Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A figure approached the dome, her attire only half expected for one walking through a desert as Reika continued her way to where she could only assume the entrance into the dome was. Her black hair tied into a ponytail, a pair of simple dark shorts and a light long-sleeved shirt was what she chose. Considering the places she's travelled through and visited, there were certainly worse clothing options to choose from. The primary thing that stood out about her was that her hands were bandaged up, though looking at it one could tell it was done with precision and not just bandaging up a wound.

Normally, the woman wouldn't have much of a reason to approach a village proper like this, but she had something in mind... and in hand. She carried a somewhat large package filled with several different artistic mediums, such as clay, pigments, and the sort. Though with it being sealed as to prevent the sand from ruining it, it's not like anyone could really see it as she walked or waited.

It took her a chunk of the day, but she'd finally make it to the entryway of the dome, in which she'd wait however long it would take for whoever would confront her. Even if she didn't visit villages often, it didn't take long for her to learn how the procedure roughly went. There were variances but they all ended up with someone being allowed in or denied entry for one reason or another.

Gate duty.. something that this redhead hated to do. Mainly because you actually had to pay attention and wasn't allowed to drop off any work to anyone else. A sigh of boredome came from him as he stretched out. Arms long above his head and arching his back. It took a moment before he noticed a rather off individual stood there. He would grab a small water bottle and walk up to the person. Treat someone as how you would like to be treated... that was a saying he lived with.

As he got closer he would call out. "Oooi, want some water? The sun can be quite harsh!" He once he was close by he would either offer it or just keep it in his hand. "Not many people these days... what can I do for ya?"
If the other spoke about entre... then he would simply asks for documentations and the reason(s).

"Donuts at the bakery! I say, the donuts at the bakery! What a rarity! Glazed, blueberry, strawberry, and your other fruit flavors! Because there are, Donuts at the BAKERY!" The song continued on and on as he continued to the gates. It'd been a while since he'd been to the entrance of the village. With his tattered shroud covering his latest, and perhaps nicest red coated suit, he's look like a wondering begger. A begger that probably got into a few scraps, judging from the small tears and dust clutter that made the shroud look mangy. If one really took the time to observe his appearance, they would maybe notice the patches of a nice red suit here and there through the holes of the torn shroud. The song was something he began to sing, anticipating the taste of the sweet bread that he'd been longing for since he was gone. But the song was also sang to announce his appearance while he drew near the entrance. No need to be stealthy, and his threat level considerably dropped since he closed off any chance of stealth.

His song began to fade as he quieted himself. Curiosity began to peek as he noticed one with a clean ponytail, seemingly waiting on someone near the entrance to the village. A newbie coming back from a mission perhaps? Another second of observation, and he noticed someone with a water bottle approaching the traveler. 'When did they start handing out water bottles? That's actually a nice touch.' Whenever he was on hate duty again, he'd reward the troop. Maybe with some of those donuts.

"I hope I didn't sound too excited about those donuts." Uzi said as he approached the duo. He came to a complete stop, giving them breathing room as he studied the pair. He wore a slight smirk, trying not to give away his excitement of being back at the village. His red eyes would connect with their own if they cared to look his way. Though he was a Captain of the force, he'd await his welcome as well. Small talk would keep him occupied until then. He hoped to see a familiar face, but a welcome to the village was all he searched for here.

At least the wait time wasn't long at all as Reika quickly noticed the redhead approach. The offer of the water bottle was a bit of a surprise, but not one she'd argue against that's for sure. "That'd be much appreciated, stranger." She'd reply, accepting the gift that was the water bottle that he had offered, opening it, and drinking a bit of it. She'd return the cap onto it as the redhead spoke up again.

"I'm looking to try and do some trading with any merchants that are within the village, got some unique artistry materials here. As for documentation, unfortunately I'm not from any of the villages so I really lack anything of the sort. I know that it'll make things difficult, but my name's Rakujo Reika." She'd say before noticing someone singing in the distance. She'd turn, causing her black hair to now rest on her shoulder as she examined the newcomer with her red eyes. His shroud was well worn, but under the tattered mess that it was, was that of a suit.

"Don't apologize for what brings you joy. The world needs as much of that as possible." She'd say loud enough for the man in the tattered shroud to hear.

