let them flow and not wander along them. But the memory had too strong a pulling power for him to let it flow away.
A small tear fled his eye. He could feel the warm drop glide down his cheek, reaching his lip and taste the salt. ‘No’ Thought the once Chibi-Ojisan, ‘I have to stay focused, I have done what I could for him; he is in a happy place now and I’m trying to reach his goal’
