The wind was blowing and like the wind, time was passing. Soon the beautiful landscape was covered in darkness, the black cloud looming above him, he couldn't see that far as he used to be and it was already an obvious sign that he'll need to leave. Despite not reaching the village itself, knowing the dangers of what may lurk in the darkness, it would be best to leave now, find a shelter at least. Packing up his ink and brush container and forming a set of seals, causing his stacks of paper to disappear in a poof of smoke and sealed inside his scroll.
Taking up his baggage, he made his way to the shoreline of the Lightning Country, there he found a small shack and a boat floating outside. Lanterns were lit up and he could see a vague shadow moving about in front of the shack. Seeking for shelter, he moved forward to find an old man, gathering ropes and some oil canisters, seemingly not a motel of that sort but his own house. Would be embarrassing to ask for a night of sleep but instead, he had an idea.
"Excuse me, are you leaving? Mind if I tag along, anywhere would do, I'm a traveler you see." He asked the old man, not a startle or a flinch but the old man faced him and nodded, pointing towards his boat at the back of his shack to prepare himself. "Thank you" He replied as he made his way into his old boat, it was old yet sturdy and he trusted the man's skill, knowing his skill and experience was something not to question about. Preparing himself to move, he sat in the an open corner overlooking the country, bidding farewell.