As Ryota handed the water he slowly heard a song. ' i guess someone is hungry...' he would hear the female out before nodding. "Quick second.." he would walk back, grab another water and would walk back. Offering the red suited man a water too, before turning to the female.

"The people may be skittish to nee faces, due to recept happenings. Please don't let that dether you... now If you would like to fill in the details on the paper I can let you through." He would hand her a form with a oen before making way to the man. "Hello, may I please have documentations and reason for visiting?" He did not recognize this man, thus he handled everything with protocol.

If the man gave his papers and reasoning. Or the lack of it. He would simply nod. If the female was done writing he would take the papers and let her trhough.

"Oh no way!" Uzi looked at the water bottle in pure amazement. "I get a water bottle too!?!?" Uzi looked at the guy and wanted to give him the biggest high-five of his life, but now he realized he probably looked really goofy and unprofessional. He grunted as he cleared his throat and gave a stiff "Thank you." He slowly began to sip the water. It tasted like sea waves gracing the beach sands, without the sea salt. Putting the cap back on, he continued to watch the gate interaction.

'Recent happenings?' He was gone longer than he wanted to be. His thoughts of the bakery vanished and was replaced by his concern for Suna. He began having thought of the Mist Village, which he quickly subsided. He wouldn't lose another village. 'Maybe I'm getting too far ahead.'

"Sounds like you're in! I hope you enjoy!" Uzi looked to the woman with glee. He hope she enjoyed herself. If or when she walked away he would give a suggestion. "If you need a guide or anything, I'm sure someone in the village would be willing to help." Regardless of if she walked away or not, Uzi would now turn to the gate guardian.

"Can we have a quick discussion?" Uzi would ask while pulling a card like slip from his garments. He showed it to the Sandy, revealing that he was a Captain of the ANBU, and indeed from Suna. "I'm coming back from a long trip, and overheard the bit about 'recent happenings'? He air quoted. He would allow the guy to read over his information, handing it over if need be. After receiving the clearance to put it away he would continue on. "Is there any Intel I can get on that? Or should I visit the Kage?" He had many questions. The more he thought about it, the more that Kage visit started to sound mandatory.

The man who was handling them went to grab the man wearing tattered shround a bottle of water was well, before handing her a paper and pen, along with letting her know that people may be skittish due to recent happenings. "Understood, thanks for letting me know." She'd say, filling out the paper without hesitation. It's a good thing she didn't have any reason to hesitate or anything to hide.

She'd finish with the paperwork, hand it back to the redhead, and bowing slightly to the two men. "Thank you." She'd say before picking up the box she had back up from the sand and making her way into the village.

"Can we have a quick discussion?" His eyes went back towards the male and would then see the card... "Oh, for hoots' sake." He muttered under his breath and would sigh a little. He should have known this was too easy a job right as of now and would look bored right after him. ' That is my boss..? What a huge let down, that guy seems to give even more work than Shin does!'

"I'm coming back from a long trip, and overheard the bit about 'recent happenings'? Ryota did check the card to make sure it was the real deal... and for sure it was the real deal right at the moment. He felt like this was more of a pain than anything. "Is there any Intel I can get on that? Or should I visit the Kage?" He would wave the guy over to do as if he was showing something on the horizon. "The too-long-to-read version, hoot went down. Baron attacks, and I believe we had 23 deaths..? lotsa wounded. The kage had wounds from chakra... clans started to work together, we managed to fend off some fiends that almost blew us up, and tried to bury us... All around.. somewhere out there now." He would comment before scratching the back of his neck.
Ryota told the probably most jumbled up timeline there was, things just went too quickly for the young male to catch up to sometimes, and not to mention his own near death expresiance had been amazing... *Cough, sarcasm, cough*
"If you want to have a look for yourself, please go insdie and have a look. We should be going underground in a bit again..." He would try to count the time but failed a little on that. "Sometime...."

'23 deaths?' He could only wonder what terror was amongst them as he continued. The entire village would take a turn. After listening to the gate guardian, he only had more questions to ask. But he kept them to himself, wondering who was in office. 'Is Akkuma still around?' Uzi would only give a nod, and once granted access, he would continue moving forward. He hadn't been within the village in a while, but the donuts were far from his mind now. "Thanks." He would add, wondering what Suna had in store for him. He gave a slight wave, a gesture of thanks before vanishing within the village.
