Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Paging Sousuke (Free, Open)

Sousuke rubbed his forehead. "I do not like it either."<i></i> He spoke. The ultimate truth was that Katuso wanted the Cabal alive. "High Lords who I work with, and are financial heads of Suna are calling for their heads on spikes. Powers greater than I am, and look up to, would prefer it I merely get past this. Logic dictates to me that this threat once it has outlived its usefulness and resourcefulness to the realm should be expunged from the realm like cancerous cells being sliced out before the disease grows malignant. What I deem as evil, always had a way of returning. That is the never ending nature of men and women. Then you have the moral arguments saying give people second chances, certainly some Cabal members are morally insane."<i></i> A lot of difficult decisions had to be made by this young man. It seemed as if he was very much about to snap. His eyes widened and glassed over. Yet... and yet... he did not snap. For all the buildup, frustrations mounting, Sousuke did as per the usual and kept calm. He lowered his hands.

Enzeru's expression at who Koichi was, made Sousuke smile. It was a very rare thing to see theSteward smile. In fact, this would have been probably the first time he ever smiled (at least in front of Kimi, and approaching Koichi). "Well met Lord Koichi."<i></i> He greeted as he watched the man make a very fashionable and timed entrance. He watched as Koichi gather Kimi, and ask for him to report to him. Sousuke cleared his throat. He looked at Enzeru. The smile from before was still present on his face. "Lord Koichi is used to this."<i></i> For what was next to occur was something very mechanical. "KimiwastakenhostageandtakeninSoonsSanctuary. Duringherimprisonmentsheeventuallybrokeoutonherown. KimibeleivesthatSoonsMerchantsweretheemployersoftheCabal. Iamstillmakingupmymindonthesubjectasitisaveryseriousimplication. IamconsideringthevalidityofthesituationorifKimiwassubjectedtoapossibleconscipracybetweeninterestedpartiestomakeoursometimesallieslooklikeourenemy. EnzeruherewasperhapsanagentinherrescueanddidsowithgracebefittingofamanwhoIwouldeemworthytobeasuitorforyourdaughter. Itisquiteposibblethatherodeinonaflamingsteedandplasmasymphonywhichwouldindeedbveryheroic. EvenIapproveofthismanbeingapossiblesuitor.<i></i> Sousuke spoke very quickly and without break. Surprisingly Sousuke wasn't out of breath either despite him being very tired. Sousuke cleared his throat once more. "I'll keep an eye on Kimi too through various means. I suspect she will have a bigger part to play going forward. I am weighing in her report."<i></i> He motioned to Enzeru, "This man, Enzeru, will be of assistance to her as well... in her safe keeping. I was merely concerned that you may not be happy with him residing at your residence which is ... better than mine."<i></i>

Sousuke's eyes would narrow as it seemed things were growing horizontally wrong. He looked skyward and gave their cavern ceiling a very bad look. He would then look at Enzeru. "I believe I may have done irreparable damage to this meeting, gathering, thread, when I delivered my report. Have your controller fix this accordingly. Would you kindly?"<i></i>

The words of the other were certainly logical. He could see the problem this man faced, then. It was not merely a case of Mist, where the Mizukage made a demand and his word was absolute. Apparently Sousuke had to answer to others, and that always turned out poorly for effective leadership. Too many hands on the reigns typically led to the horse running off the obvious cliff because neither side could agree on left or right. ”Leading is a burden more than I thought. I was unaware of the differenced between leading here and in my own home.”

It was odd how different he felt as Kimi wrenched herself away from him. He played it off as having gone so long without anyone to be around, but the fact was he felt disappointed at her flight. You just need to relax. You've gone years without so much as a word to others but rarely, and now then lovely woman ismerely acting nice and you're reading into it. He wouldn't shake his head at his own inner thoughts, but he certainly wanted to here. As Kimi explains to her father about his helping, the Kirigakurian gives a slight bow of the head in respect to the other's words. Well, he had a place to stay now, that was a definite step up from what he'd planned on doing.


It didn't surprise him that the leader of the village and her father knew each other, after all Kimi herself seemed to be on a more than professional relationship with Sousuke. As the Kazekage gives him a smile and vague phrase, those blue eyes widen and Enzeru merely stares at the other. He spoke more words without breathing than Enzeru had all in the last hour. For a moment he sits there, blinking at the display. And processing. There were two very unique things about Enzeru that made him well suited for ANBU work in mist. One was his memory, which was just as good as his aim with a bow. The other was his keen senses. He went over the rush a few times in his head, and while he couldn't decipher all of it, he did get some parts as well as a general idea of it.

”You forgot the part where I was firing twin greatbows from the back of the horse.” His face was deadpan, as was his voice. And a look shot to the twins pleaded with them to go along with it. ”But yes, I too will aid in the safety of your daughter. So long as I draw breath know that she shall too.”

”HEY! STOP BREAKING THE FORUMS!” The voice screams from nowhere and everywhere, along with a loud thunking sound as the controller has to switch themes from vintage to see the whole post. And then he erases their memory of his ever doing so.
 
Koichi listened silently and then played Sousuke's words back through his mind a few times. He also withheld a chuckle as a voice from the heavens apparently scolded the steward. Sousuke's words about Enzeru being a possible suitor made him think. If this young man could get his daughter to finally settle down, he would be perfectly fine with that.

"I shall of course watch over my daughter and I welcome the both of you keeping an eye on her as well. I believe it would be wise to get her home so that she can refresh herself before your tour, Enzeru. You are welcome to follow us, or stay here. The twins have your scent and should be able to find you."

He stood, chuffed to the three big cats and shifted his daughter higher into his arms. "I shall see you around, Sousuke. Perhaps you would like to come over for supper sometime?"

After Sousuke's answer, the Head of the Nekozuka family would turn and head toward their compound.

"Dinner would be very good."<i></i> Sousuke answered, "It has been a long time since I have been treated to your most exceptional cooking ability."<i></i> Sousuke rose up and grinned slightly at Enzeru as he spoke about the twin great bows. "Yes. There was that. Takahashian bred horses."<i></i> He added. It would seem that Enzeru seemed to roll along with this. He had to think though that the foreign man had to take a minute to process everything he had just said. Sousuke speedtalking, and understanding it were two entirely different things. Enzeru was growing on Sousuke. Very few people understood his speed talking initially. "Bravo Enzeru."<i></i>

Sousuke held his hands behind him. There were many things to consider. The concept of Soon's being the ones to have plotted the Cabal against them. It was a very difficult thing to accept, but it was entirely possible that it may or may not have been true. It would take some serious time to figure out this riddle. The Steward would get to the bottom of this. The Cabal while defeated still had shadows about them. Shadows needed dispelling. Some of them were easier to figure out than others, but to put the whole issue of them in conjunction with Soon's sanctuary would be a very serious accusation. "I need to detail the information Kimi gave me, and figure out this web. I'll check in a few days to check up on her myself... maybe then we'll have dinner."<i></i> Sousuke made a slight bow. "Do take care of course in the mean time."<i></i> With that Sousuke too was leaving the scene. There was investigating to be had.
