In a surprising turn of events, the Other Kiri would feel a strange urge as the demonic aura surged past his consciousness. As he gripped the handle of the sword, he was preparing to attack the real Hoshi after having known his true location and marking the man apart from his imitations. Inside, he was restless, as if the beast was getting spurred to act. And so as he poured his energy onto the blade and was ready to attack, he would feel a primal instinct sudden grab hold of his soul. In that instant, the Other Kiri would suddenly feel as though he was pulled from consciousness for a split moment. The beast finally takes control of the body and while the mind was firm to attack, his senses only made him think more dangerous, even to itself. Unable to discern the strategy, he would recklessly attack and the flames from the attack would hit the clones instead.
At that point, the Other Kiri would rein in the beast and much to his disappointment at what happened, he clicked his tongue. Sharpened eyes, he would glare at Hoshi but he was still in check with his emotions. Perhaps he would not see what was to happen next. As he prepared to attack with his sword, striking with a wide range of his power, he would find himself hitting just the clone, sparing Hoshi for a second time.
It was by that time when Hoshi would pull off a surprising technique, a wave coming to life in the middle of the battlefield. And as if to begin his return, Hoshi would reveal a stunning retaliation. The Other Kiri had not foreseen this event and was caught by the deadly strike that struck him. Now growling with anger, the Other Kiri would spit out blood as he readied for another attack. Rushing forward, he would swing his blade once more, hoping to let loose a round of diagonal slashes to further his advance. Much to his dismay, it was all for naught as the wave had ended up shielding Hoshi.
“Pesky little prey,” he clicked his tongue as he whirled the blade on his hand and let his free hand trace along the wound that he suffered. But so long as he was in charge, the pain would not be a problem. At that point, he could feel the roaring of the beast inside once more. “Fine. Play time is over.”
