Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Core Ability Changes
- Water Absorb (3 pts.), + Aqua Charge (3 pts.)

- Liquid State (2 pts.), - 1 Liquid Efficiency (1 pt.), + Pressurize (3pts.)

- Healing Waters (3pts.), + Tidal Wave (3pts.)

Abilities
+ Healing Factor
One of the greater benefits of being such an accomplished water user is the fat that water, over time, can be used for healing. Since Saki has an secondary internal chakra system, made entirely of water-style chakra, that healing happens passively, over time. Through concentration and a period of months that Saki spent honing this technique, he learned how to keep his subconscience maintaining this healing, so that his body is in a constant state of regeneration. It's come in handy a few times, too. he doesn't have to deal with petty things like paper cuts and stubbed toes swelling up! Too bad it doesn't work on the common cold.
+ Duelist
Everyone has their specialities when it comes to combat. There are puppet users, taijutsu maniacs, genjutsu tricksters... and then there was Saki. He wasn't special or anything, but he for sure wasn't that good in fights involving more than one person. He never seemed to be able to completely focus on more than one person at a time. While this had it's downsides (namely, getting hit by things he probably should have been able to dodge), he's also excelled in one on one combat. His concentration is absolute, so while he doesn't fare well against multiple assailants, he's performs above average when it comes down to the nitty-gritty, rough, headfirst fights.
+ Jutsu Expansion
Have you ever been so dedicated to perfecting Ninjutsu that you went... maybe, too far? Saki did. His love for Ninjutsu will probably be his downfall. He's never been particularly good in taijutsu, and his genjutsu is utterly attrocious. However, his ninjutsu ability is far above par to the point where you could almost say that he has invented his own jutsu. While he's not actually being a Jutsu Creator (that would just be overpowered), he is able to overcharge his known abilities with more chakra than normal to make them significantly more powerful, stronger, and bulkier. The benefits of this are pretty obvious. Or, at least, I think so. I mean come on, if you can kill something with ninjutsu, why not make it even bigger and kill it more?
+ Jutsu Mastery
Being so completely devoted to Water ninjutsu has additional benefits as well, aside from making them bigger or having water heal you without a single thought. Perhaps it comes from the extra reservoir of chakra contained within the young Oshiro's body. Perhaps it was his deire to completely know water chakra and jutsu alike. Perhaps he was just weird. All of these are viable explanations, but the fact of the matter remains the same: abilities and jutsu didn't seem to take as much chakra out of him as they would for other people. When fights went long, and when missions didn't end as soon as expected, Saki was always less tired than his teammates.
+ Deflection
The concept of deflecting and redirecting attacks and incoming projectiles is a technique taught to every shinobi from the first year at the academy onward. To not understand this facet of combat would put one at a significant disadvantage in the face of danger. Countless shinobi over the course of history have been saved by this ability, and an unknowable amount have probably lost their lives from the lack of utilizing this basic principle. Saki keeps this simple tactic well-learned and well-practiced, so that when the day comes where he has to block an incoming fist, or if he has to deflect a knife aimed at his gut, he'll be ready.
+ Water - Chakra Style
The Oshiro clan, being as ancient and well-versed in the Water arts as they were, had an adept knowledge of most, if not all, of the water techniques that were available to a shinobi at any time. This knowledge was written on scrolls, which were then passed down from generation to generation, until Saki and his father owned the vast majority of them, tucked away in the back of their florist shop for lack of a better space. One particular piece of information that Saki learned, through time and practice and the study of a series of seven scrolls, was a particular style of martial arts that enhanced and peaked a user's ability to harness water ninjutsu while fighting. Of course, this was of the utmost importance to Saki. You know, since he was a water user and all. He kinda made it a priority to learn it. It works for him and stuff.
+ Adrenaline Rush
While Saki tended to be a more mellow soul, and not one to go out and do crazy things, that doesn't mean that he didn't get excited, especially in the heat of battle. It's probably just a normal human function to be honest, but Saki got crazy adrenaline rushes when he was in combat. His senses were heightened; his focus would temporarily get much, much sharper, and his head cleared briefly. A fortunate aspect of adrenaline is that it has no negative side effects until after they're done. It's known as the Fight or Flight drug for a reason: it grants immediate, powerful positive effects that can swing the tide of a fight, or allow a swift escape in the event that retreating is the wisest option.

Applying for the Acid affinity
Major affinity: Water
Minor: Lighting (as of this training]
[spoilername="RP for Acid Jutsu"]All was silent.

A thin stream of morning sunlight cut through the overhead canopy of a grove in the thickest portion of the Ancient Forest, where it found its destination on Saki's gentle brown hair. He felt the faint heat from the sun on the top of his head, and, after opening his eyes from a long meditation, saw that several birds had made their peaceful rest on the limbs of trees around him. A smile found itself on his face.

Despite sitting in the same spot for nearly an hour, Saki was not cold, nor was he sleepy; he had spent this entire time gathering his new found lightning-natured chakra around his body and feeling its flow throughout him, focusing it in different sections of his body before moving it all to another. Lightning chakra felt very strange to him. It was much different trying to manipulate, as opposed to the water nature he grew up with. It felt light and energetic, as if the slightest movement of his will would send it beaming into a section of his body faster than he expected. As a result, controlled movement of it was more difficult than his slower, heavier water chakra. Water chakra felt like it sloshed around inside his body; lightning chakra felt like his entire inside was made of mirrors, and the chakra was a laser. Regardless, he had begun to get the hang of it over the last week, especially with the meditation on chakra control that he was having at the time. He became much more intentional about where he was moving and allocating that lightning chakra... but one thing he hadn't tried yet was mixing the two.

In those final minutes before opening his eyes, he has been trying to twist and mix the two different types, however he fount that they did not seemingly want to blend. Like oil and water, the two natures of chakra would not mesh together so easily, but with a little effort, Saki finally managed to visualize what they were doing: the smallest amount of the two merged together like a water leaking through a pinhole. More and more began to slowly mix, until he could imagine there being a third, different chakra inside him that felt as though it were a ball of gel.

His concentration was broken, however, when he unexpectedly hacked a horrible cough. The fit lasted for several seconds.

The birds that had been so peaceful immediately took flight, startled at the disruption of the still forest.

Saki remembered that he hadn't taken a medical pill before he left for the forest; his symptoms were completely uninhibited. Sighing, he reached into a back belt pouch and pulled out one of the pills and popped it in mouth, disappointed that all his concentration was so easily broken.

But then he looked up.

The grass in front of him was covered in a mixture of blood and... some clear liquid? Saki adjusted his body so that he was on his knees, then put his face close enough to the floor that he could more closely inspect the liquid. Most disturbingly... it was eating away at the dirt and grass. Quickly.[/spoilername]

Applying (I guess?) for two cursed seals for my abominableness. One for free, as per the Abomination kinjutsu, and another by replacing my Healing Factor ability with a Cursed Seal.
