Still wondering if the boys would be able to stand on their own again but leaving the medical work to the medical professionals Kamaru came up on Sabaku giving a speech to a crowd of protester’s now. After he was done he looked behind him to noticed Kamaru smiling slightly. Giving the young boy a wink he addressed the group while putting a hand on the young boy’s shoulder.
”Thank you for those words. My apologies, I was tending to two boys in an accident that may not walk again depending on the medical attention they receive now. For someone so young though my associate here has a solid set of morals and ideals wouldn’t you agree? But as my younger partner stated you should be ashamed of yourself.” Kamaru stated simply looking out into the crowd of protestors and workers as well now it seemed, ”The building being constructed is a clinic to help those in need of medical assistance. It’s providing jobs and through that money to the community that will boost the local economy from the workers building it and medical professionals once it’s built to literally ‘heal’ your community will need your support and services. For the two boys that are facing not being able to walk for the rest of their lives can you ensure them the ability to walk with the current medical assistance in the area without a clinic?” Kamaru began sliding his hands into his pockets wondering if the medical shinobi will save their legs. The situation did look pretty rough, Kamaru shook his head from side to side bringing him back into the moment finding himself looking around before pulling a hand free and noticing his favorite self-motivated worker amongst the protesters now and made eye contact with him. Kamaru waved a hand out at the crowd. ”And what about your children? Can you currently truly guarantee and ensure if this had happened to them, an accident in general I wouldn’t wish something this horrific on your children, would you see them walking or running again with what’s available for medical attention in the future?” Kamaru inquired.
”There was talk earlier of a Lady Tsundare and what some shinobi did to her. Since I don’t know about the situation from your side and the primary purpose of a protest is to be heard I will listen to your side of the story and see what I can find out. To the workers protesting instead of working if you feel that adamantly about not working the job for personal reasons don’t work it. But don’t expect to get paid for work you haven’t accomplished and don’t want to do.” Kamaru declared before taking on a more serious tone, ”Granted since we have your names if I find out you are partially responsible in some way for the two boys who may not being able to walk… Kamaru stated facing down his favorite slacker, ”Imma find you… and we’re going to have a private conversation.” his face implying darker thoughts and actions.
Clapping his hands together with a smile and adjusting his hardhat Kamaru in a more cheery voice seemed to boom out, ”Alright…If I can get the workers working to get back to work, I’ll update you when I find out about the boys. And for the protestors if I can get the representative, we’ll get you some safety gear and we’ll walk and talk. We still have a job to do as well unless you’d prefer telling us the details at a later time we can set that up. For the most part we need the crowd to disperse and the workers to get back to work.”
If things died down Kamaru would clap Sabaku on the back and tell him he did a good job defusing the situation, if not and it turned into a powder keg… well he’d deal with it. If Mr. Special opted to slink off and it hadn’t turned into a powder keg Kamaru would make a note to have a private conversation with him later.
